Ill start off with all the problems. This buffet is severely understaffed. Buffets require double the staff this poor place has in order to compensate for how many different menu items there are. This buffet has lots of great menu choices, but the more menu items you have, the lower the standard of quality for each individual item, in order to get them all finished. So terribly understaffed, nobody has any sou chefs, the quality is terrible. About the food, none of it is made fresh or cooked on the spot. I believe it is mostly reheated because ALL the pastas are mushy, and all the food trays are filled with water that just flows out of the food like it was microwaved. Pastas are so mushy that they are hard to pick up with a fork. They also dont season their food. No standard salt and pepper, they reheat it and then they throw green bushes of parsley or something ontop which does nothing for its taste. Alot of the food is stone cold. The orange chicken is cold sometimes but I enjoyed it, it may of been reheated though. The fish is hard and dry as cat food. The fish also had no seasoning except useless garnish for show. The taco meat is soupy, and to compensate, they have tons of sriracha sauce and tobasca next to the mexican food section because that requires no effort. The fondu cheese sauce is watery and thin, very very disappointing. The grill also doesnt make hamburgers or steak! Thats the point of a grill but they just cook hotdogs. The ice cream is also too thin, it melts by the time you sit down. Heres another sad tale: they charge for drinks! The lunch price is effectively twelve dollars per person. Never ever charge for drinks, its rude to diswelcome people by trying to nickle and dime them. Severely understaffed, unseasoned sloppy mushy reheated food, hard dry cold food, and the little staff they have, have clearly given up. One thing about the staff is that they are way too eager to take your plates in order for work to be convenient for them. Now for the good parts: I personally like the school style lunch bench look they have, it feels really comfortable and intimate and social, especially with the smooth lack of bright lights. Alot of old people come here to meet and be situated, although I can clearly see their business is being impacted. It is a shame because If I were employed here, or if they just got somebody who can see what is wrong, they would do so well. I can see the staff really want to do well and they want people to like them. I am homeless so I dont make regular stable money with having to shower at gyms and use my legs to walk and all that, but it had been a while since me and my boyfwend had been to a buffet so we really wanted that experience again. We were able to still appreciate most of the food even if we scraped alot of things on our plate. And we dont mind having spent twenty five bucks for the lunch time in order to get that buffet experience. But we were just desperate for a buffet. Realistically, and logically, the place only deserves two stars. ;c im sowie. I hope yu guise take every part of my feedback very seriously, I am a pretty good cook, myself, I gotchu. <3

We could not tell at first if they were open for business. We used to go to the one in hayward and the fried chicken was excellent, place was clean and welcoming-- not this one. Dark, dinghy, shady looking staff and even more shady looking single customers. Almost no booths without torn upholstery, filthy carpet, and this annoying quiet. The food? Absolute worst, drenched in salt, even as the staff brought more food from the kitchen you would think its coming hot but its not! Instead its been sitting in the kitchen, texture gone obsolete, only thing left is salt and grease. Which foods do i mean? Fried chicken, shrimp, fries just plain cold, fried fish more breading than fish. Salads? Not fresh, bitter, only vegetables for salad is lettuce and cucumber. Soups? Only tried chicken noodle, it should be called salt and noodle instead, unedible! Youre better off having ocean water thats how horribly salty it is. Desserts? PATHETIC! Looks as though made the day before! No taste, just plain bad! So we tried a little bit of everything and found absolutely nothing halfway edible, should have stayed at seafood city now there you can find some real food! Oh before i finish, theres a sign at the door both upon entry and exit that they are hiring all positions and no experience is required, it is obvious that no one has experience there the part that makes me sad is no one there has taste buds and common sense either. I commend those who can take pictures of such places, my instinct was to just evacuate and never come back.

This was probably one of the worst dining experiences I have had to this date. Took my fiancee for a nice dinner out of the house since we were both off from work and a buffet sounded good, I will never take her here again. The food wasnt even near acceptable, the meatloaf was dry, the fried chicken was overcooked, the chicken noodle soup tasted sour and was thick. The mac and cheese was overcooked and gummy. Salad bar had soggy salad, the bits of boiled egg were /frozen/ and the crutons were stale. So after all that youd think the dessert would be a good end right? Nope, the cake was dry/ tasteless and the cheesecakes crust was soggy. My fiancee and I couldnt even get a person to voice our complaints to, the staff team ignored us. You want a good meal? Dont waste your time or money here.

Its fairly cheap all-you-can eat affair. I dont get the negative reviews because for a cheap buffet you cant expect 5 star dining all the time, Ive had good and bad experiences here from amazing pot roast and mashed potatoes to bland, tasteless pastas but Ive never left without finding something I liked and now they have all you can drink Icees, I love coming here with my pops and seeing who can stack up the most empty plates. Protip: keep an eye on your junk mail, Ive received a few coupons for 2 dollars off dinner and lunch but havent seen many coupons as of late. Heard the owner of the chain filed for bankruptcy and is closing 81 locations Id be mighty sad to see this one go unless a Golden Corral popped up in its place. Enjoy!

Hoy dia domingo bine a comer al buffete ..que pesimo dia no abia platos limpios el cafe estaba frio tenian todabia lunch i estaban cobrando como dinner i eso seme ase injusto.. pesimo... mal servicio y no tenian comida en el buffte bar. No se meresen ni una estrella. Para mi este lugar . No es recomendable para mi.

WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!It was TERRIBLE the Im still sick and when I bit into some of the food there would be oil dripping down from my chin.Honestly there arent many food choices and all they do is take your money.The food is bad and the place doesnt look nice and they charge you for entering,they probably do this because there food is so BAD that they want to take your money first.There arent many sauces either,some of the food is soggy and Im pretty sure the food is just reheated instead of being cooked.Also I wish I could give this 0 stars,They dont even deserve 1 star.
