Definitely pass. The waiter here was pretty inefficient. He hardly let us tell him we wanted water then we ordered oyster shooters. He came by ten minutes later, still no silverware or napkins on the table and He was surprised we didnt get our shooters. Shouldnt it have been him to bring them out??? He went to the bar a few minutes later and dumbfounded brought them over. Then about five plus minutes later he took our order. He didnt even ask what side I wanted and I had to remind him myself, as the meal came with it. He asked which kind of fries I wanted looking at me like I should just know the difference. His tone was completely condescending. Then after the rest of our order he asks us to separate our table. Thats fine I guess because we only needed half. Then I saw a spot at the window opened. I asked if we could have it and more attitude from him saying other people get it. Finally about five to ten minutes later he comes back to me saying were out of oysters. He should of told me that awhile ago!! I was annoyed and wanted to leave at that point. I asked to talk to the manager and guess what, more attitude from this guy. Eventually a manager came out and agreed to give 10% off and adjusted the bill on the computer. So instead of this waiter closing out our bill quickly at that point he proceeded to ignore us. I ended up getting another waiter to bring our bill because this one was so incompetent he couldnt even do that. Im pretty sure I got the worst waiter tonight of the two. The other one seemed competent. The oyster shot was decent but zero for the service.

Food and drinks were pretty awesome but service was not that great. I understand it was rather busy for a Monday but upon entrance to the bar we were ignored 20 mins passed when I asked a busser where to order drinks he responded Ill get some one to take your order. Another 20 mins passed no one came over. Eventually we were seated. All went well til the check. Waitress tried to give us the Ole okie doke and tried to act like gratuity wasnt included in the check already. Well played. Im not trying to knock anyones hustle but not going to happen to me. Long story short go there, have fun, and enjoy your drinks but watch your receipt and be prepared to advocate for any type of service

Their sliders are great, the beer keeps coming, and the staff is friendly in this neighborhood joint. If I go when its not busy, its a wonderful experience. If its crowded, sometimes it seems like I have to wait longer than I have patience for. The thing is, Im very grateful this place is popular. They are truly part of what makes Hercules a great town.

Great local place for a variety of in season Oysters (their specialty), standard american menu, and a smallish but cool bar to have a pint and watch a game on the smallish flat screen with the locals. Lets be honest, the kitchen gets backed up more than it should, but I still go. A few times the wait had me going somewhere else after I got there though.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great beer and good food. Whats not to like? It would be nice if there were more options for those with various food issues - if youre vegetarian who is gluten intolerant, for example, youll be limited to a salad - but, otherwise, its a great place for tasty bites and a cool pint, served with a smile.

The Bartender "Chris" ignored myself and my party of 5 the entire visit. After 30 minutes with 5 empty glasses, we decided to leave and patronize an establishment that was attentive to my party and our needs! My company and I will never visit this restaurant again. AÖIR RECORDS LLC

The restaurant is in a small town only a few minutes off of I-80. The service was fast and friendly. There is limited seating on the patio street side. The place has a great feel and the history of the town based on production of explosives was very interesting to learn about.

Get the Nuggets appetizer and flavored fries. Request an extra side of garlic aioli sauce and minced garlic then add to the deliciously flavored fries and youll have a great, albiet garlicy, dish of fries. The oysters are fresh and tastey. Good beer options. Friendly staff.

The atmosphere is very relaxed - great place for drinks or dinner. The brunch is good too with several different takes on the traditional egss benedict. I like their outdoor tables in summertime, and the surrounding neighborhood is super cute.

We had lunch at Powder Keg last Sunday. It was a beautiful day to sit outside. This Pub is in a quiet neighborhood. If I lived there, I would eat here frequently. The food was very good, the service excellent.

We had the best waitress and the food was amazing. Atmosphere on the patio was fabulous with a view of the bay down the street that looks straight out of desperate housewives. Its a gem!!
