Ive come here quite a few times and noticed that they are very rarely wearing gloves while preparing food. I have also noticed on multiple occasions that someone will deal with the register and then walk back and begin preparing food without gloves or watching their hands. Today when I went in, I ordered a veggie burrito and upon taking a few bites, I noticed it was chalked full of ground-beef. I immediately stopped eating (as Im a vegitarian and have been for quite a while, and eating meat at this point would make me very sick,) and took it up to the register. The employee at the register said "oh wow" and proceeded to take the burrito out of my hand and walk back to the employee who had apparently made the burrito. She then said loud enough for me to hear (in a very angered tone) "well its half eaten!" And sent him back up to the register to deal with me. At that point the employee just said "sorry." And I said "thats all youre going to do?" And he told me to hold on as he returned to the back to get the employee who made my burrito. She walked straight up to me and said "yes?" And I said "sorrry I just found a lot of meat in my VEGGIE burrito" and she said "well I will make you a new one" and I kindly said "at this point I do not want another burrito from here." Unfortunately, she had already walked into the back, and grabbed another burrito, and I was halfway back to my table when she screeched across the restaurant (interrupting everyone in the restaurant) "VEGGIE BURITTO" and slammed it down on the counter. Had she said sorry, or not embarrassed me in front of the entire restaurant, I probably would have just forgiven it and awaited my impending food poisoning. However her behavior was unacceptable and that is why Im leaving one star. Yes mistakes do happen, but that is like adding peanut butter to a sandwich which going to a person highly allergic to peanuts, and then not even apologizing for your mistake even though it could be life threatening to them.

Same ol taco tree decent food however their health and safety standards suck here and used to be the same at their other location. Their employees dont wear gloves here which mean they use the restroom then with their barre hands possibly forget to wash them then touch lettuce, tomatoes and cheese!! Even if they do wash their hands the might touch their mouth, nose etc then touch your food with bare hands this is disgusting and the management needs to make it mandatory that prep cooks wear gloves when they make tacos and burritos. I go here every other day I see this and think maybe I should stop going here based on this hopefully I can find a way to contact management as this is just industry standard to make employees wear gloves when they prep foods like cheese and lettuce.

Over years I keep wanting to like this place but I just cant. Year after year I visit less and less and every time Im reminded why I chose to go out of my way and go to Taco Bell. The food is just nasty. Judge for yourself, youll see what I mean. I wish I could give it a half star. Even the customer service is bunk! They act like Im bothering them just being there. See you guys in a few months, if even then.

I have no idea why I craved Taco Tree so much while living out of town, but I know Im not the only one. Would meet other people from Auburn and the question; "If you were at Taco Tree right now... what would you order?" Was asked often. Its an addition only a true Auburnite can understand. Keep doing what your doing!

Best "mexican" fast food restaurant around. Delicious food from the tacos to the taco salad, beam burrito to the super nachos. Its some of the best American style Mexican fast food Ive ever had. They are quick and friendly and you cant beat the prices. As a bonus, they serve Pepsi products in their fountain drinks.

This is the highest quality "fast food" that one can get at any location. This "chain" only has two establishments and is my #1 go-to. Nothing is greasy or processed and is assembled on sight assembly line style right there behind the registers. I would chose taco tree to eat above all other lunch destinations.

Went for the first time and saw many families there. Everyone had smiles including the cashiers that take your order. Fast and friendly service, comfortable seating. I think the tacos were good and I like that the drinks come in styrofoam cups. Easy access off of HWY 49.

For the price we pay to feed a family of 5 this food is great! Great food and cheap prices. i would pick this food over any fast food place. I visit this place at least twice a week (breakfast & lunch). Were else can you find a hot breakfast burrito for $1.92.

The food is always yummy at Taco Tree, but the service was painfully slow during this visit. The drive thru was very backed up, but looking through the window while waiting for my food, I did not see any sign of hustle from the crew.

Really good fast food. Try the super nachos swamp style, so your chips dont get mushy. Good prices, usually pretty fast service. Its not a high end mexican restaurant. But consistently good food at a reasonable price.

Was expecting more from a place with 4 stars. Although the prices are pretty awesome, the food is pretty much what youre paying for, and its nothing exciting. Come hungry, but dont expect super high quality.

Always love coming here for a quick, inexpensive lunch. The service is always fast, friendly and efficient, and it is always clean and the food is pretty good, considering the price.

The food here is a step above Taco Bells for sure. All the locals love this place. Ive been going here since I was a kid. I even worked there for a year back in 1996. Good times...!

I miss the old building across Dry Creek Road. The new building looks like a chain restaurant. The food is still great, though, and the new place is probably a lot cleaner.

Everythings been great, except the veggie burrito regularly has barely any beans and ends up more like a lettuce burrito. Service is usually great.
