I dont often leave reviews, but when a restaurant that I have been going to for over 20 years ruins Fathers Day and my fathers birthday, I have to. First red flag, an empty restaurant at noon on Fathers day. My family has been going to the Northgate location for many many years, but we just moved to Everett and thus wanted to try our new local Red Robin. Our server was a young lady and it was her second day working, she was great, but unfortunately her management put her in a really bad position. I honestly feel bad that she has to work there. She was great. We ordered 2 Stellas draft, after being notified that the bar staff is cleaning the taps, our waitress came back gave us the last two Stellas they had. I am not a big beer drinker so only getting 1 beer each was not a big problem. My mother and father always get the same thing, fish and chips and the prime rib dip. After we ordered, the waitress came back and told us that they were out of prime rib. This is what really upset me. It was my fathers birthday and fathers day lunch and they were out of the two things he ordered, stella and the prime rib dip. At this point I asked to speak to management, after waiting a few minutes and no one coming over ( although the restaurant was empty ) I walked over to the kitchen area and asked for the manager. I asked him why there is no prime rib? He explained that it was not unthawed that morning. No apologies, no I am sorry, no attempt to fix the situation. I then asked to speak to the GM. This GM was simply the worst. When she eventually found the time ( after attempting to turn on the neon sign above the kitchen, obviously more important than serving her customers ) she came to the table and looked at us as though we were criminals who just stole from her. Her glare was filled with anger. The first thing out of her mouth was why did I ask the manager about the prime rib? Not I am sorry how can I fix this. I replied with, why are you such an inadequate manager. Your stella is out and no prime rib, on a busy day for fathers day? She immediately got defensive, took no responsibility and told us if we didnt like it we could leave. So we did. Never coming back.

It has been a while since I ate there but the other day, my wife was craving a Mile High Mud Pie. We stopped in for a quick dinner and by the end of my meal, I reaffirmed that Im done with this place. The Monster Burgers cost nearly $15 now. I ordered the Seafood Scatter which I always liked but it was about 1/3 the size it was when I was younger and cost $16+. To add insult to injury, the fish was overcooked as well. They never did bring me my coleslaw and when I asked them for a small cup of pickles to eat with my fish, they told me they would have to charge me for a bottle of pickles. Seriously, that actually happened. I had to ask four times for a fry refill, once to the manager who stopped by to ask how our meal was. I had to ask two more times after that and when it came, it was, of course, overcooked and a very small portion. Theyre really guarding their french fry consumption apparently. Ive had a long relationship with this restaurant. My folks started eating here over 40 years ago and Ive been eating there for at least 30. Youll never hate anyone or anything more than someone or something you once loved who/that let you down hard. So long Red Robin. In my end of town, I have Bobs Burger and Brew, Blazin Onion and several other better alternatives now. When Im in the mood for a burger, Ill take my business to them. At the very least, if you had maintained the quality of your food and service, I could have gutted out the massive increase in price over the years but you didnt so Im out.

Not my favorite Red Robin to go to by far... but I live close by... the last few times weve gone (family of 4) the experience keeps getting worse. Once a hostess looked at my kids and asked if we needed a high chair.... theyre 9 and 11 years old AND tall for their ages, we politely declined. Twice weve gotten this one server who is just TERRIBLE!! Shes not very friendly and not very good at being a server (I have been a server in the past and can often sympathize with how busy they can get... I cannot sympathize with plain bad service) another time we were sat in a section where it was obvious the server had been give too many tables too close together to effectively manage flow. (Shame on the hostess crew for improper seating) the server wasnt bad but the experience could have been better with better planning on the hostesses part. Now for the food.... I feel like yhe quality has consistently gone down each time we go. Last visit the food was warm... but not hot like freshly cooked food should be. My kids like going there but Im almost tempted to drive all the way to Lynnwood for better service and quality ing the future!

A horrible experience. They used to be great and now they are mediocre at best for their "gourmet" food! I visited here with my wife, her friend, and our four children. All of our adult food was cold and one order was wrong. Our kids food was just fine but it took them over 30 minutes to bring out our order once ordered. The waitress blamed the cooks for making our adult food first and the kids food last and that they were the ones that didnt do anything about it. The manager refunded my wifes and I food (her friend got a replacement quickly so she was okay) but didnt offer an apologies or do something above and beyond to make up for the customer experience. They were not busy on a Tuesday early evening so they cant use that excuse. This is the third time in the past few months that we have gone to this one or the Smokey Point RR to have such a terrible experience. RR used to be a great place to go to but I think it has gone severely downhill. It is not worth the price and next time I will just cook my own on the grill. Do yourself a favor and skip this for Jack in the Box if you want a burger.

We enter to the Red Robin on Everett Mall Way to celebrate my granddaughters 11th birthday. I told her that they sing happy birthday to her and clap and she was so excited. You see, she is Autistic, and those little things matter to her. She watched as other patrons who were celebrating birthdays got that happy treatment. After our meal, and the crowd was getting smaller, our waiter came back over with her free Sundae, but apologized and said they were pretty busy and they didnt have enough staff to come for 1 -2 minutes and sing to her. she was brush disappointed and hard to explain to her They should either do ALL birthdays or NO Birthdays but not pick and choose who they will or will not do this for . Our waiter also was sweating so bad while serving our food we were afraid he was going to drip sweat in our food . We will never go back and I would not recommend it.
