Edit: I should say that the food if very healthy. However.. First thought: this place doesnt have hot sauce. They sell bottles of hot sauce, but so not sell or supply hot sauce for meals. I ordered the burger and a side of plaintains. It was...just ok. The burger was perfectly formed as round like from a machine. Reminds me of the grassfed patties from Trader Joes. Salad comes with the burger and was decent, although the edible flowers were over the top for such a basic, and frankly, bland meal. I received essentially 1 half of 1 quarter of a plantain. My initial response to this place is... all style not much substance.

Best. Brunch. Place. Ever. Bulletproof coffee, raw camel milk, coffee kombucha, and chicken liver mousse with bitter greens salad. Breakfast of champions. I hesitate to even rate this place because I want to keep it all to myself, rather than having it overrun by tedious hipsters the way every single nice place to eat in SF has been. (/me looks in mirror and does a double-take)

I asked multiple questions about their beer and the cashier couldnt answer any of it. We spent 90 bucks for 3 basic meals and a ice cream sandwich which its cookie was completely burned. My wife was very specific saying she didnt want eggs on her meal and guess what was hanging on her plate? Waiters were all nice though.

Love eating here. They use only super high quality ingredients and everything Ive had has been really flavorful and delicious. And the garden is beautiful, such a lovely ambience. Highly recommend the burger and the chocolate chip cookies. And yes, its expensive, but super worth it for the quality youre getting. Enjoy!

I went here for their Berkeley restaurant week menu. Its on the pricey side, but the food is quite good. They also sell a lot of house made foods ready-made. Not good enough for five stars in my opinion, but if you eat Paleo and have trouble finding restaurants that cater to your diet, you could do a lot worse.

Immediately feel refreshed and invigorated upon walking in to Mission: Heirloom. Then, quickly after feel a bit deflated after spending an entire paycheck on healthy food that tastes "just okay." The highlights are the outdoor space, coffee offerings, Hibiscus Revive kombucha, and their tumeric juice.

Its not like any other cafe in Berkeley. The food is super healthy and interesting - I want to try everything! They also have an amazing, beautiful backyard space - its beautiful enough to have a wedding there. Of course, this place is very expensive. But they have something to charge for.

Wonderful food and atmosphere! Menu is clearly lists if foods are Vegan, AIP, Paleo, etc. All ingredients are listed, as well as where those ingredients originated. The food tasted delicious! Phenomenal restaurant!! The staff was very friendly!

Definitely overpriced; but, as a Brazilian, Ill willingly pay too much for a waffle made with pão de queixo dough every once in a while. The outdoor seating area in the back is beyond lovely.
