Im going to say that their food is really really good in my opinion I havent eaten at another sushi place but I thoroughly enjoyed my experience both times with regards to food. However, The Waitresses dont check up on you they act like theyre better than everybody else and it really bothers me that they dont all wear some type of uniform cuz I cant tell whos working there and who doesnt. But then theres the manager, he was so rude every time I tell people what happened there they cannot believe that he said this to me. So I went with my best friend to enjoy some sushi for her birthday and my husband gave me his card to pay for the day, I handed them the card to pay for our meal and the manager came back with a card telling me that wasnt me I explained to him it was my husband and that my husband let me use his card to pay for the day that I took my friend out for her birthday. And then I can show him my ID with the same last name. Then he proceeded to tell me about times where a couple is getting a divorce and so the wife will go and spend the husbands money in spite, I told him that I could even call my husband so that he can tell him I have permission to use his card. The manager just laughed and walked away and said its fine. Now, I was totally understandable about them just wanting to make sure that nobody was using somebody elses card so I brushed it all off and said whatever you know rules are rules. Before we left I went inside to use the restroom because you could choose to eat inside or outside and we are outside, so when we went inside I asked the manager where the restroom was and instead of just showing me where the restroom was he made sure to make a comment and tell me that he has my face on camera!!! Insinuating that if I really was using a card when I wasnt supposed to that they would be able to catch me. I was so shocked when he told me this.. why talk to a customer this way and make me feel uncomfortable , when I know damn well Im not doing anything wrong. Im so sad because the food really is really good but the service was bad the managers was rude and terrible. And from now on Ill probably just order food for to go. If I get an apology Ill go ahead and give it four stars but it doesnt change the fact that the servers are still rude and unattentive.

My family and I went out to to dinner at Ra, and had a very bad experience with the Chino Hills location. My daughter sat down outside and there was gum on the cushion . It then stuck to her pants. As we got our appetizer they didnt give us any silverware and no plates. We all had appetizer except for my daughter shes been waiting for 20 minutes for hers and they said theyre still making it. ** THE NEXT THING AS MY HUSBAND AND I GETTING THE GINGER THERE IS A PIECE OF TISSUE ROLLED UP THAT HAD BLOOD!!!! BLOOD!!!! ! ON IT IMMEDIATELY !!CALLED THE MANAGER HED ANSWER "WE DONT HAVE TISSUE I DONT KNOW HOW THAT GOT IN THERE" and I said "I DIDNT SAY WE DONT HAVE IT EITHER ARE YOU TRYING TO ACCUSE US" ITS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANAGER WAS ARGUING WITH ME he said "IS NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL I DONT KNOW WHO PUT THAT TISSUE IN THERE I WAS GOING TO FIRE ONE OF MY EMPLOYEES" AS I WAS WALKING OUT I WAS APPROACHED WHAT A CUSTOMER TOLD ME WHAT WAS GOING ON I DIDNT EXPLAIN TO HIM WHAT HAD HAPPENED THIS LOCATION. I TOLD MY HUSBAND LETS GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS PLACE. OUR WAITRESS NIKKI WAS VERY NICE AND I TOLD HER WE WERE SORRY I WALKED OUT J THEY WANTED TO GIVE US FREE APPETIZER THE MANAGER SAYS I WAS GOING TO PAY THE BILL AFTER WE HAD SPOKEN INSTEAD OF SAYING ILL TAKE CARE OF IT HE WAS A VERY RUDE MANAGER.

My favorite sushi place had an hour wait at dinner time so we wandered over and found Ra. It was packed. There was an hour wait for a table but the sushi bar was open so we sat there since thats all we wanted. The wait staff was very attentive so I give them 5 stars. However, the restaurant was very loud. Loud music was playing and it was packed with 20 somethings who came there to drink and party. But, I cant really complain about that since that is their base. My complaint was with the sushi. The prices were high and most of the rolls on the menu had everything in them except fish.For example california roll with pine nuts, smothered in sauce, topped with kiwi. Where is the fish? Shrimp tempura roll with peanut sauce and tempura crunch on top. Where is the fish? This is NOT a place for hard core sushi lovers. Our rolls were $10 - $15 a piece too so I thought it was pricey since they had very little actual fish in them. We ordered some sashimi but it was no near as good as other places. You could tell they dont have a lot of turn over on their sushi here. I saw some other posters saying their happy hour prices are very reasonable so I may try that. Place was packed with a lot of good looking people though. Just not what I was looking for.

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience last night (March 11, 2017). I used to love this place a while back. We sat in the bar area, we asked the hostess for menus after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to approach us. Hostess was absolutely rude (no personality, whatsoever). Our waitress was even worse, when we needed her she was nowhere to be found (she came by twice, after being there for two hours). Im pretty sure the guy with the bow tie walking around was the "manager" didnt seem to put any effort, as a manager its your job to make sure that the restaurant is running smoothly and patrons are being served at adequate timing. I myself have own a restaurant and its not just the food that keeps the customers from coming back, its the service that they remember. Hostess or waitress its your job to welcome and greet walk-ins. Its vital to have a welcoming hostess that is friendly, and professional. Thats your first gretting and the face of the restaurant. Hopefully, they take reviews seriously and I wish them nothing but success, but my friends and I wont be going back.

Went to RA today, the wait was 15 to 30 minutes, as they lack servers, and it was okay we will wait. Then came white people, and was informed that their wait is 30 to 40 minutes, and will also wait, so clearly there was no reservation for these guests, but they were seated first so we ask nicely why they were seated first, they answered they have reservations and that we misheard the conversation that took place... there goes equality.....will never go back. To RA management we may not count but you just lost 4 loyal people. I used to promote your restaurant with my friends and co workers and brought other customers to eat there, celebrated my birthday there, however good your foods are, surely your customer service sucks....
