Seeing a little German in Lederhosen at entry was quite unexpected as we walked into Curry India Bistro. Modern aesthetics dominate this location--- enough to captivate even a grumpy reviewer. We were greeted by smiling owners and passed a wall of recognition (left) for excellence in cuisine and after we sat at table by the window. Inside restaurant delightful smells of aromatic cardamom, Ceylon cinnamon and Meyer lemon enticed us to partake in East Indian cuisine. Chicken Tikka is uniquely marinated ---could not get their special secret ingredient despite my questioning. Chicken 555 is superb! This handcrafted dish is offered in bite sized morsels packed with proprietary spice yet mild enough for (no hot spices allowed) patrons. Palak Paneer is delicious---orchestrated in-house---and favorite of mine with cheese cubes made by hand. On weekends try Pistachio and Mango Kulfi ice cream (not from a container) its divine like the family running Curry India Bistro---see photos. Buffet allows you to take a box home (for family or a meal later). Had an epiphany upon return from Canada (Indian food heaven) East Indian cuisine---when made well, served with gratitude by a connected family---can be addictive. A certain longing is present for seeing Jay and his family again (apologies are in order as I have been most busy during my educational break). I appreciate your kindness and patience. Upon my return it will be my third visit. Highest rating for East Indian food in my book. Curry India Bistro is definite place to try and frequent often.

Went there to eat with family & guests. The lousiest Indian food I ever ate in the entire life with lousiest service. We got naans after we almost finish our food. Half the things were not at buffet table & cold. I usually eat Indian food 2-3 times a week in Indian restaurants with friends or family. This was my first time at this place. I was very disappointed with their Indian food taste, quality, quantity, service & outrage prices. In Indian restaurant there is no Indian sweet instead of sweet, their was lousy coconut putting only. 11 people buffets with service charge was $ 277.01. I wish I can attached the receipt here. I am a well known person in my Indian community with hundreds followers...! Dont want to come to this place again for Indian Food. My first time was my last time. I love to rate them -5 stars.

Watch out for 2 things here. 1. They charge 10%+ sales tax in Diamond Bar (I was like WHAT?). I called them up to ask them why that was the case, they told me it was programed in their computer probably in error, and will consult with their technical person and get back to me. However, they never did. 2. They charge 18% gratuity for a party of X number. The reason why I said X number because we didnt know. We had a party of 8, 7 adults and 1 child, they charged us 18% gratuity without letting us know in advance. It would have been nice if they at least told us about their 18% gratuity policy. I understand if Universal Hilton charges 18% for a large party, but not a local Indian restaurant at lunch time. (PS: its lunch buffet) Food was alright. Decor was nice.

I have no shame. I licked my plate-- tongue on porcelain, wishing it would never end. I got my food to go which usually doesnt give you the full experience as the food cools down a bit but after my ten min drive my food was still hot upon arrival. I got the butter chicken box and lentil yellow curry with garlic naan-- YUM! The flavors were just amazing I didnt want to stop eating! It tasted fresh and most important to me non-greasy. Great customer service too I rarely tip for pick up orders but the guy at the front was so pleasant! I will definitely be back! The only reason I didnt give it four stars is simply because I want to try more food before giving it the ultimate rating! Update soon to come!

The food is good and the ambience is nicer when compared to most other Indian restaurants. If you like variety in an Indian buffet, then there is a good chance that you will like this place. Apart from the regular chicken and rice dishes that you will find at other Indian buffet restaurants, these guys also have a few additional choices with soups, icecreams and bread pudding for dessert, and a mango drink (didnt try it but looked like a watered down mango lassi) . Food is flavorful, but it does get a little overwhelming after the first few bites. The price of a lunch buffet is a little higher than most other places, but the variety of dishes available justifies the little extra.

This place is awesome! the interior was very classy and it looks like an upscale Indian restaurant! Definitely get the mango lassi it was a nice sweet icy mango smoothie! it was so good! And go for the Bistro tandoori platter! the meats were all so delicious and flavorful and this time i decided to try something that Ive never tried before and it is Rava Dosa. Which is a huge long crepe filled with some paste and it definitely requires a change of taste and you dip it with different kinds of sauce! The service was great and the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! definitely will be coming back for lunch very soon (:

Curry is our go-to place to eat in OC. Love their food !! We love their buffet, a la Carte and recently we catered from them too. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Some of my favorites are the baingan bharta and garlic chicken kabab. This is a place where you actually find minced garlic on the garlic naan. Another plus is that along with their North Indian food, their Indo-chinese (manchurian) and South Indian food is great too. They try to mix their desserts which is always awesome !! Highly highly recommend

It is always delicious and I can expect five star hospitality every time. Its really nice to eat in an environment that makes me comfortable and welcome. Always a pleasure! Not to mention this is some of the best Indian food that I have found and at such a good price too. First steps in the door you may think it will be 25-30 bucks a plate, but nope! Reasonable prices with very high quality food. Love it :)

Been here before, the dishes on the menu are excellent, but was fortunate enough to try the buffet this time and was not disappointed!! Delicious, fresh, diverse selection, a good mix of both vegetarian and meat entrees and appetizers, and of course the naan is heavenly. Will definitely be back once again, highly recommended.

I have eaten there twice, and today I introduced my boss to the experience. The ambiance is outstanding and the Chicken Vindaloo was the absolute best. If you are feeling adventurous judge for yourself, dont be swayed by a tainted opinion, you wont regret it.

I went there for dinner with my CPA. It was clean, refreshing décor for an Indian restaurant in Diamond Bar. Above all, the food is delicious. Being of Indian descent, I was surprised at the care and detail given the cuisine and service.
