Dont let the foyer and bar area trick you that youve just stumbled into your fathers Elks Lodge of days gone by. No, youre in one of the finer dining establishments that good ol Fairfield has to offer, sadly. To keep an open mind, just make sure youre seated around the corner in the dining room. I want to like this place, I sure do, but the servers keep making it difficult for me. Ive dined here three times now and my comment afterwards is always, "If they can only hire, decent, knowledgeable servers." Heck, I would forgo them asking me if I would like some fresh ground pepper they so carefully mill like the fancy restaurants, if they would just pay more attention to the little things. Im not asking for the world, just that she pause and say thank you as she drops off my check, instead of walking right by without missing a step as the bill is plopped on the table. Whats up with that M? There always seems to be an inverse relationship here between good service and the amount of people in their (rather small) dining room, so my suggestion is to get there early. Cocktails are good, there is a nice selection of bottled beer, and the food is tasty and nicely prepared. Its also easier on the wallet than that place on the Corner. My hope is that places like this succeed here, really, and not end up like most of the others in Fairfields vast culinary wasteland.

4 of us dined there Saturday 9-20-14, Salad was excellent...2 of the dinners were pretty good..2 were bad...I traded with my wife as the Risotto, with sausage, dinner was not to my satisfaction AT ALL!..She was a trooper and ate 1/2 before quitting..I took her Ravolies, and they was good, not great!..Other couple had Cantolini (spelling?) and thought it to be 7 out of 10. Last dinner (Mushroom ravioli) was rejected.-------Bread was good, we all just had water..For $97.00 it was way overpriced and not very tasty..They should visit Pasta Primavera in Pleasant Hill and copy their style..Service was excellent..I did NOT want to tell the server how I felt, as it wasnt his fault. Shame, because I was really looking forward to a good dinner with good company..2 stars is a gift! We gave it a try, wont be back. I will go to restaurants that I know are good. Dont mind the money if its worth it...

I love this place! The people who work there are so nice. My mentally handicap aunt goes there every wednesday and they make her feel like she has at least a few friends. Theyre so friendly and welcoming with her. They allow her to stay all day and just hang out if she wants to. This place reminds me of the show cheers, where everyone knows everyone and you go there for that exact reason! The food is also really tasty if youre in the mood for a good hamburger or finger food. The bartender is good too, if she doesnt know how to make something, she will learn!

One person in our party was brought the wrong wine, another was overcharged for her food even after being told ten minutes after she ordered that they didnt have the food she ordered. The champagne I ordered was flat, so obviously, it was an old bottle. Waited super long for food, and waitress had a cranky look on her face all night.

The food and service was very good. We had the chicken masala special and the Rueben pastrami sandwich for lunch. The fries with the sandwich were the best weve ever had. We could even carry on a conversation and hear each other. Very pleasant.

The guy that complained about slow service should go to McDonalds if he is in a hurry... This level of quality and OVERALL service takes a sec. Enjoy a glass of wine from an excellent selection while you wait. It will be worth it.

To sum it up in one word, Terrible! Made reservations and when we arrived, it took 5 minutes before anyone even greeted us. Then, once seated we sat at our table for 15 minutes with no service. We got up and left!

Went here for my birthday recently, good wine list, good antipasti, great dinner entrees(I had the ravioli vitello) and great desserts. I kind of like the fact that its out there in Rockville all by its lonesome.

Rockville in my experience was 42 soft drinks and a pork chop dinner and 8 pieces of ravioli cost me 60 bucks thats what I know I think its ridiculous and Im appalled

Napoletano Chef makes this a great addition to the North Bay dining scene. Very scenic ride by motorcycle or convertible.
