Ive been waiting for a great sushi restaurant in the East Bay and THIS IS IT! We started with the roasted shiso peppers - yum!!! The chefs omakase featured some of the freshest fish I have tasted. The Uni was incredibly fresh, the tai snapper - a real treat, the scallops melted in your mouth and all accompanied by house made soy sause and fresh wasabi. Great sake and beer selection. We also had a few more dishes that were all beautifully presented, unique, and delicious! To top off a great dining experience was the staff. Really really friendly and made for a fun dinner night out in Walnut Creek. Highly highly recommend!

The places decor is nice and the food is pretty good. Its all tapas style plates so it can add up quickly price-wise is the only real con. We got the sesame sweet potatoes, the squash dumplings, spicy broccoli, and the pistachio sea bass. The vegetables were all delicious, and the sea bass was pretty good (not sure where the pistachios were). Bar looked nice to so might be a great place in the future for drinks and an appetizer before dinner.

Absolutely loved this place. They have "small plates" for Asian food and some food that is pure comfort with an Asian twist. Loved what they do when you tell them it is your birthday. No dessert with candle, something subtle and classy as you first sit down. The Sasa spicy prawn tempura, crab, and avocado rolls were delish! Melted in your mouth. Friendly service. A little pricy but worth it.

I have been hearing about this place for some time now and I finally had an opportunity to go with a friend who is somewhat of a Sasa regular. The service was excellent and the staff is friendly and engaging. The food was amazing...brilliant and creative menu--deliciousness indeed. Loved the presentation, the coctail menu, and the atmosphere. I will definitely revisit there.

Delicious food, great ambiance, and welcoming service. We were so happy to find this place for lunch during a busy day and get a wonderful service experience. They were very acomodating and took the time to explain menu choices. My picky eater really enjoyed her food! That was a big plus. Im also big on bathrooms and this place has a very clean a beautiful bathroom for guests.

Came for dinner with a few friends on a Sat with 2 kids in tow. The waitress was really great answering any questions we had, and gave us a few menu reccomendations. The service all went out of there way for our kids. They brought white rice and pain avocado for them without being asked. Super thoughtful. We really had a great time, a WI absolutely come again.

This is one of our favorite places in Walnut Creek. The food is excellent at this sushi fusion joint. Also, the cocktails are great. This is another fun place to sit at the bar and eat (full menu available at the bar!). The bartenders are very friendly and fun and willing to experiment with new drinks for you.

Interesting cocktail list, astonishingly high prices...while the presentation of the food was incredible, the food itself was unimpressive. California rolls made with real crab were delicious, while the age-tofu was the worst Ive had. Service was friendly and attentive, but fell off at the end.

The food here is fine, not mind blowing, and its pretty expensive. The vibe is trendy and loungy, so I think you are paying for the vibe more than the food or service. Its Cali, so there are a lot of various sushi options to choose from

Sushi was average and definitely not worth the high price. The restaurant is nice but loud and crowded. Seems like more of a place to be seen in The WC rather than where you go for good food and a pleasant dining experience.

Food was fine, but ridiculously pricey! Come on....$5 for a hot tea? I felt ripped off. There are plenty of great places to go, with amazing food, at a reasonable price. Theres no reason to waste your money here!

Excellent service. Food was original and fresh. We had the riblets, pork belly, watermelon, and a sushi roll. I have thought the value for the price was good! Well be back!

My favorites are the Sasa Roll, Gingerade drink, and Green Tea Crème brûlée dessert. Cool atmosphere. Outdoor dining is okay, but its right next to the parking lot.

Good sushi. Not so many specialty rolls that so that its overwhelming. Definitely fresh...and a bit pricey. Liked the Sasa roll.
