I was sceptical on eating at a high class Mexican restaurant. Of course I say this being that I grew up with home made Mexican food. I went there on a date and I was immediately impressed with the decor. The staff was very welcoming and opened the door for us. Typical 10min wait which was expected on a Saturday night. Waitress was attentive and had our order correct; in addition, she made regular checkups to make sure the food was as expected and kept our drinks full. My girlfriend and I were really impressed with the quality of the food. Size portions are small to moderate but compensated with rich texture, quality meat, and addictive taste. This restaurant has now been a regular choice for a great night out.

the food is ok, but for deconstructed Mexican, not cooked with that much care. I have been there about 5 times, and 2 times the food was dry (pork). The plates are ridiculously large in size, like a pizza dish. It make me think it must be really hard to cook in the kitchen with those huge things taking up so much space. Maybe that is why the food takes forever to be served. I have never eaten within an hour of ordering. One time we ate so much chips and salsa, we could not eat the dinners. Another time another executive from the East Coast was really annoyed to have to stay up so late to wait for the food. That said, this is one of the only foodie type places in Corona, so they kind of have the market cornered.

I went to this wonderful restaurant with my daughter on Tuesday. I complimented the owner on how we had such great food and that every time I have eaten there I was satisfied. Went there 9 years ago with family and shared fajitas with my son. Best fajitas I have ever eaten!!! Today had the chopped salad with salmon. There was so much food I was able to have the leftovers for dinner. The customer service was EXCELLENT . I have already planned to return there with my friend soon. It opens at 1130. On Montecito st.close to the hotel. Take Magnolia st to El Camino turn left then right at stop sign turn right and follow the road and you will find it with no problem. Happy eating my fellow neighbors!!!!!!

Another delicious dinner and amazing service. Weve come in numerous times since my last review. I chose this dinner to do a short update. Our family came in tonight to celebrate the fact our son passed a boards test and we needed to celebrate with delicious food and amazing cocktails. I cant express how delicious their food is and you wont be disappointed with their large selection of cocktails. The service is always on point but last night Abraham , went way and beyond to excellence. Thank you Abraham!!!! The Drunken Salmon was so delicious! I highly recommend it

Nice decor and drink selection. Nearly nonexistent service. Interesting/unique food, but not worth the wait. Unfortunately Ive never had prompt service (sometimes waiting well over 15 minutes after being seated to even be greeted by a server and over 50 minutes for food to come after ordering). The manager recognized it one time, apologized and brought a complementary desert (what seemed like a twist on a banana foster, although I unfortunately hate bananas). I like the atmosphere, but Ive had disappointing service too many times now to recommend the place.

Fine Mexican dining. They put a gourmet twist on beloved favorites that are so delicious. Sometimes they have strayed so far from the classic that the dish shouldnt bare the name any more, but it tastes so damn good Im paralyzed to argue. Like the carne asada, its served as a steak and I dont taste the signature marinade that makes carne asada, well, carne asada. But is so tender and delicious that they can call it what ever they want. This is down to the beef they use, and I Im not the biggest beef fan. Their sauces and marinades are flavorful and complex.

Great food and large portions. They have a nice modern twist (atmosphere as well as food) on classic Mexican food. Depending on how hungry you around, a meal with rice & beans can easily be split or taken home as a second meal. They have great margaritas, but are kind of expensive outside of happy hour ($7.50/margarita) while a normal enchilada/burrito is only around $12-$15. If youre feeling adventurous, ask for the habanero paste...Ill always order the spiciest thing possible and even this was almost too spicy for me (it was delicious though).

According to other reviews, I thought this was an upscale place. My complimentary chips were all broken, they were the size of a thumb nail. A sample of salsa was all that was provided. There were NO beers on tap. The bottled beers cost $5 each and dont come with a glass. There went any thought of upscale. The margaritas are the size of 2 shots glasses and mostly ice. The service was slooow. The food tasted very good and portions were great. I think the other reviewers need to get out more often. I lost confidence in the Google reviews.

Luna has a good idea of fusing Mexican and Indian however, I dont think the recipes were worked out completely. I ordered steak fajitas. The smell and not aroma was not appetizing. In fact I could not finish the food and the waiter wanted to box for me and I said no. He was surprised and asked if every thing was ok. I told him my pallets were not prepared for that style of food. I am surprised so many people seem to like this place. Maybe my plate wasnt seasoned correctly.

Im sorry, but on behalf of all Mexicans, we all know we get fed well, and we receive big portions from our Nanas.... The portions are severely small.... But somehow the prices are sky high! Wtf? The taste of the food didnt even come close to Nanas cooking.... I would never recommend this place to anybody! I ordered nachos, and what I got was 8 tortilla chips with sour cream cheese and lettuce.... Wtf? Yeah, this will be the last time me and my family will come here....

We went last saturday, 8/23/14 to celebrate my wifes birthday. We have been there before, and she really likes the place. Hostess said it would be 1 1/2 waiting time to get a table!! There were only 3 people waiting before us. The other hostess told the first hostess they will have a big table available very soon, (since it was 8 of us), but she said, nop, still one hour and 30 min waiting time. Unbelievable! We left to another restaurant to celebrate.

Great tasting authentic Mexican dishes with a unique upscale twist. Great bar with an amazing collection of fine tequilas. Weve been here a dozen times and always have great service...the owner usually comes over to say hello and make sure were happy with everything. Modern, inviting, & refined ambience...makes it one of our absolute favorite restaurants to hang out with friends and enjoy a relaxing evening out. Chris F

First let me say , I love Lunas! Ive always had a great experience EXCEPT for today. First time coming into Champagne Brunch and the last, worst service EVER. The female tender/ waitress with the dragon tattoo, we were seated right in front of you, never attended to us once, we had to work to get her attention, and it wasnt even busy....what a shame. ...if you dont like your job, dont come to work.
