This joint should be called BLOODY BLAND BURGER! After buying some items at Costco near the end of a long shopping trip my wife and I were in need of some food and this place seemed to be the easiest option.The last time we had eaten at a Burger Lounge was a few years ago when we lived near Hillcrest,San Diego.We thought they were about average for a burger joint.So we fronted at the counter and told the young dude taking our order that we would have a lounge burger and a little lounge burger + a regular serve of onion rings...that was it..no drinks etc.And I remembered as I was standing there what it was that irritated me so much about Burger Lounge and that was the ingredient after ingredient reciting by the assistant which took the whole fun out of a quick burger lunch.After we had nodded yes or no to every ingredient he named on our burgers then we paid and waited for them to be brought to our table.The burgers looked alright when they were placed on our table but looks can be deceptive.I couldnt work out what was more bland...the cardboard like tasting bun or the so called grass fed super duper beef pattie and the toppings.It tasted like I was eating cardboard stuffed with styrofoam...absolute rubbish for an 8 buck burger.Looking at my wifes mini burger I could see nothing but deep red in 75% of her beef pattie...so much for a bit of pink in the middle as stated by the counter dude.I warned her not to eat such a raw looking beef pattie...not healthy or safe.The onion rings were good hence the one star rating.And who wants to pay 6 bucks for a thick shake when you only get a choice of vanilla or chocolate.We very seldom eat at take out fast food joints but Burger Lounge is off our options for sure.

Today was my second time ordering from Burger Lounge. I ordered a burger with Fries "Well done" and when I got to work it was pink in the inside of my burger. I contacted them and informed them that my burger was not what I asked. I spoke to Melissa "manager on duty" She was the sweetest person. She was very professional and kind. I was so impressed how she handled my situation. I give them 5 stars for excellent customer service and their quality of food. We need more of Melissa in all industry. She was by far one of the best professional staff working there. Way to go Melissa. I really appreciate your help and effort to making my order right.

Service was friendly and the food was great. Note: It is more expensive than McDonalds, so if youre tight on cash it wont be the place for you, but if you want grass fed beef, helpful order takers in a high end fast casual restaurant then this is your spot for burgers. I have tried a few concepts and no other place offers its clients water while waiting in a line that goes out the door. Few other places offer much besides beef, where this place gives you a veggie option and a lent Friday-Friendly albacore fish sandwich. Their fries are great too.

Very high quality ingredients used at this establishment and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and the food came out fast. I genuinely had a GREAT experience here! It gets really busy and I think this place is outgrowing this location very quickly because I had a really hard time finding a place to sit! Definitely the best burger place Ive been to in a long time and worth a visit back very soon!

Came in for a Lamb Burger with fries to go wich was taken by another customer after being called wrong name and offered the wrong meal they seemed to have figure it out not telling me anything they make me wait another 45 minutes as I watched customers who ordered behind me eat. Got one Sorry at the end no extra fries and the burger was small for the price.

A very simple menu with just enough variety to satisfy just about everyone, and the price for this quality of food and atmosphere is unbelievable. If you know the area, then you should know that this is the best "fast food" (if you can call it that) burger joint with beer on tap for miles. Grass fed and delicious. A no brainer for beach side North County.

The meat on our burger was good, but the tomato was partly green and hard, and the lettuce was pretty crappy. There wasnt much thousand island dressing on them, plus it was watery and/or greasy. The fries and onion rings were excellent, and the service was fine. Not an especially large burger either. Just not what I expect for an $8 burger.

Have always loved the burgers, fries, onion rings, and salads at all the Burger Lounges Ive stumbled into. Recently tried 2 thing at the Carlsbad store that were both awesome...the Elk Burger with watercress and caramelized onions, and the malt with a full brownie blended into it. Wow, yummy!

Great tasting food (grass fed beef burgers, house made sodas & drinks), but service was just ok (felt like person taking order had short-term memory issue- had to tell order a bunch of times), and they were out of their cola, which was one of the main reasons hubby wanted to go back.

Excellent Burger and excellent service. Grass fed beef is really delicious or at least how they prepare it. Definitely a good Burger joint and better than Five guys. Only downside is the price. I only bought a quick meal for myself and it still set me back like $18.

Good burgers, and I love that they are grass fed, but it was a little pricey. I understand grass fed is more expensive, but I didnt think it should be double the price. And the chocolate shake that cost $6-7 tasted terribly like Hershey syrup.

I trust the ingredients, which is saying a lot, its hard to find a place with decent ingredients. My kids like it, but I want impressed overall, left with a stomach ache, probably due to the grease, not sure. Overall taste, only okay.

Love the Burger Lounge. Every time my family visits So-Cal we make sure we eat at the Burger Lounge. Their burgers are fresh, their fries so tasty and their lemonade is so unique and refreshing. Sorry In-N-Out... youve been replaced.

Burger Lounge food is amazing, but I was super disappointed in the service at this location. The waitress spilled water all over me and I got to eat my dinner in soaking wet jeans. She should have offered a dessert at the very least.

This place has really good burgers but it is kind of pricey. Slightly different business model when you order at the register, sit down, they drop off your food, and provide refills. It is a half fast food and half restaurant feel.

Employees offer excellent service, this place is always very clean! Food is outstanding. Slightly high prices, though when considering the quality and deliciousness prices are fair. Highly recommended!

Love the lavender mint lemonade. Burgers are tasty and come with plenty of options. Large fries are easily shared between two+ people and were obviously actually potatoes at some point.
