We got lost on a side street looking for a bite to eat and saw this nifty cafe with a wonderful smell coming from inside. They have a great selection of baked goods and coffee, but the real winner here was the sandwich. I have not enjoyed such an amazing sandwich since my travels in Germany. Fresh made bread, quality ingredients, and worthy of my title of best sandwich in the USA! Dont miss out on this hidden gem, you wont be disappointed.

A true Margarita pizza is made on a very thin crust. Typically the ingredients are distributed to the edges. There is little or no crust ring. The ingredients are so simple it is hard to imagine it be mistreated. I was excited to find a Margarita pizza in my area. Do not expect true Italian Cuisine. Take anything and smother it in garlic and bad marinara and the masses will not complain. Is it true Italian? No.

I went in looking for a nice roll to make a sandwich. What I found was a lovely freshly baked panini roll, soft and chewy. I also saw many sourdough rolls on a rack which were NOT for retail sale but went to local restaurants instead. Local Ocean was where I was sent but they sold the rolls as a menu side in cut pieces. A little disappointed in my search for a sourdough roll to pick up for a sandwich.

Dont visit Newport without a stop at Panini Bakery! As a former New Yorker (can you ever take the New York out of a girl?), I can say that their pizza rivals any slice Ive ever had in NY. The butter shortbread is so amazing you will want to buy them by the bagful. And they sell them that way too! Dont miss it!

This is my favorite place for coffee in Newport. They are usually open 7am to 7pm and they have great pizza by the slice. The muffins are great. The coffee is very good. Ask them to turn the music down if it bothers you, or sit out front. Its a quiet side street and the (2) tables are tucked under the roof.

We stopped by for some pastries and coffee/hot cocoa and they were good. Whats not so good is that the staff completely ignored us even though we were next in line while they were making coffee and such. Regardless, its a good place for a quick stop.

I have dreams about Panini Bakerys cinnamon rolls. Get their first thing in the morning for a hot, gooey, delicious, amazing, incredible, awesome piece of heaven. They really make a great cup of coffee, and definitely try their housemade chai.

Great hole in the wall down to earth place. Pizza was delicious and they had an awesome selection of breads plus gourmet bakery items. Very little seating and CASH ONLY. They have an ATM for those of you who want to pay a hefty surcharge.

Just passing through but we tasted some of the Sourdough bread from here at a restaurant last night.We just had to stop by and get a bunch of bread and chocolate croissants.A real friendly bakery with great coffee and pizza too.

Pizza is good and the slices are huge. It reminds me of Sbarros as far as taste. They are usually busy here and parking is a huge hassle. Its best to walk if you are already exploring the area. CASH ONLY!!!

Starbucks its not. Funky, small, seating is iffy, needs remodeling, good bakery goods, great cast iron skillet eggs, fantastic pizza and sandwiches, best coffee in the world.
