I agree with William. Our meal was not that great but our waitress was fantastic. I ordered the 2:00am burger. Hash browns, bacon, egg, cheese. It sounded great and it is unique. The hash browns came in patty form and for a patty of hash browns to be good they need to be very crispy. The Hash browns were not crispy. The bacon was cooked well but it was just too thin. The bun was pretty good at being a bun. It held together until the end and it was lightly toasted which I thought was good. My egg was cooked too much or my egg didnt come with a yolk because there wasnt any yolk for me to dip my hamburger into. Lastly, my patty was not cooked medium but it was cooked done which helped to dry the burger out. The ranch and BBQ sauce I received didnt help the dryness of the burger. The french fries tasted old like they had been set out under the heat lamp for too long. In fact, we noticed that the food was under the heat lamps for a very long time before coming out to the tables. That could help explain why some of our food was lukewarm or cold.

Stayed at the hotel across from here in mid July. Recommendation by one of the workers. Food was great, very fulfilling with lots of options. Tacos were delicious! I dont eat Taco Bell so I was concerned I would not like them. However, our server (cool Asian chick with nice tattoos) proved that her suggestions were amazing. Another person at our table had the veggie burger. She liked it more than those from fast food and other restaurants as the patty was different. It had black beans mixed with I think soy. Portions were great! We couldnt finish the tacos, and couldnt take them home because it was too late out (wouldnt have eaten them anyway as we were going to sleep right after). We are in their outdoor portion which had like a tent on one side to make the space larger. One con would be that our side (although outside) lacked the tent. It just had rails and some people on the side walk were asking for money and other things. Didnt like that. Liked how they options for vegetarians where you could say no meat and it would actually taste good.

Apparently the servers dont like waiting on patrons on the patio when its 55 degrees. On Wednesday December 7, 2016 around 8:20pm I walked in and it was very loud. I asked the hostess for an outside table because I had a headache and wanted some piece and quiet on the patio. She then looked at the waitress for her approval. The waitress said "if you absolutely want to, you can sit outside" in an irritated tone. I then started to go outside but the normal door leading outside was closed. I turned back to the host stand and asked how to get out there. The waitress sarcastically pointed. The hostess was still standing there with zero intentions of seating me. Needless to say I will never be back again. On a positive note, when leaving I noticed a homeless woman who had moved into the patio and had all her belongings laid out across multiple tables. So if you decide to visit this fine establishment I highly recommend taking your own cleaning wipes for outside seating. Of course make sure its above 55 degrees.

Food was better than I thought it would be. Got the ribs. Normally sites place bbq sauce over them to hide the fact they are dry or overcooked. Surprisingly they were cooked perfectly and delicious. Next time Ill remember to ask for the sauce on the side. My friend had the Mac and cheese, really liked it. Service was so-so. Was surprised that the Greeter also turned out to be our waiter. Not too busy inside, but outside the "owners" were playing some fun games with other customers. Seemed like everyone out there were enjoying themselves. A bit disappointed in the available brews. Lots of Pils and Ales, but only one Lager. One thing I was happy about was the courtesy of allowing me to change the Ribs and Roasted Chicken to "Chicken strips" and bringing out a ramekin of honey mustard instead of two soufflés. Most restaurant servers dont know the difference. I would definitely go here again. Next time I plan on trying the Fish and Chips.

Happy hour is amazing! **Edited Review** So months later I must say I need to knock my rating down a few stars. Originally at 5, I thought Rock Bottom was a great deal and a pleasant place to grab a bite and a beer. After several less-than-stellar experiences I just dont see myself going back. Without going into too much detail, it was a combination of poor service, rude service and shrinking portions/lack of food quality. They always get the beer right, but when there are other places that treat me like family, why would I come back here when I am treated like a chore? Sorry Rock Bottom, I gave you a few chances to redeem yourself but I am so underwhelmed I wont be stopping back in....

I used to really like this place. The beer is great and the food is delicious. But time after time I would have awful experiences with the servers. Not all of them, some of them are lovely. But when 4/5 times you go and you get treated with disrespect...its a bad sign. The last time we thought, okay one more chance but...nope. One waitress seated us next to an extremely loud booth of men, when the entire restaurant was completely empty! Then she gave us an attitude when we asked politely to be reseated. A bartender was very rude to us as well for no reason. After a while of being treated badly, you stop going. We joke that weve hit "rock bottom" if we ever decide to go there.

We went for lunch with a group of 10. Service was fast, food was attractively served and portions were large. Lots of salads ordered, but the Cobb looked the best. The Bleu Cheese dressing served with it was incredible, not the runny stuff you normally see, but thick and chunky. I ordered the Lobster and Shrimp Enchiladas. Incredibly delicous. Served with black beans, red ale rice and two types of salsa. I also ordered the Handmade Rootbeer (working lunch you know) and it put Barqs to shame. We will be back to try other items such as the Cajun Fish Tacos and of course the brews.

I cant believe this place is even open. My wife, I, and two friends are out visiting long beach and decide to go here to eat then stay on the boat. We were there for dinner and it took over two hours for us to get our food and get out. Didnt order anything fancy or anything. By time we got our food an hr and half after we ordered it, it was all cold. The only thing that was good was our waitress who was very polite and trying to do everything to salvage this horrible meal. It wasnt worth the money and never going back again. It ruined my night and our trip.

Arrived at 3pm on Sunday. Sat in the patio. Table was dirty even after it was cleaned. Main dishes arrived before the appetizer. Food was cold, fries were old, bacon on my burger was like cardboard. Had to ask for fresh fries. Once the app arrived, it was a mostly butter in what was suppose to be crab and artichoke dip. Plates were greasy and grimy. Overall food was gross. Service was underwhelming.. Had to find someone for silverware. The only thing worth going for was the ice cold beer. Will not be going back.
