Tonight, Saturday April 16, I went to The Habit burger in Lacosta off of rancho sante fe, I phoned in my order at 8:10 and they said itd be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at 8:25 and waited inline to order a milk shake. After I received my milk shake I waited for them to make my fries, while waiting I noticed all the people who were in line behind me were receiving there food. My food was already ready except my fries. I waited for them to make my fries for over 30 minutes while they continued giving everyone elses food who came way after I did let alone considering I called ahead. I had to stand at the front to get theyre attention and then the cook said he was making my fries after 30+ minutes of waiting. I get home and my food is cold and soggy. I normally love your guyses food and theyre are lots of burgers places to choose from around here, but your customer service was not there. I do not recommend phoning in your order, you minus well just wait in line, youll get your food faster that way.

My first visit, and I really enjoyed it. The burgers are great and they have a wonderful selection. Even chicken and fish sandwiches on the menus. Everything was cooked fresh. The place is clean and the staff are awesome. And they have fresh brewed iced tea. The only down side would be the very limited indoor seating indoors (They have outdoor seating, but not great if the weather is bad) and prices are a bit high for a burger place. But would definitely recommend and return.

I usually order online and go pick it up. I would say there is a problem with my order every 3rd-4th order. From items not being included, so I have to wait, to my "favorite" tonight. Cobb salad comes with bacon. I paid for exta bacon. The result is no bacon at all. When I tried to call on the phone, the options were pretty much place an order or.... Any other issues go to the website... Definitely one place I wont be ordering again!

Great burgers, limited seating! The burgers and service here are great. They frequently run specials and what I think are test market samples. Seating inside is as good as can be expected, but there is limited seating that runs out quickly. Outside is more plentiful, but seats you right next to a busy intersection. Get there early and grab good seating, but be careful as it can be breezy and cool, even in spring and "fall".

Good service, good food. Their burgers are a par with In-N-Out - maybe even better. They offer greater variety though, including chicken. It gets extremely busy here, but the wait is never as long as you think its going to be. Outdoor seating area with heat lamps. Its sometimes difficult to find an indoor table.

Arthur was a terrific employee, he was very kind and helpful, he helped us tremendously with our order. My 95 year old mom commented on how passionate he was about his work. His positive work ethic showed he is deserving of a benefit from the employer. The food was delicious as well.

I have been here many times, however they completely forgot to give me one of my burgers. I went back and the gave not only the burger they forgot but also an extra one as well as 3 free burger coupons. They are extremely friendly and overall a nice store.

I expected the same food and service as we had at The Habit in San Marcos. Service was passable, but the burgers took forever, the bun was stale and there was exactly one bite of grilled onions on my burger. Too bad, as this is close to home.

Funny thing is the "combo meals" are the same price as if you order them individually! No price break like other places. They say fries and drink included, but at the same price. Still great burger and never bad service

Will not be returning. Over half an hour wait for French Fries, and gave me the wrong salad. Charburger was undercooked. Fries were all piled together in a paperbag, with no carryout container. Terrible experience.

Smells better than it tastes. Not bad, just not memorable and given the competitive burger landscape today I dont think its anything special. Not as good as in-n-out and more expensive is never a winning combo.

Good burgers and they have a veggie burger option too! Ice cream cones are only $1.00. Friendly staff and consistent food. Something different for a burger joint is that they have tempura green beans.
