PLEASE READ. For about two months i purchased a burger here every other day. Everything was decent until i tried fixing an order i made through their delivery app. This apparently was unacceptable because it made way for the most unprofessional and unhelpful service ive ever received. I called to clarify my order, as i had an allergy and asked specifically for no mayonnaise, which was put on the sandwich. On both sides. And it seems they mistook the word "none" for extra, because the entire sandwich was drenched in mayonnaise, wetting the bread, and even without my allergy, making it inedible. This was not the end to my experience. As soon as i got on the phone a Latino gentleman answered. Id like to mention i am Latino myself, and speak both English and Spanish fluently. This gentlemans accent was so thick i could not make out a single word he was saying. I would have been fine with English or Spanish but this mans accent was so thick and broken that i could maybe make out a word in every other sentence. And HE had the nerve to get mad at ME!! I was speaking perfectly, trying to stay calm even with my spoiled appetite, at this point i just wanted my money back so i could make my own damn sandwich at home, but started speaking faster and louder, which didnt help, so i hung up and called again, this time to speak with the manager. He was just as clueless and unhelpful as the dishwasher who answered the phone before him, as he had no idea what order i was talking about. As if this werent his JOB. He very procedurally tried to stray from the fact he hadnt even looked at my order and gave every excuse to make it so that i was convinced it was my fault, and my expense. I have managed several kitchens, and i know how food expense works, and at calio burgers, that expense is yours. This was only one of the 4-5 "experiences" i had at calios, including cold food, undercooked ground beef, SPOILED ground beef, and what im pretty sure was fries from the day before I went. You want grass fed organic? Go to Burger lounge. At least they know what theyre doing.

This used to be my favorite place for a burger in San Diego. Our meal was not good here tonight, I ordered the same thing every time San Jose no grilled onions. When my sweet potato fries came out they were old or way over cooked, my girlfriends were perfect. When our burgers came out mine had extra grilled onions, when the order receipt clearly said none. I asked the girl at the counter to make sure they cook a new one and not just recook the one they gave me. They scrapped them off and recooked it, or gave me someone elses well done piece of charcoal. While everyone else had pretty much finished eating. I asked the girl at the counter about and she said she never told them to cook a new one because she was helping another guest.

Almost like crazee burger, but less exotic items. However they stand by in giving us all natural and grass-fed products. Each burger dish is named after a city in California, but they do have a detailed description of what youre getting. The parmesan fries are not the something to really go for, but the other sides are crisp to a perfection of taste. Dont worry if you have kids then they have a mini menu for them as well. Yet, for us big kids we have soda or beer to accompany our burgers. If someone in your party doesnt want burgers while you chow down one? They also have fresh salads to also choose from. Enjoy!

Decided to eat here before going to a bar (The Merrow) across the street. So glad that we did. The burgers were cooked to.perfection and the grass fed beef was truly a stand out. I ordered the Anaheim Burger with Anaheim Peppers, pepperjack cheese, grilled onions, and chipotle aoli. The cheese was melted over top of the peppers and onions and made for a delicious mixture of sweet and spicy. They have a good selection of both draft and bottled beers and the cafe was nicely lit and inviting coupled with outdoor seating for those with pets as well. Will definitely be returning soon.

The food is ok, I go there because of the grass fed beef ( organic ) The problem I have with this place is that the person who works on the cold side of the line does not have gloves on, ever. I was there a week ago and finally brought it to their attention. My point was just blown off. Went again today, asked for the owner and was told he was not there, so I explained my concern again to the guy behind the counter, and it was clear he was not with me, and told me I was talking down to him...My 4 stops a month there for a late lunch ended today.

Perfect and delicious! I had the San Fransiscan burger on a gluten free bun and shared a salad (with amazing house-made ranch) and parmesan herbed fries. Everyone loved their burgers. Everything was delicious and fresh. And they have house-made Gluten-free brownies. (and an added bonus for me, there are no peanuts or peanut oil in their restaraunt!!! Safe for peanut allergies!) We will definitely be going back.

I ordered the Cali burger and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly to delicious and juicy medium. Ive tasted many burgers nationwide and Cali O rates up there with some of the best. The salads are fresh and delicious and look as if everything came straight from the garden to your salad bowl. If youre in San Diego and crave a really good burger and salad, go here. You wont be disappointed.

Our party of three found our burgers to be excellent, and service fine. We each had different fries, and two of the three could have used more cooking; one order was fairly drastically undercooked. One member of our party asked for a box to take the rest of his burger home, and he got a box that already had been used. So a couple of execution errors takes a star off.

Ive been to Cali "O" Burgers, a couple times and I Love This Place! The menu has so many options to meet whatever your cravings are that day. Im a huge fan of there chili cheese fries. They totally hit the spot and they use premium meat for the chili. Also, they have tasty fish tacos that they just added to the menu. The staff is always friendly and give A+ service!

I had high hopes for this place due to the name alone. French fries were so oily I couldnt even eat them. Unfortunately I didnt discover it until I got home. Burger was just so so. Nothing to remember with not much flavor. Plus side is there is a parking lot! Wish I could say more about this place but....I cant. Oh they do have indoor and outdoor seating. Thats nice!

They make the best burgers i have ever had. When u pick it up from your plate oil stuff might drip off but it doesnt taste oily or greasy the burger is just juicy and delicious! And also there fries are amazing!! I got the cali burger and i recommend it to anyone!! The one downside to the place is that its small but its still great!

Just ate there and the lady at the counter taking orders is rude when I was ordering she had her head in her forearm like I was taking to long then when I asked her about what a couple items were she gave attitude. When the food came out the onion pedals were good but everything else is mediocre. For the price go somewhere else .
