This seafood stop offers a variety of shellfish and bivalves (we stopped to think how many little lives were lost for our meal by counting the heads!) which you order by the pound. Some prices are market priced some are fixed. The crawfish at the time was $10 a pound, same as the shrimp. Both were amazing! I got the Asian style sauce for the crawfish and the butter garlic sauce for the shrimp. You can order on a scale up to five, with five being the hottest. Now I know why they had the firemen outfits, to put out the fire in your mouth! I got level 2, which was perfect. Also ordered the Cajun garlic fries and an order of plain fries to sop up the sauce with. That sauce is to die for. In fact, I asked the waitress to pack it up and we used it on some prawns that we had waiting at home. It was like having Firehouse Crawfish again! On one wall, you have bench seating and then tables and chairs throughout the restaurant. Paper toppers cover tables, for obvious reasons, and you are given a bib, tons of napkins and a bucket to put all your shells in. Those crawfish dont yield up tons of meat for all the work you put into them, but Im glad I tried them. Next time Im sticking to the shrimp and possibly try out the oysters! Our waitress couldnt believe it when I said Id never shelled one of those creatures before. She gave a tutorial and then stayed around to make sure we did it right. Peel off the head (sucking with tongue is optional), peel off part of body, grasp body, twist tail, pull out yucky intestines with tail meat, get tail meat, dip into sauce and voila!

Really delicious. My wife requests special trips to Sacramento just for their meals. They have a variety of spice levels (degrees) and flavors for their crawfish, shrimp and crab. Their thick spice flavor which is garlic, butter, Cajun and spices is our personal favorite. Paired with the medium with a kick level (degree), it is absolutely fantastic. Majority of the prices are based on market price, so make sure to check the walls to see the prices for the day. Crawfish may be a step on the wildside for some, but it is really just a small lobster in my book. Pull the tail off, duck the juice from the top half to really get a strong feel of the flavor then break apart the bottom with the given tools for the meat. Be prepare to use your fingers. The plastic bibs they provide are decent, but you still need to watch your clothes and wipe your fingers frequently. Also, the King Crab is very flexible and has a lot of sharpness, so be careful when trying to Crack them open.

They food was horrible Im almost positive I have food poisoning! I will never go there again! Chicken wings were very salty ! Cajun shrimp with rice was so gross ! the shrimp was dry and rubbery and my rice tasted like they made it in a fish sauce it was disgusting ! Boiling crab is 150% better never again will we go back to the firehouse crawfish on 65th or any other location for that matter! I took seriously 2 bites of my food and felt sick to my stomach and couldnt eat anything else they removed it from our bill and asked if I wanted something different but after that experience I didnt want anything else from there! Im sticking with my BOILING CRAB !! I should have stuck with my instinct after reading the bad experience reviews online!

Ok the food was great and plenty of it. My only complaint was the way they do their service. We ordered clam chowder and Cajon Garlic fries(they are to die for). Plus the most expensive plate, lobster crab, shrimp, corn and sausage. They brought out the fries first then 1 cup of clam chowder and then immediately the dinner. Then 5 minutes later came out the 2nd cup of clam chowder. Kind of screwed us up as far as the order. We got number 2 for spicey and its plenty unless you are daring. It was really enough food for 3 people so plan whats best for you. I would go again.

I loved my meal. 1 lb of shrimp with the "everything" sauce (loads of lemon grass, ginger, garlic, galanga, lime juice and chiles), spice level 2 - Ill go to 3 next time ... cooked perfectly, nice fresh shrimp with lots of meat. Good service, fast, decent prices given the quality and amount of food. The restaurant is super clean and pleasant, the staff are really friendly and fast and competent. Great place with kids, too, btw - our daughter loved her food and eating with her hands. Ill definitely be back!

I absolutely love this restaurant! Ive been going here for about 2 years now and Ive loved every experience! The staff is kind and always works well and efficiently. If ever theres an issue with an order they fix it right away no questions asked. The people who go here expect Southern style Cajun food....but its Asian Cajun so its different. It tastes excellent! Love this place I go as often as possible. Would definitely recommend to anyone! :) ♡

Hate the line at Boiling Crab? This place is the solution. I like Cajun style seafood, so I started to find alternatives when I saw the long line at Boiling Crab. We got seated quickly on a long weekend dinner time, but less people does not mean less quality. The quality and taste of the food is just same as Boiling Crab, and cheaper too! Now, Ill definitely choose this place for Cajun style seafood.

I definitely bring my family here for the Shrimp and Crawfish. The boil sauces with names like Fusion and Explosion are unique and delicious. Sometimes theres a wait for a table, sometimes we get seated right away. The service has always been attentive and never in the way of our meal, with the crew working hard to make us happy. You WILL get messy, but its SO worth it!

I dont usually give reviews on places but.... This places is amazing. Great food and customer service. The seating is nice and the booths are very spacious. Im a big lover a sea food and love Joes crab shack, but this place has them beat and is a new favorite spot of mine. Will definitely be returning.

First time and was super impressed. Great food, had fun eating on the paper right on the table. So much flavor! Mango Margarita with a chile rim is a must try. Lobster mix, crawdads, crab legs, and saucy corn on the cob. Every bite was savory and staff was super friendly and attentive. Well be back!

First time there, crab was steamed to long that it made it dry. My garlic noodles was good but hella dry, to the point they had to give me a bowl of butter smh. Oh bread was hard to. Probably be back with instructions next time, being in the food industry myself.
