Great place for a bagel with a schmear and coffee. Great internet service. Their hours are a bit limited ... they should be open until 5. This is an old service station that has been converted and renovated - actually a very charming place. Plus they roast their own coffee on the second level and sell their roasted coffee beans. The owner has been a bit more open of late. Still a Vallejo gem. I wish I could just walk there instead of having to drive! A great place with a homey inside.

I love Java Jax. Its one of the few old school type places that has been successful for quite some time in Vallejo. Its clean and charming and has great coffee and food. I go there for lunch and/or breakfast a few times a week. The owner is always there, greeting customers, working the counter, serving tables and keeping things tidy. This is not just a business to him, its his life.

Reminds me of a 50s diner. I bought a sticky bun and a coffee for $5 which is the same general price point as most coffee shops Ive been too. The atmosphere is very inviting, I watched 3 customers come in, order, sit down with existing customers, and join them in conversation. I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends.

The owner is moody and can be downright insulting at times. Not exactly what you need first thing in the morning before you have had your coffee. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The food and coffee are good and fairly priced. Owner should take a step back and this place would do a better business.

Friendly staff and quite locals abound. Nice espresso skills and the bean roasting on site is above average. Drink the Sumatra. They have a few seats outside for dog lovers or fresh air enthusiasts but they should expand because there is lots of outdoor space and the few tables are totally full.

Had a delicious, healthy blueberry muffin. The service was good. I was pleasantly surprised when I was asked if I wanted it warmed. I thought the price was a little high, but I did get a fork, and plate to eat with, so that made it okay.
