Another popular food chain opened in downtown Sacramento. I met up my girl friend here for lunch. She had chicken salad and I ordered Jive turkey sandwich. Inside its big and spacious. I like the ceiling roof, the big whiskey bar area, TV in every corner. Definitely a place for a hang out for boys during game season. And perfect spot to stop after any shows or games at the Golden center. The restroom ran out of tissue paper. My friend informed the staff but they failed to refill. After an hour when I went back still no tissue paper in the bathroom. Definitely not taking customers complains seriously. The menu is same as dinner menu. They dont have small lunch portion. Food here is very expensive and expect big plates to share with your friends. This place is popular for burn ends. Not my thing....I think it will cause cancer eating burnt food. A great place for meat eaters. If you only like to eat meat then go here... Overall service was slow for lunch hour on Tuesday. But the restaurant was quite busy. Ill salute the staffs for being kind in giving water to the homeless in this extreme heat. Thank you!!!! I was happy to see good deed.

We started with an hour and a half wait due to a concert the night we went. I cant really hold this against a place but I want to include it so readers can plan for this if you dont start with a reservation. There is a pretty casual atmosphere and it will feel quite crowded on any night with an event at the stadium. The crowd lends to perhaps my biggest complaint. The decor is rustic (fine in itself) but every surface in the dining room is a hard reflective surface and the clamor from the people gets uncomfortablly shrill. Even the normal acoustic drop ceiling tiles are instead hard metal sound reflecting sheets. The food is quite good, but true BBQ fans (especially from the South) may find they still prefer their familiar places. The service was decent but you could sense they were starting to be fatigued from the huge amount of business theyd churned through. There is a pretty extensive beer selection, however despite having a full bar I was disappointed with the Scotch selection. Overall I left stuffed and missed out on the "Burnt Ends" I hoped to try due to limited quantities.

I visited for the first time today at lunch time. We ordered the combo plate with chili cheese fries and Mac n cheese. The bbq sauce options were awesome, I loved the mustard one. The meat was good and had a visible smoke ring. The chilli fries were ok but the fries were kids dense and not crunchy. The mac and cheese tasted ok but the cheese was seperating so it was oily. We also ordered drinks. The strawberry mint cocktail tasted amazing! And the mango jalapeno was very good. The drinks were like 12 dollars each but everyone agreed that the alcohol content was so low, I wasnt even sure if there was vodka in mine. All in all the food was ok/good. However I much prefer tank house to sauced.

Went here for my birthday, got the mexicali burger (without the jalapenos) and got the fries with the house rub. Easily one of the best burgers Ive ever had. Since it was my birthday, I received their birthday dessert which was some vanilla ice cream and 3 deep fried oreos, the best free birthday dessert Ive ever had at a sit down restaurant. I didnt have to pay for my meal, my sister and her boyfriend paid for all of our food, so I cant comment on the overall cost, but the prices on the menu didnt look outrageously high, well worth it. The only thing I didnt like was the porter they had on tap, wasnt very good. Other than that, our server was nice, overall good experience.

Ive been here twice, once in April, and again today. Both times, the service was terrible, getting another beer or water refilled is nearly impossible. We left after one because our glasses sat empty for over 15 minutes after multiple attempts to flag down the server. Food is okay, but for the high price, its mediocre at best. Good beer selection, but they clearly dont maintain their beer lines, as there are many unusual off flavors in the beers they serve, Im a beer judge and know a thing or two about beer, this is not some laymans opinion. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Had lunch here on 2/2/17. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and delicious. The 3 stars is because of the prices and loudness of the restaurant. $19.00 for a loaded baked sweet potato is insane as well as $33.00 for a full rack of ribs. Also, Sauced needs to have a lunch menu with smaller portions and prices. It seems this restaurant is counting on events at the Golden One Center to sustain the business. The reality is there are not events daily at Golden One. Lunch time diners are city, county, and state workers.

Real busy bbq place with a full bar of artisan cocktails. Right next to golden 1 center. Pretty expensive even though it was happy hour . The happy hour bbq brisket quesadilla was 3 small pieces and a bit spicy for me. But the drink was spectacular it was an orange and rum drink. By 6 pm on a weeknight the place was packed. Probably due to basketball game next door. I would go back but check golden 1 schedule first. Parking is a nightmare.

We went here for St Patricks day and it was a mad house. I have to say they handled it all very well though. Xavian was a great server and handled the chaos perfectly. Ive visited the Sauced in Livermore, and I think that one is a bit better quality, but Sauced Sacramento is in an ideal location to grab a few bites and drinks before heading into the arena. Definitely try the burnt ends if they are available, you dont usually get those just anywhere.

This is definitely the best BBQ place in Sac right now! The brisket nachos are to die for. Its huge p0rtion is jus right for 2 people. They have the best mango jalapeño Moscow mule and they have 40 different beers and have 25 flat screens so you dont miss a game. The menu has a big variety so bring your BBQ cravings here youll be thankful you did! Beware prices arent cheap!

I was a little skeptical about this place since its new! Barbecue is a hit or miss now days, but I must admit that this place is on point!!! Some of the best BBQ I have had in some time.... I tried almost everything on the BBQ menu and everything was flavorful and well seasoned... smoked to perfection! I recommend this place to anyone seeking good BBQ

The food was really good. Their burnt tips are definitely one of the best in the area. Their Mac n cheese was delicious. Many many beers available which is awesome. Only thing that would keep it from a 5 is the service was a bit slow for the amount of people in there. Like they forgot to bring my drink after skiing twice and it came after the food.

All show, no go. Its the plague of the chain bbq restaurant. They simply cannot deliver. Their methods are designed for mass production and maximum profit and BBQ simply cannot fit that model. The BBQ items were wholly disappointing. Meat was either tough or dry. Ill never go back for BBQ but I might go back for a burger.
