You have to understand that you dont go to Olive Garden when youre craving Italian. You go to Olive Garden for huge portions of saucy plates and endless salad, soup and breadsticks. The food is not authentic, but did you really expect it to be? Its good when youre craving a heavy meal, and I have to admit that whatever kind of food it is, its crazy delicious. I consider it to be like sit-down fast food, "italian-style". Nonetheless the atmosphere is mediocre but the hosts are nice and the servers can be either or. Our server, Susan, was AWESOME. You could tell she loved her job and she didnt robotically list off specials or force drinks down our throat. She listened to us and had real conversation as well as providing excellent service. Our glasses were never less than half full and we always had food in front of us. Despite clearly having a full section of tables, she managed her time wisely and made sure we felt special. Thank you Susan for such a great experience. We will be back for more oversized portions. :)

Use to be great in Eugene. We were weekly customers. However, last three times we went the customer service declined as the servers were almost grumpy. On our final trip the noodles in the chicken alfredo were undercooked and stuck together, and the roasted tomato something or other looked and tasted like vomit. Both plates were sent back. They never offered us any other food. We did eat the dessert, and they had the nerve to charge us for the dessert. So we spent almost $30.00 and received a few drinks and chocolate cake. Third time is a charm, we have not and will not, be back. They no longer treated us like "family" and for the price of the drinks and dessert, it certainly is not worth the money.

The food is consistently good unlike many other restaurants in town. Prices are similar to other restaurants but portions are larger so you have leftovers for the next day. Olive Garden is usually hopping but other than the noise they have excellent atmosphere. Its clean, comfortable, and esthetically pleasing. I have heard people complain about the service at Olive Garden but considering how much more they do than your standard restaurant (unlimited salad, bread, soup, wine samples, and my favorite they box up your food for you) I think the service is wonderful. If you want a fast paced in and out dining experience go to red robin but if you want your moneys worth go to the Olive Garden.

My daughter has eaten here twice including today, had seafood both times, hurled shortly after leaving the restaurant and everyone had and has diarrhea now. Somebody should be checking the freshness of the seafood, how and where and by whom its handled, making sure of effective cleanup afterward so as to not contaminate other foods such as salads. I feel you should give her her money back-- especially after happening TWICE in two visits!! Wont be going back until you fix your food and conditions and give her her money back!! Guess you could care less however. Also, if she ends up in the hospital over this, you will see a much larger bill!!! Mad and disappointed in this place!!!!!!!!!!

Had a long wait for our table, yet they had three hostess just standing around and many open tables. They dont have all their dishes on one menu, they have them divided up into lunch and dinner - what if I wanted a late lunch or an early dinner. We had to ask for the other menu just to see all the dishes they offer. Their selection of food is poor too, dish after dish of essentially pasta and tomato sauce for $12. I asked for one of the sandwiches, and they said they dont serve them on the weekend... We told the server no thanks and left, what a waste of time. The Olive Garden is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been too.

I didnt really expect too much with the "Never Ending" pasta special that they have going on right now, but to be honest, the pasta was completely tasteless. I tried 3 different types of pasta/sauce combinations and I tasted more noodles than sauce. The service was ok for a Friday night, not too long of a wait, server was friendly, if mostly absent. The worst thing about the evening though is that everyone in my party suffered from serious stomach issues even before we arrived home. It was awful! We all had the "new" mushroom parmesan sauce on one of our dishes, so it may have been that. Needless to say, I will not be returning here.

My husband and I got take out the other night and when my husband walked into the restaurant he said there was a foul smell in the building that smelled like garbage! He tried to disregard it and picked up our meal. The meal looked okay but the chicken was absolutely tough and dry and the salad smelled like it had been left out and was discolored. The bread sticks were BARELY cooked and cold and we stopped eating the whole meal and threw it out. Next morning we both had the "runs" and cramping and we are certain it was because of that food. We will NEVER order from this restaurant again it has gone totally downhill!!

Honestly had a bad first experience the first time we came in to this Olive Garden. It caused us to not even return for almost a year, but when we finally came back in we were so pleasantly surprised. The host was very pleasant, and our waitress was so fun and provided excellent service. The experience was so wonderful we have come back two more times in the last month, and have had consistently great experiences. The food was great and the service was wonderful each time after that first unpleasant experience. I hope Olive Garden keeps doing what they have been doing.

Theres something funny about that much-vaunted "hospitaliano" associated with a bunch of northern European waitresses (because nothing says "Mediterranean" like chubby blondes)... but thats admittedly just nit-picking the authenticity - or lack thereof - of the place. One other aside, though. Whats up with *blasting* Frank Sinatra in the crapper? I genuinely associate Ol Blue Eyes with rectal heaving as a result. Is it their subtle way of discouraging dumping in their establishment...? But overall I like the place. The prices, not so much.

Uniquely set up location, different dining areas throughout the restraunt made it feel like a more intiment setting which was nice. We went for dinner at a very busy time and only had to wait 5min for a table! They were staffed very well, our waiter was able to give us lots of attention and awesome service. Food was fresh and hot. The Manager is doing an amazing job running this restraunt =) And our waiter and other staff were so friendly and helpful! It was nice to see a smiling and welcoming face as soon as we walked in the door

My family and i visited the Eugene Olive Garden for lunch today on Sunday, July 16th. Melissa was our server and a rock star. I did note one very minor food quality issue, which was that the salad was not as crisp as past visits, and somewhat warmer and soggier. I had the Lasagna Fritta and it was very delicious. Everybody in my party was fully satisfied. The mens room was very clean and had a pleasing aroma. Overall the atmosphere of the restaurant was laid back and relaxing. Very happy with this experience.
