My friend usually gets onion rings from this place. I grew up being near it and almost never going in it. Good memories, though. Most recent time I was told the lady giving him his bag didnt even ask anything, so we didnt have ranch. 3 or so orders, and you dont think to add more ranch?! No 5 stars for that. Hopefully hell remember to get me a burger next time. The last one I remember was a while ago, but it was a double bacon, I believe. Theyve also updated their website and their menu has grown, so if you want to prepare yourself ahead of time, look at the menu from the site. They even have prices, and if youre a penny pincher, youll love that they do. $20 usually nets a meal for 2 with possibly excess or bloating. (If youre a big eater, then probably not, fill up on soda and youre good. Or get an extra item like more rings.) Ive yet to try the fried zucchini. I hear theyre not bad. I love the onion rings and fries.

ATTENTION OWNER OF VARSITY BURGERS: I have been coming to this restaurant for years since I live only a few blocks away but this past Sunday, September 25, 2016, I had a grilled chicken salad with a side of hard boiled eggs and two hours after eating said salad I began to get seriously ill. I should have suspected the food wasnt good because the egg slices looked soggy and tasted odd. Its been 5 days of illness as a result of the virus that I got after eating this salad. I have been out from work and out from school just waiting to get better. I really hope the owner reads this post. I would not like to judge the restaurant because of the grossly incompetence and recklessness of one or multiple of his or her employees. The doctor told me I have a viral infection which arose from salmonella or another viral/bacterial infection.

Im in LOVE with Varsity burger. I think Ive have just landed in fatty heaven, or maybe hell because all these good food will make your scale hate you. If I was on a diet, ALLLL my cheat day will be spent at Varsity burger, where the food is good, and the price is so reasonable. Why spend your hard earn cash at fast food joint who crank out a bazillion hamburger patties a day without caring if it is quality of not? There are lots of good things to try on the menu, and if you happen to be in the neighborhood and want to reward yourself, because you are your own best friend, and nobody treats you better than yourself, try VARSITY BURGER! MUST haves: 1. Chilly Cheese fries ($3.79) big enough to serve 3 with lots of meat and gooey cheese. 2. Colossal Burger ($2.79): pastrami, veggies, Swiss cheese

I was expecting quite more from a resturant to be honest. It wasnt bad in terms of food quality and taste, but presentation and resturant appearance was quite lacking. Dont get me wrong, the food was good, very filling and made with skill, but when I arrived, if appeared it was very popular with the high school crows, very varsity football crowd. The resturant wasnt very modern as the parking and presentation was very run down, it almost reminded me of a hotel from the 1920s. The only modern upside was the payment method which was confusing as they called my number which appeared completely different than on my receipt. Wouldnt go there again.

The burgers here are great. The fries are pretty good. Way better burger and fries then In & out any day. They give a good amount of food as well, cant complain about that. However I cannot give it 5 stars only because the onions are terrible, raw onion, no seasoning to the taste, way too thick (in a bad way) tasted like just dough or something. Anyways I will continue coming here simply because like I mentioned the bacon cheeses burger is great however there onion rings and zucchinis do not go in accordance to the quality of there burgers.

Ive been here a about 7 times. The service is usually below average or poor. I wanted this place to thrive, its been there forever. The reason for the two stars is due to the service and the food. My main problem with the food is how greasy it is. Ive tried the food the last 4 times and afterwards my stomach turned to mush and felt like throwing up. It also cause me to have to use a bottle of pepto, I believe its due to the amount of grease they use or the fact that they might not change it out very often.

If everyone cant make up their minds on what to get (mex,burgers,rice bowls, etc) then just go here. The menu is huge and staff will make you anything you want if its a reasonable alteration of the already expansive item selection. Staff is great and incredibly friendly - the manager works right at the front with everyone else so any issues are resolved immediately. Great tasting food with huge portion sizes and great prices. Love this place and it is a must for locals.

The lunch here is solid! Best damn fries Ive ever had from any fast food joint or restaurant. They dont charge you for extra ranch? Alert the damn media! Damn these socialists! Their breakfast is alright, nothing special, but it definitely is a step up from other places (especially for the price). During peak breakfast and lunch hours this place is crazy busy, but that speaks to its quality. Er... lots of cops around too. So, uh, watch yo selves...

I went through the drive thru and ordered the carne asada cheese fries and a regular size coke. As I pulled up to the window to pay, a young woman by the name Alma wasnt so warming when helping. She had quite an attitude problem while being of assistance. I might possible only come back when she isnt there, mainly because I would like to be welcomed with joy and enthusiasm.

I took my kids here before a game because of the good reviews and yelp had a deal..... What other people didnt say was this place is shady as hell! The carne asada tacos tasted like corn tortillas, dont buy them...my kids got breakfast burritos and said it was ok. Nothing special about this place dont let the other reviews mislead you

Food is great! Lots to choose from. Im going to miss this place, it is the classic high schoolers after school hang out place. In the morning its every senior citizens haven! If you are looking for a great burger and dont want to spend your money at the disneyland resort, its nearby and really great!

I love this place. The food is cooked very well and the kitchen is not filthy not spic and span but not nasty like some that I have experienced. They do need more adults working there . The manager is always so warm when I come in. It feels like a good day when I see him. Very good food!!!!
