The worst worst worst management I have ever met.. Though I knew food here is worst, I went there to book this Banquet hall as its close to my place and all my friends place such that no one will skip my party because of the distance. I booked the banquet hall and gave an advance of $200 around two months prior to the event and signed the contract form too, but when we went there to plan for decoration before a week of the event they say that they gave it to some others who have more than 100 people where as ours is only 40 .They did not even inform us that they gave to some others. We came to know that only when we asked them ,Instead of feeling sorry they told us to do party in restaurant area or prepone or postpone the event or cancel the booking by just returning our money back. I didnt understand the purpose of prior booking and signing a contract, No one in this world would do such thing, what would happen if I knew about this on the same day of my party. I was very much embarrassed we sent invitations to every one and we had to change the venue because of these people. Neither me nor my friends would never step into this restaurant. Hope this will be helpful for any one who is planning for an event at this place .Think thousand times before you book this. Event though you booked for 100 people they will book for another group who has more than 100 people with out even informing you. Even my friends have very bad experiences with them. I gave one star only because google is not allowing me to post this review unless I select a star else zero star. Thanks, Sudheer.

I was visiting my family and friends in diamond bar area. My friends and cousins were debating which Indian restaurant should be go to, so we start reviewing the different restaurants. We read the reviews and felt not very comfortable to go to this place at first. As people always say every golden shining is not real gold so we went to just check on the reviews if its not worth or what? Honestly, we didnt see what we were reading. Staff is so friendly and make sure we were not discomfort at all. We didnt have to wait for the food very long but as we know good stuff takes time. Waitress bring the food very hot which always matters for all of us. Samosas and Veggie pakoras are very delicious. We order variety of food which includes Garlic naan, dal makhni , Shahi Paneer, goat curry and chilli chicken and i have no words how delicious was it. Everybody was happy with the service and food. Next time, we are hitting the restaurant again and cant wait when will that happen.

I swear that this bad review is warranted. I LOVE Indian food, its absolutely delicious! Peacock Gardens has increased their prices since the last year and the food quality has dimmed. Their Mutar Paneer and Makhni Chicken tastes more like a full can of tomato sauce with too much salt. As of 2006 - the buffet has risen from $7.95 a person to $10.95 a person. They say because they have added champagne to the menu. Well, what if I just drink water with my meal?? I still have to pay extra!!! The owner, his name is Raju, was overtly rude because we werent used to the new taste of their food. So, we asked him questions about it. Like- if the recipes have changed. There was barely anybody in the restaurant, so we know no customers overheard us. Yet, he became irate and told us to "show some manners towards the cooks." All we did was ask about the recipe, and now we have no manners?!? All in all, worst dinner experience of our lives!

A decent Indian place in Diamond Bar which has been around since I was a little kid. Historically Ive been here for the weekend AYCE buffets. Our party of 4 stopped by on a Saturday night for dinner. The dining area is surprisingly small but theres a huge banquet hall in the next room which are typically used for weddings. The food is always decent (3/5) but it never comes across as amazing/awesome. For dinner, prices are about $11-$12 per curry dish (lamb, chicken tiki masala) which are served a la cart. Me and our party also split a samosa, garlic naan, and raita (yogurt w/ cucumbers) and an order of rice. All of the food above was okay.

I had the worst experience in my life instead of having buffet lunch because of the manager and the waiter. They were horrible people dealing with some conflict their customers have. Not only the waiter called my mom rude but also the manager walk away while Im speaking to him. How come he is the manager and is not hearing his customers problem. as an advice there are lots of Indian food in Artesia that worth a lot to try out than this one.

I went to the lunch buffet on a Tuesday. I love Indian food and I have gone to plenty of buffets. I was pleasantly surprised by this one because they did not have the same dishes you always see. All of the dishes tasted great and they were not too extreme. The curry goat was awesome because it was not full of bones their was good tender meat! I will definetly be back.

They come by and ask fi everything is tasting well and if you need something else. The ambiance really calm with Indian music playing in he background..Would totally recommend this place

The food was good and the waiter was nice. But they were severely understaffed when we went. They were hosting a graduation party and keeping the restaurant open, and it appeared that our server was the only one working the restaurant. A couple people left before being served. But we are willing to go again on a less busy night.

I have known the Owner, Raj, for over a decade now. He is very kind and generous person. I have always received exceptional service whenever I am there for either Lunch or Dinner. Shashi is also another person who always takes care of us well ...Great food and service!

Food was extremely bad. The owner raju was showing a lot of attitude. I also heard these guys have a bad reputation in California. They rip everyone off and need a punch in the face. They should focus on making proper food and their manners. Pathetic people !

This place has a delicious lunch buffet, probably the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend it if you love East Indian food and are in the Diamond Bar area. They are kind of tucked away however it is well worth the search! Lorenzo, M.
