Locally owned and operated, Whistlestop BBQ can always be counted on for a hearty southern meal. The menus selection is great, and every meal Ive had there has been nothing short of stellar. Being a Texan, I consider myself to be a bit of a barbecue elitist, but Whistlestops cuisine passes the test. Definitely make sure to try some of the dessert as well. The décor is incredibly unique, showcasing the history of Searcy and the South as a whole. The wait staff is very polite and helpful, and the prices are pretty good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time today, and we have decided its one of our favorite places to eat BBQ. The atmosphere is great and we got to hear a live acoustic performance while we ate. The food is amazing!! There are quite a few options as far as sauce goes, and all of the sauces are on the table for you to try. If you like sweet BBQ sauce you will enjoy the Kansas sweet sauce.

The food is usually good. But they kept raising their prices until they couldnt raise them anymore. Then they seemed to have reduced the portion sizes. The last time I ordered brisket, I got two thin strips. And the last time I was in, they took thirty minutes to prepare my order. And they still managed to get it wrong.

I tried to order a large amount of food for an event. I called them at least five times and they either hung up on me or said they would call back and never did. We went to Dickeys instead and they were more than happy to take our money. I wont be using whistle stop again.

BBQ is best in town. 5 sauces from which to choose. Sides are decent (sweet potato fries are A+). Slightly ess expensive than most other ribs in town (not all). Atmosphere is "diner with nostalgic decorations." Live band sometimes plays outside.

Fried Green tomatoes were ROCK had, the ribs were burnt, my sons fries were cold! And then they charged us $60! My family will NEVER eat there again and we are going to let everyone know!!

Good food and service. Had the catfish. Nicely breaded with good hushpuppies. Not sure what kind of dressing was in the slaw. It was different but tasty. The service was good and friendly.

The best ribs in Searcy, Arkansas. The atmosphere is great too. Theres a lot of neat antiques and memorabilia lining the walls and a country band that plays on Tuesday nights.

Stopped in for the 1st time. Had some of the BEST ribs Ive ever eaten. Price was great potatoes fries sauces it was all perfect. Makes me happy knowing Ill be back there asap.
