The food here is pretty good. They have a great selection of burgers. Fresh and juicy meat and grilled just to the point. They also have a couple of healthy options like the fresh salmon that comes without carbs as they serve it on a fresh and lightly seasoned salad. My tip: try the brussel sprouts as a starter. They come in a sweet and spicy sauce - its really different and very unique, something you dont eat every day. I also love their outdoor seating. Its quiet and romantic and the hearing lamps keep you warm even during winter months. The main issue with this place is the service. The service is somewhat ok if you sit inside. When you get one of the tables outside you are apparently really low priority. This starts with the wait time until someone comes and takes your order and continues with no one checking in at all when the main comes out. I also wait here forever to get the check and handing over my card. Service basically doesnt exist and no one seems to care really. I lowered my expectations for great service in San Jose in the last years already, but this place is certainly the worse when it comes to service. The manager trys his best to make up for it and is really friendly, I wish his staff can learn from him.

Our server was great. The food was acceptable. The fact that we had to wait an hour between the order and being told it would be "probably 30 more minutes" to get our food due to "a computer issue weve never had before" was irritating. The fact that the bar staff and wait staff seemed to have no issue using the computers was a bit confusing, but the manager on duty told us theyd take care of some of our meals if we just let him check the order status on the computers he claimed were down moments before. The food did eventually show up. The comps we were told wed receive did not. I dont normally rant and rave about treatment at restaurants. I know its not an easy job and you have to deal with annoying, demanding customers. What is 100% unacceptable is straight up lying. If youre understaffed and busy, I get that. It happens. Dont tell me you have non-existent computer issues, offer me comps, and fail to provide them. Im sure some middle management drone is going to comment here offering to "make it right" - you had your opportunity to make it right tonight, and failed dismally.

Im not against Eurekas food or drink usually but the service here at this location was terrible. We came with a party of six and despite the fact that our server wrote all of our food and drink orders down, somehow there was still confusion about what we wanted. I had to ask our server on three separate occasions for one drink. Ten minutes after our order was taken, she came back out and asked us to repeat basically our entire order. All of our food came out at separate times, in my friends case, somehow his burger arrived without fries even though the rest of us all received them at the same time. Despite the fact that our food was arriving separately (presumably to make sure it was hot) all of our food was cold and my burger arrived fairly raw for a medium burger. The best I can offer is that our waitress was apologetic about everything, but apologies only go so far. If you like Eureka, go to a different one.

Tasty! Quick! Attentive! Inventive! Egg! Delicioius! Flavorful! Business lunches are great for trying out something new. We arrived at opening and were quickly seated outside. Our waiter was nicely attentive and brought new iced teas at the moment ours were drained. The Cheese and Mac balls were inventive and fun to eat. I dont know that the dipping sauce added much but I really liked the crispy crunch of biting into the perfectly fried crust. Well executed and definitely worth ordering. I loved a fried egg on everything; so, I was immediately tempted by the Jalapeno burger with a fried egg. I dont recall anything being spicy but loved the gooey fried egg. I would have liked 2 eggs; maybe a poached one to dip into instead of ketchup. The side of friess were pedestrian and standard. They were a nice snack as I digested the burger. A nice lunch and definitely worth another visit.

A lot of hits with some misses. Ordered the burger medium, and it came out perfectly medium! The sweet potato fries that I paid $2 surcharge for were soggy though. Wings were expensive ($12) but you can tell they care about the quality of execution: Chicken wings were moist and done to order, the carrot and celery sticks were similarly moist and not dried up nor rubbery. I appreciate the attention to details when the menu is as simple as it is. There were 3 drink menus and only one food menu :) Happy Hour 2-6pm. Beer flight $9. Whiskey flight $22. Drink selection is all American but in case you want to bring something different, corkage is a reasonable $10. They have a patio that I assume is dog friendly as there is a doggie water bowl. Good music, good ambiance, large selection of beer on tap. I can imagine this to be a popular place for happy hour or for large groups.

The burgers are tasty. But the fries were soggy and stale and all around flavorless. Might have been because we went at three in the afternoon? But it was also Saturday...and they do advertise "happy hour"...so Im not sure what to think. Service was definitely slow, incredibly slow, had to flag down a waiter to order food slow. Bone Marrow Burger $17 - Super deliciously fatty...like dripping everywhere fatty. Use that bun to soak up all the fat! Cowboy Burger $12.5 - I wasnt too much a fan of the sauce (bbq?) but fried onion strings are always the best. That said, the burgers werent worth the cost. I could get 10 double-doubles at In-n-Out for the same price!! Even Super Duper Burger is only half the price. Probably wont be coming back, but it was worth trying out once.

Great food, great service! Took my there daughters there for a birthday dinner. Love the look of the place, visually interesting and casual. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Our server was very knowledgeable about the cocktails and food, suggesting the Mint Julep (delicious and strong) as well as the Corn Dog Lollipops (made with Polish sausage). Our burgers were done exactly as ordered, mine medium rare and my daughters well. The Fresno Fig may be my new all time favorite burger. Rich and delicious, I put half in a to go box and enjoyed it for lunch the next day! My daughters ordered the Cowboy Burger, Lobster Tacos and the Fried Chicken Sliders. Pros of being Mom, I et to taste, of course I also get to pay. Worth every penny!!!

I visit many places in town with my family and I took my wife to this new Gem in Cupertino on my B-day, I am so glad I did! Great craft beers, lots of great whiskey selection they were out of my favorite Papi Van winkle but regardless AWESOME hospitality by Ashley she was knowledgeable and super cool and my hats of to the chef food was A1, reminded me a lot of the vibe I get in my favorite Italian restaurant in Palo Alto Delfinas, people are cool, food is awesome and the hospitality of Eurekas team is world class, I am already planning my next Thursday outing with my Kids and wifey again and it will be here again, I invite you all to come and see it first hand.
