Manna is decent but pretty overpriced Korean that is the main option in Davis for authentic KBBQ and other korean dishes. They have appetizers ranging from $10-15 and all the traditional Korean goodies such as tofu soup, rice cakes, kimchi fried rice, and also Korean BBQ dishes that they help cook for you on the stove. The tofu soup was pretty satisfying, I ordered it with pork and there were only a few pieces of pork belly though. The KBBQ here is decent but really expensive, like two pieces of galbi for $20-30 is pretty ridiculous. I would only come here for tofu soup, rick cakes, or the kimchi fried rice and even the meat combos are rather pricey. The servers are nice and the place is mostly filled with Chinese students and other Davis townies. I actually prefer the food and ambiance at Tako more- although if youre willing to pay for more authentic Manna is where you should go.

모든 음식이 다 맛있습니다. 짜장면, 두부찌게, 순두부, 탕수육, 육개장, 제육김치볶음.... 뭐 하나 빠지는 메뉴가 없네요... 주인도 마음이 따뜻한 것 같습니다~!!^^ 외국에 살아도 한국음식 맘껏 먹을 수 있을 것 같아요. 모든 메뉴가 한국에 있는 왠만한 음식점 보다 낫습니다~!!^^

My husband and I went to this place because the website said it closes at 10pm. We arrived in June 23, 2017 at 9:30pm and all chairs were already up on the tables and we were told (in between laughs) by the 2 waiters they were already closed. We replied saying the sign on the door says they CLOSE at 10pm, but the response was also laughs. Its a clear combination of managements incompetence on letting 2 boys running their business, only thinking about closing earlier to enjoy a Friday night.

The stone bowl bibimbop is the greatest thing imaginable. I imagined it once and was disappointed by the experience. Then I ordered it again and it was like the opposite of the Great Gatsby. Instead of disillusionment and ennui, I was faced with a burst of flavor and joy that exceeded my memory. The grill foods are magic. If you want to treat yourself of visitors to the best Korean food in town, or one of the best dinners in town period--come here.

We were looking for lunch and stumbled across Manna. We are fans of Bi bim bop, but also needed food for our kids. They made a bowl of plain udon noodles for our kids, even though it was not on the menu. We ordered the heated stone bowl of bi-bim-bop and got a side dish of kim-chee. Food was great and the prices are reasonable. I am not sure there is much else for this kind of food in the vicinity.

As an individual who has actually been to Korea and eaten actual Korean food this place is pretty spot on for the one time i had been there. Their kimchi was not as delicious as I remember but that could just be because of their process for making it, or maybe it was just a little old or too new! But none the less, the staff was amazing, food was delicious, and service was prompt!

Bulgolgi is The Dish to try if you are ever in SK. I am never there so instead I ordered Beef Bulgolgi @ Manna. Lived up to the hype and is enough for me to write about it! Oh man was it tasty! Just perfectly marinated and prepared. The service was very polite and restaurant is nicely updated, they have a special hot pot area. Definitely a good place to explore Korean cuisine.

Manna is a very casual Korean restaurant near the UC Davis campus. I had the kimchee jjigae, which was not entirely traditional in preparation. It had very small pieces of meat, and a relatively scarce amount of tofu. But nonetheless, tasty.

Nothing great. The food is ok. The waitress seemed to not know how to provide service. .. but the staff tried hard and they were friendly... And it is the only Korean restaurant in downtown Davis...
