What else could you ask for in a friendly neighborhood bar? Great staff, live music and entertainment, plus delish cocktails - the Ivy Room has it all! The owners are always so nice and accommodating while bringing a sense of community and excellent customer service. Its great to see this local bar back and better than ever. The drinks are so yum that I even dropped into one of their mixology classes for their secrets. Check it out for yourself! Stop being a lame, gear up, go walk your cat err... whatever, grab a neighbor and get your drink on!

Got to LOVE the Ivy Room :) !! This is a bar we go for a drink every now and then, and once we were thinking of holding a friends party, the Ivy Room felt like the perfect place :) ! So, we had the party last week and it was amazing !!! The place is really cool, and could easily accommodate all our guests (about a 100 of us), the bar and bar tenders were amazing!! The sound system was perfect and the two DJs we had got us all fired-up !! Thank you Ivy Room team !! Get ready for our party next year ;) ...

We really love this bar! The new decor is casual and sexy -- and not nearly as "loungy" as the former version. The drinks are great (I especially recommend the Tequila drinks), and the staff is friendly and skilled. When I took a friend of mine to the Ivy Room he got angry that we have so many great bars in Albany, while there are so many lousy bars everywhere else. Cant recommend the Ivy Room enough.

So glad someone took over this classic East Bay bar who knows what theyre doing. Cocktails are serious and bartenders off the hook, with a big but subtle nod to tequila and mezcal. Great beers on tap and a really good hang for live music. Definitely a destination again.

Ghetto people. EXTREMELY rude bouncer who basically belittled my friend for forgetting his I.D. in the car (friend is 23). The bar itself had nothing special. I stayed for 10 minutes then left. Do yourself a favor and avoid the place until you like ghetto dives.

This place is Magical. Awesome people. Great atmosphere. Bartender Sam is great at making craft drinks. If you rock out at the Ivy. Make sure you leave a Guitar Pick...... They use them to add a little flare to the decor.

The term "mixologist" is thrown around casually. But, in the case of The Ivy Room, their bartenders deserve the title. Whether for their quality drinks or vast selection of music, Albany Room is "the place" to go.

Saw my 1st and last performance at this club this past weekend. Not only are they apparently Antifa terrorist sympathizers, they are cowards when called out on it. I will never walk through their doors again.

Fun place for live music, but shotgun-style room makes it nearly impossible to view bands unless (TIP!) youre seated @ 1 of 3 booths against far wall. One bartender good, the other bartender spacey.

Historically, this place has been through a lot of changes. As a Musician, I like how the layout and the vibe of the place is today. I have high hopes for the future of this classic East Bay dive!

Cool layout, good music. I like the diverse age groups here. I cant stand going to bars with a bunch of young 20 somethings. Love establishments that welcome everyone. It makes it less d-baggy!

Great space to hear music! The bartender was friendly and quick on his feet. Definitely will be coming back to see more music , which they have most nights of the week. Clearly a local favorite.

Went there last night for their comedy open mic night. Super fun and relaxing. They have a good drink menu and comfortable couches for lounging. I will definitely be returning!
