We were just there today and had terrible service. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food which they claim was due to a problem with the orders not printing up in the back. How is that possible? The waiter should have been wondering why none of his tables had orders up. Another group that walked in the same time as us actually got up and left. We did not complain or question why it was taking so long, they offered up the excuse. When they brought the bill we were expecting to see some sort of adjustment due to the lengthy wait however there was not one. We called the Manager over and very politely explained that it would be appropriate for them to do something. He said nothing and simply took the bill and walked off with a disgusted look on his face. The waiter came back with the bill (not the Mgr) and a $4 Corona had been deducted off of the total. The Manager did not even have the courtesy to apologize or say anything to the effect of this being unusual. He clearly left us with the impression that he could care less about our business. We are okay with paying $20 for a chimichanga and $15 for a burrito at lunch but we do expect quality service. If this is how they treat their customers, we will give Casa Orozco or one of the many other upscale mexican food restaurants our business.

i have been going to LUNA LOCA for years. it is the most consistent restaurant in danville. the chips and salsa are always to notch. my "go to dish" is the steak picado. it is by far the best i have had anywhere. LUNA LOCA has the best TV set up of any place that i know of in the east bay. they have at 10 big HD flat screens and they get all of the sports packages. the service is always very good. i was there last night and they had a live band playing for their monthly "full moon party". it was great. they had $1 tacos going and all kinds of drink specials. the bottom line is i would recommend LUNA LOCA to everyone. they cater to everyone.

This was the most expensive Mexican food I have ever eaten. The fish taco was a heavily battered, mushy tilapia wrapped in a small tortilla. The Chile Relleno was also heavily battered and tasteless. Although the plates are large, the portions are actually small because they spread the beans and rice out to fill out the plate, making it appear like a large portion. A Chicken Burrito will cost you about $14, and it isnt anything special. Its an overpriced Mexican sports bar located in Danville. I will never go to this place again.

If youre near Danville when looking for lunch, this place should be your go-to. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful; Ruby is the sweetest bartender/server youll ever meet and she alone makes the experience as great as it is. Its also got a great atmosphere: with multiple TVs, sufficient spaciousness and fun events held regularly, Luna Loca simply has a feel to it that keeps bringing you back. You cant go wrong coming here but would be doing yourself a disservice not to.

Food was tasty and hot when it came to the table. Good chips and salsa. Service was pretty lame... our server was out of sight most of the time and everything took way longer than it should have. We asked for a to-go box and someone else (not our server) brought one by 10 minutes later. I dont mind a slow-paced meal but when its time to go I dont like waiting around.

Do yourself a favor and don’t eat at Luna Loca. They rip you off. We had a $25.00 certificate and they showed it on the receipt as being taken off the total and they never subtracted it from the bill. In addition, the food has zero flavor and the service is poor. Will never eat at this restaurant again or any of their other restaurants.

Luna Loca has a friendly bar and nice atmosphere with great food. The Thursday night Happy hour featuring $1 homemade beef or chicken tacos, $2 drafts and $3 margs cannot be beat anywhere in the East Bay. The tacos are freshly made right in front of you and you can dress them to you liking at the buffet style condiment bar.

Solid choice for Mexican food in the area. My parents, who are in their seventies, are regulars at this place and always get great service. As a result, whenever we are in town, we often dine with them here and have had the opportunity to sample different parts of their menu. Weve never been disappointed.

I live in Danville, and when I get that Mexican food hankering I always end-up at Luna Loca. I know Ill get quality food. Prices are appropriate for the area. If Im solo, I can belly up to a couple tacos a beer and watch a game. My wife and kids like it too.

Service good, but food was bland and soggy like it was cooked a day or 2 before. Refried beans were watery, chili relleno was mush, frozen margaritas were horrible, just shaved ice with a lime and salt. This place is itching to be on kitchen nightmares.

Had an order of the Vegetable Burrito (~$13): In-season assorted fresh garden vegetables sautéed with seasonings w/pico de gallo, & guacamole rolled in a flour tortilla. Food was delicious, staff was good-natured, and the ambiance was woody.

Fajitas special marinde tasted like terriaki souce. Would be okay in Japanese food but fajitas were terrible. Couldnt substitute salad for rice and beans. I cant eat rice and beans so it was a waste. Wont be back!

Staff is awesome, but the kitchen cannot get my order right. No beans is not that hard. Every time. The last time I sent my beaned food back, they returned with one with a toothpick inside it. I will never return.

Brought wrong food, charged us wrong and insisted even when speaking with the manager. If you want Mexican food in Danville, go to Los Panchos!

The oysters didnt taste too fresh. Ceviche wasnt that great either. I had really high hopes for this place but ended up disappointed.

The #12 combo is my favorite but the seafood nachos are the most popular.
