Overall, this place is just "ok", and a slight disappointment considering all the glowing reviews. The service was excellent though. My waitress there was named Janet. Shes an older waitress and very nice. But the food was nothing too special in my opinion. Yes, the fried chicken was fresh. But the batter was very thin and did not cover the entire chicken piece. I expected fried batter to be the first outer layer, with the actual chicken skin to be the 2nd layer, but that was not the case. Instead it was mostly skin with very little batter if any. And skip the fish & chips. It is not beer battered, rather it is breaded like something out of a Gorton Fishermans frozen food box. For reference, I prefer the battered type fried chicken similar to Pioneer Chicken from the 80s and early 90s.

Chicken very tasty, but a little greaser than home made fried chicken. Potato salad was excellent, and I normally dont care for potatoes salad. Garlic bread very good. Beans had a BBQ sauce flavor, so I did not eat. We loved the quaintness of the restaurant and the waitress was so nice and genuine. She made the experience much nicer. I would have given 4.5 stars if it were available. i think if the chicken were pan fried, it wouldnt be quite so greasy.

Used to be better. The lady running or who owns it is a bit short tempered. Food was overcooked, salad was half asked and the place itself is outdated and dirty. Youd get better food and have a better chance to not get food poisoning by buying food from a corner taco stand. To top it off the bill was outrageous. No where near what the price should be. And the restroom? Come on. Im stretching with two stars.

I loved the food here. It was good, it was filling. The location is a little odd, though. The waitress could have been a bit more chipper, too. She was more like "meh" attitude. But anyway, I ordered the Chicken Snack and loved it. Two pieces of chicken, "fat fries", garlic bread, and a choice of salad. We all chose the green salad and it was surprisingly really fresh. I would definitely go back.

The food was fantastic, the service was incredible! The 3 waiters that served us were extremely nice! I will definitely be back! Best burgers Ive had! And my husband says its the best wings hes had!! Not to mention the inside looked cool, had a vintage country feel! But all completely welcoming :) most definitely recommend

Went in today and had their chicken and waffles, and it was the best chicken and waffles that Ive ever tasted and Ive been to LA and eight at Roscoes which is supposed to be the best but without a doubt chicken man is far superior than any other place a very including Roscoes!

Chicken man has the best fried chicken dinner you could ever have you get 4 pieces of chicken beans salad french fries and garlic bread and the chicken is awesome its juicy and crispy at the same time you never leave here hungry and you always have extras for another meal

The best fried chicken in town...like ever. Such perfection! The only downside is they dont serve mashed potatoes. But thats not why you come here, you come here for the chicken and its crispy juicy tasty fried perfection. The best. Ever. Highly recommend this place.
