Terrible Service! Dont go here! During the Freemont Fair event, and after waiting for over an hour for my food order, I asked the bartender how much longer it would be until my order would arrive. He looked at the ticket and said, "They didnt make your order." No apology. No explanation. Then he said, "Do you still want it?" I said that I did. I waited another 45 minutes and the food finally arrived. I asked if the meal or a drink would be comped. I was never given an answer, just handed the check. In total, I waited over two hours for a mediocre cheeseburger. I understand it was Summer Solstice and they were very busy, but a simple apology and free drink would have sufficed.

I just had a very discriminating experience in this location. Being an international resident I walk around with an international drivers license that enables me to rent a car, walk into bars and rent a house. But for Pacific inn, a FISH AND CHIPS PLACE I was carded and denied entrance. Not only that the "secrurity" person was rude, spoke to me in a demining manner and humiliated me in front of others. Also claiming that he cant read my drivers license (its in english). This is a horrible way to treat people and you juat lost the group of ten people that were with me and everyone I know!

The place was dirty and grungy (but it is a dive bar so no biggie). The problem was the bartender, the guy was so unbelievably rude and sarcastic, I have no idea how a business stays open like that if thats how they speak to patrons. It was completely unprovoked too, we asked what kind of drinks they recommended and he flipped out and said if we didnt know what we wanted to drink he wouldnt serve us. It was multiple interactions with him as we werent sure if we did anything wrong to instigate him being annoyed with us, we werent loud or rude, just stopped in for some drinks and to relax.

The only reason I go to this place is for the food. When the cook wearing the headphones is working you cant beat this place for a good meal. On the other hand the service is terrible. There is one girl and one guy bartender that I have never seen be nice to anyone. My Dad came to visit me and I decided to go here for lunch. The guy bartending was so rude to my farther we ended up leaving. I wouldnt recommend going unless you dont care about being treated like crap in a place your trying to pay for service.

The best fish and chips around and affordable too! The batter is a light and flaky with just the right amount of spice. Its not a heavy beer batter like youd find in most places. They have a wide selection of beer on tap. On a sunny day, check out their great outdoor deck in back. You can kick back with a brew and make fun of all the bicyclists riding by who dont know what theyre missing. Inside is charmingly divey! Lots of old blue pleather.

Ive never been so offended as a cyclist to listen to the patrons and BARTENDERS trash talk cyclists saying that they have no place on the roads, especially families on bikes. The conversation sounded like a witch hunt to rid all cyclists from the roads. And to think that most people there were intoxicated and driving home with this on their minds. I am now on a mission to encourage all cyclists to not patronize this establishment. Thanks.

After visiting about 100 bars and restaurants around the world we got kicked out of this one as the first because we brought a baby. Apparently they claimed she was under 21 and they did not have a licence. Thats cool if they dont have a licence, but they should be polite and friendly and not refuse us service as if we were unwanted in the restaurant. The word "sorry" would have sufficed. They have parking, so that is cool.

If you want real food in this neighborhood for a reasonable price, this is the place.. I got a 1/3 lb angus cheeseburger with bacon and it was plentiful and delicious. Good juicy patty, lots of fries, and the didnt charge extra for ranch which is always a plus for me. Called ahead and it was ready in 15 mins. Staff was friendly. Im definitely coming here for lunch from now on.

I like this place. Its close to work and the food is good. That being said the service is a bit slow but its just the atmosphere of the place. If you are patient and came to relax instead of getting fast food then youll enjoy this. If youre a service snob go somewhere else. Portions are awesome $.50 extra for 5 huge pieces of bacon in your burger...YES PLEASE!

Fantastic food with amazing prices. Got the cajun shrimp, would 100% recommend. Service was definitely a bit off though. Asked the bartender if it was self-seat or if we should wait, and he gave us a weird look before saying "Just sit." Server was nice, but seemed off-put when we didnt order alcohol. Otherwise great place.

As a native I was aware of this spot but hadnt been in until the challenge was raised as to the local best fish n chips by numerous vividly consenting. The fish n chips succeeded our expectations. Friendly, still somewhat local dive bar with a rambly patio. Order at the bar & the bartender was great!

The best bar fish n chips in Seattle. Get the captains platter with fish , shrimp,, oysters and chips. Classic dive bar has been in the Fremont t neighborhood and has not changed since I moved here in 98. Its pretty much the oldest establishment in Fremont that has not changed.

Not a think fluffy batter like you see often, the only batter Ive ever had like this actually and its delicious! Good fries and also a very dill pickle style tartar which I loved! I live that they have a small size beer and the variety is local and great!

The veggie burgers available in every combination the regular burgers are offered is great and appreciated. Its one of the top choices when Im looking for bar food. Good beer selection. Comfortable place. Would consider it for any locals. Highly recommend.

Server was pretty rude and sarcastic the whole time. Kept coming up to us and going "uhuhh" as if acting like eavesdropping. Weird, he wasnt doing that to other patrons. Sort of worrisome to see other minority reviewers mention poor service like this.

We were disappointed with the fish and chips that a lot of other folks seem to enjoy. I like cod fried in batter, but what I got was tilapia in a stiff breaded crust. The French fries were limp. I did enjoy the Caesar salad, though.

I had Grilled Lemon Chicken Burger (served with fries), it was fantastic. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Food serving is slow (bartender himself manages everything from taking order, serving etc.). Price is decent.

We stopped in for the fish and chips. Ended up getting the platter. Everything is fried but batter is very good. Would recommend giving it a try. NIce neighborhood dive bar with great food and outdoor seating.

Love it! Great staff, yes they might be a bit surly at times but I would like to see the average citizen deal with the crap any bartender has to on a daily basis. I wouldnt want to! Awesome patio too :)
