I live in Manteca and yesterday I went to this Chipotle which is literally just down the street from us. We love chipotle and we go at least once every 2 weeks or so, as I never had any problems with service and the food is always great. However, I cannot say the same after the service that I received yesterday. My family and I were working all day and around 5:30pm finally got a chance to grab something to eat. Like stated earlier, we live a block away from Chipotle so decided to get three vegetarian salads to go. I got there and ordered the three salads. I also requested salad dressing and salsa for each of them, which the lady was fine with and half filled 3 containers with salad dressing and salsa. Then before she checked out my order, I also told the lady that I wanted to buy 2 bags of tortilla chips and pointed out what salsa I wanted with each bag of chips. At that point she told me it would cost extra for the salsa. When I tried to explain to her that I was asking for the salsas that go with the chips, she pointed to the salsa that she has given me with the salad. I asked her doesn’t the chips come with a container of salsa each? And obviously she didnt have a problem giving me the salsa earlier with the salad. She didnt know at that point that I was also getting 2 bags of chips. So it doesnt make sense that she points at the salsa for the chips. I dont understand what I would be eating the chips with if it doesnt come with the salsa. Am I supposed to eat the chips alone? Even on the Chipotle website on the menu, under the “sides” section, it says chips + guac or chips and salsa. So obviously, salsa is included with the purchase of the chips. However, she refused to listen to me or even understand what I was trying to say. All she could do was repeat that there is an additional charge for the salsa. If that is true then why have I always gotten a container of salsa with each order of chips? This really ruined my mood and my experience with Chipotle to the point that I will not be returning again to waste my money and more importantly, to be humiliated. For just 2 extra containers of salsa, which maybe costs $1.00 each, they lost my order of at least $25-$30 and any future business of mine or my family’s, as I just left after the lady refused to understand what I was trying to explain to her. And honestly there is Chipotle is the only fast food chain that I know that charges for their salsa. Taco bell, Del Taco, Green Burrito, etc do not charge for their sauce. If I wanted I could have just gone to a Mexican restaurant even and just had unlimited chips and salsa which is complementary, instead of having to pay extra for 2 half filled containers of salsa which should have already been included in the order of chips. I know that all fast food chains are different and this is the way that chipotle does it, which is fine. However I just don’t understand why I don’t get a container of sauce with my order of chips when it has always been the case and it is clearly advertised this way on the website? I know, this is ridiculous that I am fighting for just having to pay maybe $2 to $3 extra for 2 containers of salsa, but paying additional money for the salsa container should already be included is not getting my money’s worth. And more importantly, the manner in which the employee was talking to me and not giving me proper service is also ridiculous. I definitely won’t be a loyal costumer anymore for Chipotle. In and Out Burger is in the same complex. Why not save my money, as In and Out’s menu is much cheaper than Chipotle, but also this way at least I won’t be humiliated at In and Out. They care about customer service and please their customers. If I pay for something there, I know that I am receiving my money’s worth. They don’t false advertise. With Chipotle, obviously there is no guarantee or consistency.

Foods good if you like it to taste like it was homemade that a white mother made. Im not a big fan of lime rice but my girlfriends mothers is better. And the burrito was mostly rice, wish there was more meat. My opinion La Costa is way better. I was the only Mexican in there and the rest were white so if your white and like white food this place is for you, the only thing is its overpriced. So whether you like authentic or not your still going to find yourself paying more then you want.

Chipotle is one of my favorite places to it. Unfortunately, this last time around on 08/06/2014 I was extremely disappointed. They were skimpy on the rice and meat for my bowl & my daughters burrito decreased about 4 inches in size. For the priced, they should not be skimpy. If Chipotle doesnt make this right, I will not be returning.

The food is good. I like Chipotle because customizing your food is very painless. It is so easy to add extra veggies or leave out the meat. Would have given 5 stars but this place is usually so crowded. This can mean a long line. Customer service is not bad, though could be improved.

This place is garbage now. Horrible customer service. Overpriced for the LITTLE amount of food they actually give you. Seems they caught on with "pay more get less". And how the hell do you get "Mexican grill" out of this. They are about as mexican as Taco Bell

This place reminds me of Arizona and New Mexico, they have that very diverse taste of the south, without the bother of really going there. They really captured the whole experience with their food and the decorations and atmosphere.

Chipotle is Chipotle ,food is always decent . The service at this location is shoty, never consistently good service 75% service is terrible 25% of the time service is good. Im guessing its because of the employee turn over rate.

Mexican food is Simple and fresh. Food is fresh, nice spicy flavored and simple. I have not been here lately but it is a place to try authentic Mexican food. The food is way healthier than other fast foods.

We visited Manteca Chipolte on June 6, 2016 about 1:30 pm. We found the staff, especially Lisa, to be Fast and Friendly. Great Customer Service. I am sure that we will return. Thanks for a great lunch.

Consistent quality and flavor makes for a predictable experience. I like the "make it my way" serving counter so you can add or omit items. There is often a line at dinner. Fast food interior.
