Great place, very cozy and simple. My favorite on College Ave. Some perks include: day old pastries for $1, free newspapers, comfy chairs, and always some interesting music playing. There was even live music a couple Sundays. I think the only reason it doesnt get crowded is because it feels a little hidden as it doesnt have an eye-catching store front. But anyone who doesnt give it a try is missing out.

This is my secret workspace when I need to get things done. It looks pretty plain from the street, but if you check out their back seating area you will be amazed. Its a large space with very high ceilings, a floor to ceiling mural, and plenty of sunlight. Its also relatively quiet (i.e. not too much chatter, just the music playing), plus they offer free wifi Cant beat this place!

Excellent Vietnamese Coffee and Mashala Chai. The service is very personable. The place feels very comfortable, welcoming, and laid back. They also have a very interesting variety of breakfast dishes, baked goods, snacks, salads, and sandwiches, although we werent hungry enough to try any of them.

Fresh, healthy food - love the vegetarian sandwich and Mediterranean plates. Interior is clean, but funky. Local art displayed and fantastic mural on back wall. A variety of background world music is sometimes relaxing, sometimes inspiring.

Very nice staff/management, reliable wi-fi, and comfortable environment for working (both computer work and meetings). I think the food options could be expanded to include more healthy options, but otw I love this place.

I really want to like this place but there always seems to be a few people who are too comfortable there and it feels like youre in their living room. Maybe that appeals to some people though.

Hidden gem. Old school, great coffee without modern prices. Always friendly, free Wi-Fi, lots of seating. Doesnt look as nice as it actually is from the outside.

I found the coffee and the food to be amazing, but for a coffee cake, it is $3.95. Prices could use some fixing but food/drinks are outstanding

Spasso is a very comfortable cafe. I like their pastries and I like their salads, and I like to hang out there with a book or a newspaper.

Great place for laptopping - consistent wifi, decent tables, quietish, slacker management. Coffee, good, and style just OK.

Friendly people, nice space. Seating not as lush as other coffee shops, but spartan chairs and tables are good enough.

Best cap on college street but SUPER DUPER slow service. Expect to wait up to half an hour for a sandwich.
