Update: Fri PM 4/12/14, very busy (good way) they accommodated us (2) in the wine/bar lounge quickly, the bartender was very attentive, meal was awesome, again the Shrimp appetizer was great/savory, the prime rib (last piece) was perfection, tried some new items..again excellent. I was so impressed I had to thank them with a 25%+ tip. Great job!! (BTW, I have had a chance to meet Mike the proprietor and personally congratulate him on a fine establishment, great staff) Every time I come here (4~5 Xs in last 6 months), it is a knock my socks off experience. Last night (Oct/12) we started dinner with some Cline winery ancient vine Zin and it got even better. They did not have my favorite, Drakes microbrew Iconic stout, but I soon forgot the disappointment. We had the gnocchi appetizer & pear salad (I requested they sub fetta instead of Gorgonzola, they got it right and with a smile), they must use organic because everything was like a symphony in my mouth. The bread...everything! My wife had the lamb shank, hearty, tender, memorable, she had to have me taste it....perfect for the cooler, drizzling evening outside, warmed my soul, the wine was a perfect complement. My (usually picky) daughter had Oven baked tortellini, she could not finish it and she too insisted "dad...you have to try this" with that gleam in her eyes (I made points here with my teenage daughter), it was my delight to savor the remains. I ordered the Fettuccine with smoked Salmon, (I rarely order fish, as Im tired of being disappointed, Ive almost given up on fresh fish/catch of the day) I was willing to gamble here ...my God! Smoking aces!!!! (I could not finish it, too much sampling perhaps, but made sure to take it home, my 13 yr old son raved about it at home) I was eager to try their dessert, going for a Grand Slam here...they knocked it clear out of the park...Bravissimo! I just had to go and inquire who was responsible for the masterpiece before us, every single dish was pure perfection, presentation, very hot, the aromas...mmm. A very modest Fernando was presented. I personally showed my appreciation to him and promised to write him up. Hats off to you Senor.... I have been raving about it all day at work. Im 30 miles away. Going back tonight....Yes THAT GOOD! I will make it a point to personally meet the proprietor and congratulate him, I was told he oversees every detail. In a world where complacency and mediocrity is the accepted norm, what a gem you locals have...a Culinary Paradise... I will add to my memorable places, Mi amore Tel-Aviv. Naked Fish, Boston. Anthonys, in Spokane and Seattle, Ciao in Madrid. Went back next evening...see my review on Yelp...this place rocks!

Lets just say this was not a pleasurable dining experience. The bread and water came out instantly and that was the best part of the dining experience. I always try to start out with the positives. The Bad...after 15 minutes of sitting at the counter, I had to flag down anyone so we could order a drink, granted it was busy, but waiting 20 minutes to just order a drink was a bit much. Finally, when we did order our drinks, they took about 10 minutes to come out. We were sitting at the counter and had to flag down someone to order our meal. We ordered the calamari, which from where we were sitting could see that it was up, but it sat there so long, by the time they delivered it to us, it was luke warm and greasy, we didnt even finish it. At that point I wanted to leave but we had ordered our dinner with the appetizers, I ordered the Louie Salad and my guest ordered rack of lamb. Once again, we saw our orders come out and sit, and sit, and sit, by the time we were served our dinner, once again, the rack of lamb was luke warm at best, was not seasoned, the mashed potatoes were flavorless. My guest ordered another drink, and it never came, by the time I was done with my drink, 15 minutes after she had placed her order,, we once again flagged down our waiter and ordered another round and waited about 20 minutes. Finally, I flagged down our waiter again and asked for the check and he said he was going to get our drinks, to which I responded, cancel the drinks, we would just like the check. I wanted to speak with the owner or manager regarding our experience, but just didnt want to wait any longer. I could possibly understand if we had a table and our waiter was overwhelmed, however, we were sitting where he had to pass by us all night, back and forth, how could he not once ask us how everything was and just acknowledge us? Overall, very disappointed with this experience and a waste of money!!! I dont get what all the good reviews are about, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt and just hope it was an off night for them, because the menu looked scrumptious and I had high hopes for this restaurant.

Unimpressive food, poor customer service and unapologetic for their mistakes. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. Size wise it was good, enough for the four of us to share. However, a lot of it was just excess batter with no calamari inside. Taste wise, not the best. I ordered the Kobe beef burger and it was nothing special. Came with a pickle, onions, two tomatoes, two pieces of lettuce and fries. For the price, I expected something more impressive. My friend ordered the salmon fettucine which was creamy and flavorful. So heres the bad part. My husband and my other friend both ordered the rib eye steam, both medium rare. When the server brought the dishes over, he announced it as both medium. We told him we ordered medium rare and he said oh, the ticket said medium, well, I must have read it wrong. He then gave us the steaks and just left without saying anything else. When we cut it open, it was obviously medium. We tell our waitress that we ordered medium rare and we got medium and she said yea, I ordered medium rare for you. We show her the meat and she offers to get us new ones. However, since two of us already got our dishes, if we waited for them to redo the steaks, our food would be cold or we would have to eat first. So my friend asked what do they do with the steak if we dont eat it. The server says they just toss it. So in an effort not to be wasteful, my friend says she will just eat it but noted that it was still not what she ordered. My husband waited to have his redone so basically sat there waiting while we all ate which obviously made him and all of us uncomfortable. When the server brought out the medium rare steak for my husband, he didnt apologize and just plopped down the plate and left. Throughout the night, no one came to apologize for giving us the wrong steak and having us wait for it to be redone. Not the server, not the waitress, not the manager. They didnt offer to comp us anything, not a wine, not a dessert, nothing. Considering that this is not a cheap place, I would have expected more. At least an apology and admission would have been nice.

DONT GO! Where do I begin. First I went with a group and someone ordered a glass of wine. We liked it and wanted to order the rest of the bottle but they said they will charge us for a bottle and the glass they already poured even though it was from the same bottle were buying. Next the food took so long, nearly an hour, to come out. I ordered the shirt ribs which came as the pieces. Two out of the three pieces was cold and the last piece was dried. The pieces in my plate was not cooked at the same time and two thirds must have been cooked early and got cold while cooking the rest when all should have been cooked at the same time. I told the waiter about this and all they did was apologize. Although I did not ask for the meal to be removed off the bill common logic would to not charge the customer when you bring the food out cold. All I can say is doing go. OK food but terrible service.
