Been here a couple of times, i think its the only Indian-type place in half moon bay...Ive never really liked Himalayan food until i had this place, completely changed my perception...not as flavorful when it comes to tandoori type dishes but pretty filling and doesnt give you a food coma after...had i think "momos" for an appetizer, meat inside was lamb and very good.

Food is OK but expensive. Service is terrible. Waited over an hour for bread?? Saw two potential diners come in, sit down, and wait for 10-15 minutes without so much a a hello before they got up and left. I wish I would have done that. Even with a half full restaurant food took about 1:15. Extremely disorganized.

Nice simple Nepali restaurant. Decent food, at a not bad price with decent portions. Looks like the decor was bought lock-stock-and-barrel from the Thai place that it replaced! Lol Needs more Nepali unique items on menu rather than the usual daal-naan-sabzi, but otherwise good.

Get in here and try some Himalayan food. Order the dishes that are particular to the Himalayas and not to the Indian sub continent generally. I enjoyed the pakora (which I get instead of rice on my low carb diet). The chicken is delicious as is the mushroom dish.

The food was fair, some hits and misses. What brought down my rating is the extremely slow service. There were not too many patrons the evening we went, but it took a while for our orders and to get the check. The owner needs to have some serving staff.

I think this was the only Indian-style restaurant Ive gone to and come out and day the food didnt taste anything but Indian. Indian spices are totally not there! Service was not good either. I hope they had better food for the high prices.

Wow the chicken tikka masala was delicious. Really enjoyed it. The chicken itself had flavor instead of fully relying on the sauce which is great. Mango lassi was average but everything else was really phenomenal. Definitely coming back

Food is delicious with large portions. Breads are really good, especially batura, and soups are nice. Love the kheer!!. Service consistently warm and friendly. Very soothing environment. I eat here at least once or twice every week.

Ask for the Vegetarian special or just try the vegan fried okra, sir. this is actually a very vegetarian friendly menu. They have combos that are amazing okra has great texture too. Try the eggplant curries
