I ate here because I read the meat they used was above average. Pros: I ordered a chicken burrito. There was alot of lean white meat in it Cons: 1) The beans they used also have ALOT of lard in them, and are VERY THICK and HEAVY 2) The green sauce they gave me on the side (when you buy a burrito / tacos you can get green or red sauce to put on your food - like at a "salsa bar"). The green sauce they gave me wasnt fresh, it was sort of "clumpy" and had a sour / off taste to it I MIGHT go there again and try their tacos - but ILL NEVER get ANYTHING from them that has beans - like a combo with rice and beans - NO WAY - WAY TOO MUCH LARD! Of course lard in beans tastes good, in tortillas it tastes good too - but it CLOGS your arteries! It also can cause heartburn if it is too thick and greasey, which the beans here ARE Overall, I would not recommend eating here because it is so UNHEALTHY

This was my first time trying authentic tamales from not trader joes. I ordered the chicken and the cheese tamales. The chicken one was exceedingly dry. I had it with a red sauce and it was slightly better. I then went into the cheese one and it had jalapeños in it which was too hot for me. I wish it would have been better. I lived in the mexican side of korea town near Alvarado park. There was a lady that would come on weekends screaming TAMALES!!! TAMALES!!! TAMALES!! Maybe I shoulda taken my chances with the street tamale. The world will never know. I will say the tamales were less than $5 for 2... MaryYourSoul(dot)com

The service was absolutely great from my entrance to the end of my meal. I got the carne asada burrito mojado. It was very tasty and had a good kick of spice with it. I would have liked rice in the burrito, but it was fine because I was still stuffed with what I got. I checked in on Yelp and got also a free drink with my meal. I got the strawberry drink which was good. The other option was a tamarind drink. They also have $1 tacos (with the purchase of a drink) on Tuesdays. Ill have to come back for that!

Most Authentic Mexican food I have had since living in Mexico, and at un unbeleivable price too! I had a Torta the first time I went and it was amazing! The last time I went I had the tacos de asada and they were perfect! Ill be back to eat there soon and try something new! I thought there beans were good too, full of flavor!

The food is good but for some reason everytime I order something to go they always end up messing on my order. Therefore I always end up eating something that I did not order. I mean I dont think theres a language barrier since I normally place my order in Spanish.
