Okay so here goes my first review ever on yelp! So ofcourse I had to come and commend these delicious ponchiks! YUMMMMMM! I actually heard about them from a co worker and all she had to tell me was "nutella" and I was setting up a visit over there. I went in thinking I would be the only white person in there (LOL) but I actually saw a melting pot of people in there. So I ordered the nutella ponchik thinking they would just pull one out of the shelf but she told me she was making it right on the spot. Wow! Then the delicious thing headed my way and I was so excited that I just bit right in and burned my lip! Hahaha But let me tell you it was so worth it. The dough is really good and ofcourse nutella how could you go wrong with that. I really hope that I will not crave them too often because all though my tummy likes them my waist sure doesnt.

I first discovered this bakery when a customer came into our store and gifted us these amazing ponchiks. I had no idea what they were, but I was in heaven. Today, I finally decided to stop into the shop. Dont be turned off by the wrought iron on the windows out front. This place is bright and familial. After ordering my 4 Nutella ponchiks she noted that it would take about 20 minutes. It was worth the wait. They were hot, filled with delicious Nutella, and really big. I probably didnt need as many as I ordered. I just dont recommend coming here if youre in a rush because while its worth the wait, there will be a wait. Absolutely delicious food that ranges from sweet to savory pastries. I really cant say enough good things.

Fantastic food but the wait is ridiculous even when you call and pre order it. We always arrive at the time we have told them we would pick up and they still make us wait about 10 minutes. Whats the point of pre ordering???? Really bad service. Adding to my review they also messed up our order. Seriously???? We ordered meet perashki and got something with veggies. And when I called and asked if this is their new meet perashki they said no they had made a mistake because they are busy. And every other bakery who gets orders right are not? Stupid

Ordered the Nutella + Raspberry ponchik, and it was great! The pastry dough itself is quite chewier than a regular donut, so it takes a bit of effort to bite off a piece. The filling, though, is actually a great mix of raspberries with Nutella. Its very easy to get carried away with sugar but thankfully its not overly sweet. What struck me is that you dont taste the raspberry and chocolate separately, but working together - they definitely nail the classic raspberry chocolate mix more than most chocolatiers.

The only thing to get here is the freshly baked and filled pineapple custard buns!!! Such a great price and so good! The buns are hot and crispy on the top! Eat it fresh but be careful the custard oozes everywhere. Theyre also good to take home and just microwave for a few seconds.My mom tried a lot of their other breads and pastries but they were all just mediocre, nothing special.

The first time I tried a Ponchik was for my college party the last day of class someone bought in this tasty donut thing which I didnt know was called a Ponchik till the end of the day and Yet I didnt know what the surprise it had inside. Taking a bite I was already hooked and couldnt stop eating it. Maybe Ill buy a box to myself.

I literally just finished eating their Chebureki. I am obsessed with this place. They have a huge variety of sweets perfect for any sweet tooth. And their perashki and chebureki are better than anywhere I ever tasted. Dont even get me started on the mini ponchiks. Heaven! Always fresh always warm and always delicious!

Came from NYC and just had to visit the place and I fell in love. Wish you had a location in New York, because all of my friends were asking to bring some back ! Your ponchiki were so much like the ones I had in Yerevan! Really delicious and the staff were so nice.

I dont know how they got all these good reviews but its not as delicious as it should be! I bought custard ponchikes & quality of the cream is awful! You cant eat them the next day cause it becomes like a rock! The price is also too high for that quality!!!

I always stick to the original ponchik although theyve become well known for their Nutella filled ponchik. They also offer a variety of deep fried oreos, Twix, Snickers and practically anything youd see at your county fair.

like the title says, best damn ponchiks (cream filled fried pastry, armenian variation of a donut) and perashki ( fried dough filled with seasoned ground beef, lightly fried, a russian or georgian common fast food_

These ponchiks are so good! I always order them for my office party, and everyone loves them. it finished really quickly! They are made fresh on the spot to order, which is the best part. Perfect amount of nutella.

Ponchiks are good BUT owners, how about service? Coming here 2nd day in a row, first day Ive been told to wait 40 min for my 3 ponchiks, today it was 20 minutes.You should think about that.

I was visiting LA, and this was by far the best place for ponchik and perashki. Make sure to order in advance, as there is always a long wait. I highly recommend this Papillon.

Friendly staff and awesome pastries. Known for their ponchiks and perashkis. They have a thing for Nutella. The Nutella Napoleon was very good. Also enjoyed the coffee.

Delicious ponchiks, my favorite is their ferrero Roche flavour when they have it, otherwise Nutella is also very good. Make sure you order ahead and eat them fresh.

These pastries are delicious. They make them fresh so expect to wait 15 minutes for your order. The parking lot is tiny so you may need to find street parking.
