Mango Lassi is Tandoori Garden’s homemade yogurt blended with imported mango pulp from India, crushed ice, and topped with a few drops of rose water. This is the best mango smoothie you’ll ever have. It was ice cold, creamy, and packed full of mango flavor. Indian mango is very different than Hawaiian mango. It tasted more like a papaya. The color was a vibrant orange like pureed pumpkin. The rose water added a sweet, floral aroma and flavor to the drink. It was a nice touch! Thumbs up, way up! Garlic Naan is garnished with freshly chopped garlic, coriander leaves, and baked in a clay oven. Slightly crispy outside, yet chewy, it was baked just right. It had an excellent garlic flavor. The coriander leaves were a fresh and flavorful touch. Thumbs up, way up! Full order of Chicken Tandoori is quartered pieces of young succulent chicken that has been marinated overnight in their signature blend of herbs and spices. The cooks at Tandoori Gardens have learned the art of tandoori very well. This has to be the best tandoori chicken I’ve ever had. The pieces were fall-off-the-bone juicy, even the white meat. The tandoori locked in the flavor and made it juicy and tender, almost like broasted chicken but without the oil. The marinade was subtle but brought out the essence of the chicken. Thumbs up, way up! Chicken Tikka Masala is boneless chicken cooked in a Tandoor and prepared in a yogurt butter cream sauce. Wow! The chicken absorbed the spices in the sauce which was creamy and light. It looks heavy, but you’ll definitely love it. The sauce reminded me of chipotle cream sauce without the heat. Order a side of basmati rice or naan so you can sop up the sauce. You don’t want to waste a drop as the sauce makes this dish extraordinary. Thumbs up, way up! Lamb Saag is boneless pieces of tender lamb, cooked in spinach and blended with their signature herbs and spices. This dish is one of my all-time favorites in Indian cuisine and Tandoori Garden makes a really great one. The lamb was so tender like the perfect beef stew, almost melts in your mouth. The spinach was cooked down and with the juices from the lamb and spices and made a lovely gravy-like sauce. Use your naan to scoop it up as you don’t want to waste a drop of this one either. Thumbs up, way up!

Different people have different experience and opinion about the service of a business. I ate there 3 times in 2010 and got a very reasonable food. But this year I must say they showed their real face. I ordered "Mild Very Mild" food and what I got in return is Extremely Hot and on top of that when I called them back to replace the order the chef himself came over the phone saying that he took the order and he insisted that I asked for Medium spices. I dont understand how come Mild Very Mild statement is similar to Medium. He was completely illiterate for sure and didnt know how to speak in english. Not only that, he forgot to give me rice which is one of the main item of the food and they also give 2 tandoori chicken pieces which was actually even half of it as they made two pieces out of one. They refused to replace the order. Had it been an American restaurant, you get a full refund and they say sorry to you. But this Indian cuisine is never going to make to that level even though they charge much more than american and serve such bad food with poor customer service, the worst part of their customer service is that he was arguing in bad english that he took the correct order and didnt even say sorry for once that he forgot to serve the rice. I know they dont serve this kind of food everyday. But I am sure as I placed order at 9:30 pm which is close to their shut down time. He served me left over food. This is not the first time I had such bad experience with Indian cuisine but I am no more going for other Indian restaurants. Just because of one, whole community pays.

OMG! First time going cuz I was craving samosa chaat. Order it to go cuz hubby & 3 kids waiting in car. Took them over half an hour! There was some heated discussion going on between the cooks in back and waiters regarding order they placed! After thats was Finally over...guy at front who took my little order told them to hurry up (in punjabi). The "cook" said will get done when he gets done! Then front guy said "madam has to go!! Cook rudely says shell go when Im done! Guess he didnt know I can understand his language just fine!!! Soooo I told him in punjabi got kids getting uneasy waiting..need to get going! Sooo he was probably stunned and shut up cuz no sound after that. Now the order and taste ....the worst ever!!!! I came home to dig in and literally was stunned!!! It was NOT ASSEMBLED. Gave me the ingredients so I had to figure out and put it together. WORSE OF ALL WAS THEIR PACKING!!! WHO PACKS SMALL STYROFOAM CUPS WITH LIL PIECE OF ALUMINUM FOIL AND THROWS IT IN THE BAG!!!! I was appalled at the mess!!! They owe me a car wash!!! Samosa tasted few days old and seemed like was fried a few times! Rubber shoe would taste better! Neverrrrr going again. There are other choices in the area so be wise!

I would sincerely avoid this restaurant if you can . The restaurant does advertise that they are open till 10:00p but when we called them at 9:15p they refused to seat but insisted us for a take out . Since we were hungry on a busy day after Disneyland trip we agreed for a take out and ordered accordingly. The food was ready by the time we drove in , But when we came back to our hotel we found the order was completely messed and on top of it tasted terrible. After paying almost $40 plus dollar for dinner we felt we were served leftovers and we ended up throwing the food and ordered pizza instead.

The food was quite good. We especially liked the lamb tikka masala. It was also very nicely decorated - better than most Indian restuarants that weve been to. The only gripe that we had was that they charge extra for the rice. We ordered 2 sides of rice which added another $8 to the bill. Rice is usually included at most restaurants. I noticed the place was fairly empty, which was surprising because of the quality of the food. I belive that the reason is that people dont like getting hit with a hidden charge when they get their bill - get upset and dont come back.
