I understand it is difficult to find a table in Folsom in a good place on a Saturday night but after calling around and talking to someone at Back Wine Bar & Bistro I was told I can get a table to come a celebrate my birthday with some friends, I told the guy on the phone it will be our first experience in with them and was promised a great service and a fun evening. I made the reservation and notified my friends to meet there. We arrived at the restaurant and was escorted to a tiny table in the back, that was barely big enough for 2 people. When I explained that I made reservations for 3 people I was told that this is not what they heard on the phone and so dont have a table that is big enough, but had a great idea of adding another chair to the tiny table ???, when I asked him if we were supposed to take turns eating dinner, he had an annoyed look on his face. without even a real sincere apology for the mistake and the outcome, I was turned away to look for an alternative on a Saturday night and they didnt seem to care much just because they were full that night. My friends and I were very disappointed with the level of customer service, or lack of.

This place was awesome. The waiter, Tomas was excellent. He made it a great experience. You can really tell he has a passion for food and red wines. The food and especially the dessert was beautifully presented. It would be great for a relaxing date, a small group, or an afternoon glass of wine.

This is a nice place to meet, eat, and do business. I stopped in one afternoon to avoid the traffic and rainy weather. The appetizers are tasty. At the time, the Bistro was under construction. It will be great for families, too. Its a unique venue for the area. Andrew

One of the best places to dine in all of the Sacramento area. The food is wonderful. Love the wine selection. Love the outside seating. The only negative is that its on the expensive side, especially for the portions.

Good spot. Pricey. "Loaded Baked Potato" $11.00. Short Ribs $29.00. If you have money, try it. Good service, although the waiter needs to smile.
