Well he came down to earth and he lit in a tree I said "Mr. Purple People Eater, dont eat me" I heard him say in a voice so gruff. Well, bless my soul, rock n roll, flyin purple people eater Pigeon-toed, under-growed, flyin purple people eater (We wear short-shorts) Friendly little people eater What a sight to see (Oooh). And then he swung from the tree and he lit on the ground And he started to rock, really rockin around It was a crazy ditty with a swingin tune Singin bop boop aboopa lopa lum bam boom!

We got take out Reubens-2 orders. I called at 11:20 and was told they dont start lunch until 11:30, but could pick them up at 11:45. (Not sure why they couldnt make them 10 minutes sooner, but ok.) When we got them, one was burnt on one side, overgrilled. The other was barely toasted at all. Very inconsistent. There wasnt as much saurkraut as I did have liked either. They were expensive ($27 for the 2) and disappointing. Weve had other positive experiences there too, but this one was not good.

After coming here for years its lacking good food. They dont serve breakfast burritos on the weekend due to the need to "push the cheaper items for bottom line" "its a business decision"-pp staff member. Honestly charge more but seriously you wont sell good food for business reasons?! From now on you will see me driving by going somewhere else like Bella B in EDH or Sutter Street. Im done with omlettes, pankcakes and waffles. This place is bar food nothing more.

We love the Purple Place. Quality of food and service is excellent! Just one disappointment on July 5th, 2017. We visited for our favorite spinach salad only to see the serving size was much smaller than a month ago. Adding strawberries for summer was a nice a touch but not the same spinach salad with several ingredients and size of bowl much smaller. We will be back!

This is a great place for happy hour if you and your friends live in the Folsom area. The atmosphere is a little divey, and the regulars prefer flannel, which makes sense for the area and is a breath of fresh air when comparing it to the suit and tie midtown bars. Yes, the parking looks weird, but rest assure that your car is parked properly if youre following others

Hometown feel, great place for breakfast, but delicious food any time of the day. I do really like their burgers! Sometimes the restaurant area is closed and customers are directed to sit in the bar area. Friendly service and if youre not in a rush, this is a good place to eat with friends and family.

Spinach salad with strawberries, cashews, cheese, red onions, grilled chicken and balsamic was delicious. Server was super friendly and efficient. We love to go here for breakfasts and now consider it a good option for dinner as well.

Amazing! Great vibe , great food, dog friendly! Corned beef hash with bloody Mary so yummy! My hubby had best eggs benedict ever, and we even ordered for our dogs off the dog menu! Cant say enough about how great our experience was.

I went there three weeks ago and had excellent half rack of ribs. Went back tonight and was told they have a new chef. Ribs had half the meat on them, the sauce was barely there at all. You lost a good chef and a good customer.

Downhill since the new managers; the food is terrible and over priced since the new chef. Bartender was combative when I asked for extra bbq sauce and then over charged for the drink....last time I go here, what a shame.

The place has friendly help. This place use to be better I thought. I loved red-skin potatoes. No more. Deep fry just like brookfields. Places need to quit being in such a hurry and think about what they are serving.

Great place for breakfast on the weekends. Starts to get crowded about 9 AM. The friendly service has always been good. The wide variety of breakfast food is great. I have never had a dish here I didnt like.

Purple Place is my go to for a decent hearty breakfast. There will always be a wait on the weekends but it is worth it. The Bloody Mary here is delicious and the homemade biscuits and gravy are to die for.

Great food, most of the time! Sometimes the kitchen seems to be having an "off" day, but usually excellent. The restaurant side is Extremely noisy, so be prepared conversation can be difficult.

My husband and I come here usually every weekend. The servers are always quick and nice. Careful those nice beautiful days lead to high crowds. Another perk DOGS are allowed on patio area.
