We are locals. Always want to live this place and never do. 1. We stood at counter while 3 workers were trying to use the register . Thats fine but not one person said hello and acknowledged us when we waited. 2. Asked for a light beer. They have craft beers on tap...ok thats good....but the person behind the counter and another worker she asked didn t know a light beer or dark beer. 3. Our food came out 5 minutes apart...each dish. 4. For two drinks. Blt. Cup of chili, small burger and sandwich with mediocre service $67 was steep. Sorry guys. We will wait to be back in year. Hope it gets better. We want you to succeed.

Being from the midwest and knowing quite a few transplants I always hear that its hard to get a really good burger in California. The Barn proves that it is possible. Not only is this my favorite of the few cheeseburgers that Ive tried in Cali but it ranks up there with any of the burger shops in Chicago that Ive been to. We were here with a bunch of people (did I mention it is large enough to host events?) the night before my sister in-laws wedding and the burgers, fries, and other sandwiches were all delicious. If you are in the area and craving a burger I highly suggest making a stop here. You wont regret it!

Second time in a few weeks weve been here and had poor service. Today, after waiting close to 15 minutes, they brought out the burgers but no fries. By the time they brought the fries out, the burgers were cold (call me crazy, but I prefer them together.) Last time we were there, they brought my food but not my wifes, apparently they had given her order to people at another table. The food is good, but they need to get their act together on the service.

Great hole-in-the-wall place! All food is sustainably sourced, they have massive water jugs that is help yourself, and the design inside is beautiful, quaint, and has a rustic feel to it. We love this place! There is seating inside and out, but inside seating is limited. I am not a fan of veggie burgers, but this place had the BEST veggie burger I have ever had in my life!

Great spot and good comfort food. The fries are amazing and the Mac and cheese squares were great too. Had their spicy burger which wasnt spicy whatsoever. I felt the burger was small for the price ($16) but it was decent. Probably will order something else next time. Service was excellent thou and the outdoor patio area was great. Ill definitely return.

A very unique setting. The interior design and the menu have been well thought out. The menu has just the right amount of items and each made with the greatest of care. I recommend the chicken sandwich and the Mac and cheese. Everyone of the staff had a smile on their face. This speaks volumes. We look forward to our next visit!

The name suggests local and healthy food which I was really excited about. Unfortunately the food wasnt as good as expected. I had a salad with green beans and nectarines and the dressing had no taste and wasnt made with olive oil. Instead a cheap unhealthy vegetable oil was used. Lots of food is fried. Outside area is nice.

We saw this rustic barn on the side of the coastal road, and we had to do a u-turn and check it out! We are so glad we did! They have locally sourced ingredients, local beers, and a cool handmade vibe that will keep us coming back! Reasonably priced too! ( free wifi and great music )

Its pretty, and the food is decent, but the prices are high. For example, a bottle of soda is $2.75, and ordering a burger and fries with a soda is near $20. My friend wasnt even full after eating that. Its right off the side of the road so you can hear cars drive by while you eat.

LOVE all the local fare. Great atmosphere for dates, friends, families, and dogs. Weekly Farm-to-Barn salad is my favorite whatever it is! Local owners, local employees, local meat, local beer, this is THE local coastal burger joint. You must get fries and/or the Mac Attack.

Excellent burgers! Also loved the Mac Attack! But the fries had a odd sweet flavor as if sugar was added... Wouldve been awesome if they had kept it just potatoes and salt. Service was ok. Very casual in a good way... Great place to stop by after a day at the beach.

This place has great food and a beautiful outdoor patio. The menu and food is simple but very tasty. Its a little on the expensive side, but there for is all locally sourced and its Half Moon Bay so all the restaurants are overpriced.

Great burgers and dogs, the meat is really flavorful and local; a little pricey, but standard for the bay area. They dont have a lot of beer taps, but what they have is a good selection. The cold brew coffee was excellent.

Down to earth place. Good prices, better food. Burger honestly looked a little small but it packed a huge amount of flavor. Very impressed. Good craft beer on Tap as well. Definitely check it out, you wont be dissapointed

Enjoyable place to have lunch and enjoy the barn like restaurant. Design and decor are charming. Come here for a healthy "farm to barn" soup, salad, and sandwich. Nice seating outside when the weather permits.

The worst thing about this place for me is- its a block from my house!!! And I want their milk shakes everyday they are open. The food is great too. I miss Blue Sky, but this place is an AWESOME replacement.

The burger was delicious. The French fries had a sweet n salty season on them that made them irresistible. The pork sandwich was amazing. The Mac n cheese bites with the homemade ranch were to die for.

Absolutely loved the barn burger, with juicy meat and toasted bun. Also, the slightly sweet taste of the Kennebec fries was delicious. Burger, fries, a root beer and tip came to $20. Will return!

Great locally sourced burgers and veggie burgers. Awesome rotating selection of local bay area and half moon bay brews. Quality without any pretense! Best place to stop a tank up while riding.

Great food. The french frys were some of the best I have had. The milk shake was made just right it was thick and creamy. The service was good and friendly. This will be one of my regular stops.

Delicious quality locally sourced food offering comfortable and cozy inside and outside seating options with heat lamps, blankets, and patio lights! A great casual place to dine!

Ordered the Barn Burger, it was fantastic. Definitely will come back. Only problem is road noise during commute hours which detracts from the otherwise beautiful ambiance.

Love this place! Great local food, counter service, dog friendly, cute patio. Wish I couldve tried a beer but the Barnold Palmer was delicious. Will definitely be back

Long wait, 30 min for a salad and a burger around 3 on saturday. Burger was just ok. Very good dressing for salad and good fries, but not enough for us to come back.
