pretentious italian restaurant. went their for my birthday dinner. Got the polenta & funghi appetizer; Polenta was dry. Mushrooms sauce that it came with was good. I got a soup (special of the day) - black lentils with sausage was runny and had no depth of flavor or body to it.. sausage was good, however. my wife got the penne pasta with smoked salmon. It was the most palatable dish of the evening. The pasta itself was al dente and was very good, smoked salmon bits were good as well. I got the tagliatte pasta with wild mushrooms.. The pasta was a little undercooked, mushrooms were good, but there was something missing from the dish. It was spicier than it had to be, there was no flavor binding the mushrooms and the pasta. It was almost like the ingredients - pasta, mushrooms, olive oil and some peppers, of which I cant remember the name of, were all just thrown together....with nothing binding it together. Music was too loud. The service was drab and lack lustre, with an ambience to match. We were checked upon only twice during the whole time we were there. This is no place for good italian. May be just 1 step above the run of the mill chain italian restauants.. Not going back.

This is my 3rd time dining here. The food is always good, tonight I could not decide between the Gnocchi and the Pasta Carbonra. So in true Italian style I ordered them both C; We ordered the Caprese for our antipasto. 5 stars. Wifey ordered the special Bassa which had wonderful light flavors. Truly the star of the evening! 5 stars. The Gnocchi were so creamy, needed a little more salt for my taste 4.stars. The Pasta Carbonra showed up at the table smelling wunder full, the Pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente. Unfortunately the Pasta was lukewarm /: 3 stars I ordered Gin with water and fresh Limon juice. Lets just say one drank is all I needed. 5 stars. I ordered the tiramisu with a decaf coffee. The Tiramisu was out of this world good, not to sweet and had a hint of Amaretto flavor. 5 stars. Wifey ordered Pistachio gelato. With a Mocha. The Pistachio Gelato tasted like it was made with real Pistachio nuts!! It was excellent. 5 stars. Wifey said said the Mocha was also excellent. Tom our waiter was on point. 5 Stars. Overall the complete experience was a very solid 4 stars.

We were there for our friends dinner rehearsal, they choose to do a family style service with multiple courses. Practicly every single item was absolutely amazing. We had salad, meat n olive plate, calamari, mozzarella basil, rolls, beef spaghetti, salmon penne, mushroom razioto, broccoli, white fish, veal n mushroom, n a chicken cheese n spinach dish, n 3 desserts, tarmisu, chocolate mousse, n a cannoli..... only items we didnt care for as much was the white fish, it was too chewy n the red sauce was not very favor full....n razioto was a bit off also. Love this place otherwise.... would definitely come back if we r ever in the area. The staff was great also, very attentive n polite.

Ive been here several times and although the restaurant has changed physically over the years the quality of the food has always remained excellent. There are a lot of restaurants in downtown Campbell to choose from these days but while prices are on the high-ish end it is definitely worth it. The service is excellent and prompt, food usually arrives quicker than youd expect. The restaurant is small but has a nice ambiance overall making it fitting for a special occasion. Location is excellent since its in downtown Campbell but keep in mind parking can be a challenge. Usually the lot behind is full at typical times but more parking is a short walk away.

Be warned: this place doesnt serve any Pizza like most Italian places do, but thats totally fine as they do their pasta dishes really well. In fact, there is a good amount of various pasta dishes you can choose from, including several vegetarian ones, and all we tried so far was really tasty. Their sauces have great flavor and are not too heavy. Theres always a special of the day which changes regularly. In addition to the pasta they also serve meat dishes - they taste really good and fresh too. Wine list is solid too. Service is friendly and brings that Italian charm and vibe. Really enjoy the place!

We went to A Bellagio for our anniversary and the staff made our night very special -- service was unobtrusively exquisite and charming. The food was beautiful and delicious. Our favorite dish was the appetizer of vegetables in pastry with a wonderfully addictive parmesan-gorgonzola sauce. We liked the neighborhood too--which was important because we really needed a romantic stroll afterward to walk off the phenomenal Pinot Grigio we drank a lot more of than we intended to. A memorable evening we will long cherish.

Delicious. Seafood dish (Cacciucco Alla Livornese, with Pappardelle) had fantastic flavor and was the better dish. The sauce was great, and they let me sub out the clams and mussels (keeping only the other seafood). The fettuccine Verdi Bolognese also tasted good, but was just a tad heavy, decent meat flavor. Atmosphere can get a bit loud depending on where you are sat. Overall though Id come again. Went for a private event a few months later and it was lovely. Great apps and pasta.

Not really cheap, but really truly beautiful restaurant with a wonderful high wooden ceiling. The meal themselves looked small, on account of a huge plate, but were actually very filling, so had left overs after a delicious appetizer. Had the "Strudeline Verdure", Fettuccine Bolegnese and Rack of Lamb (just 3 pieces, but delicious). Our waitress, was Australian (as am I), which doesnt happen very often.... and she was great (very polite / patient)! :)

My first time to downtown Campbell and this is a pretty nice Italian restaurant. Came here on Friday night and there were many business customers who came right after work. The light was turned darker at 8:30 and it became more like a lounge/restaurant. Food is good and there are some awesome cocktails. They have a full bar. Tiramisu is good because its not too sweet. There are plenty of public parking around.

Completely enjoyable dining experience! Took my boss and his family there for his birthday and our server did everything possible to make it a wonderful lunch. Their selection of Panini sandwiches made it difficult to decide what to order. The Panini Salsicci made with house made Italian sausage was a standout. The gorgonzola gnocchi was so good, soft little pillows in a thick cheesy sauce!

Our visit to A Bellagio was an A+ experience. From the first moment we were treated as family, even our little dog, thanks to a charming outdoor patio. The menu offered choices for every dietary need, ranging from traditional Italian fare to creative Italian flair. Every bite was delicious, and the service was seamless. Cant wait to return, and will, often.

Very unassuming when first approached. We ate outside on patio. Started with wonderful staff. Our server, Angel, was outstanding. She had a wonderful knowledge and passion for the menu. We took her suggestions from the menu, and they were spot on. Wonderful flavors and combinations. Best Italian meal ever had. Kudos to staff and ownership.

I took my gf here for her birthday. The service was slow and rude. The lasagna was obviously microwaved and we actually saw our server carrying food across the street from their "sister" restaurant. Unbelievable. Im not a real YELPER. For me to actually write a review says alot. Dan S. Campbell
