palo mesa is the only game in town, and they have good food if you can get it. BUT, if you get delivery, you get CRAP. they are happy to answer their phones "palo mesa makes you happy", and they are happy to charge you for the extras you desire. HOWEVER, they dont provide you with items you have PAID for, and they burn the good stuff. Palo Mesa is great if you pick up and can check the food, if you leave it to delivery they burn your food, overcharge you, expect a tip ( which we always have given) and deliver you half of your BURNT food at twice the cost. Palo Mesa needs to step up, they have great pizza and food, but their quality control is laughable. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! This is not an isolated event. I hope Im able to upload a picture of what we recieved for "dinner".... NO THANKS.

The pizza is good but the service is lacking. We order some pizza for delivery for our hungry kids. They said it would be over an hour so we waited. About an hour and a half they called and said they forgot to make our order and asked if we still want it. When we asked they said it would still take over an hour to get our pizza because they are busy. They couldnt seem to understand that I should have been a top priority and not just someone that just called. We cancelled the order. Super disspointing since they are they only ones that deliver to us and we are less than 10mins from them. They got 3 stars since they ended up giving me a free pizza for my troubles after calling back later to complain and it was pretty good. I havnt ordered from them again though

Very disappointed with this place. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and 45 min later I had to ask what happened. The girl at the counter said . We have been busy and had no idea what happened to my pizza. Some excuse about putting it somewhere and forgetting about it. She gave me the options to remake or refund me. But since my whole table was done eating I had not time for the remake. She was very unapologetic and I felt she should have offered to refund by drink as well since I never got my dinner. I hope someone works with their employees to show them how to treat customers. One Star only because there is no zero star option.

I love this place! We pick up pizza from Palo about once a week. We get the Hot Hawaiian and a build your own most of the time and it is the best pizza on the Central Coast... and we have tried them all. In the past, we would drive more than 15 minutes one way to get our pizza, so you know we are serious about our pizza. We are also fans of their chicken. It is "broasted" instead of deep fried and their batter maybe has a darker tint... so it looks a little different (some people think it is burnt but it is not) but it tastes great and is better for you.

Suuuuper slowwww delivery service... ordered 1 pizza and it took 1.5 hrs... we live 5 min away. When we called they blew us off like that was totally normal. Not sure what kind of business they want to do for locals but it leaves a lot to be desired... for the price of their pizza you would think it would be excellent service. Dont order from them until they manage things better.

The pizza crust is crispy and thicker than you would expect, and the toppings are about the right amount for the price. The staff is overall friendly and courteous, but not very attentive to what you might need. Also, this may be a temporary issue, but there is some kind of musty smell coming from the restroom that can be sensed throughout the restaurant.

Tasty but PRICEY! Looked at their menu online which said $18.95 for the medium pizza I wanted. When I called in to order the total came to $24.95! WHOAH! I think its been awhile since the website has been updated. The pizza was good, just make sure you have a wide enough plate because the toppings go everywhere when you pick up a slice.

Palo Mesa is great.. Love the calzone for lunch. My family loves the Hawaiian with white sauce. The Hot Hawaiian on the menu is a little too spicy for us, so we just get a regular Hawaiian. We love the crust. Normally we get delivery, but every time we have gone in for pickup, everyone is friendly and happy. GREAT PLACE!! GIVE IT A TRY!!

The Greek Pizza alone deserves 5 stars. The BW (buffalo) pizza was not very traditional and that is the only reason why Im not giving them five stars. It was still a great pizza but just not what I was expecting or hoping for
