Interesting Blues and Barbecue Themed Restaurant I thought the icon Slim Chicken was a Black man from a distance. That is what drew my attention to the resaturant. Once I got closer to the sign I realized that ithe icon is a chicken dressed up like a Black man. He is wearing a hat cocked to one side like a soul brother. The restaurant plays blues music. It is an attempe to main stream franchise the chicken shacks from the Black Community. the food was good but not authenitc. I enjoyed the music but the staff was not into Blues music, so they kept changing the playlist. I found the constant changing of the palylist annoying. I really wanted to hear some good Blues music. Let it play.

I probably go here three times/week, on average. The food comes out quick, its fresh, and the people are generally friendly. My wife loves it and our friends love it. If your friends didnt love it, wed suggest new friends who appreciate the good things in life. We love local establishments, and this started right down the road in Fayetteville. Quality food is just as important though, and Slims has stood the test of time and I think most everyone who goes would choose to come back as long as their first experience wasnt lunchtime on Sunday. Warning: you may not find a seat on Sunday lunch when the churches let out and families come for the kids eat free.

Went here because Ive heard people rave about it. I was shocked with how bad it was. The chicken had been so pumped with water it tastes just like that, watery chicken. Not only that but they were so small, barely larger than the average chicken nugget. The Texas toast was soggy on one side and burnt on the other. I ended up throwing the other one away. The fries were the only redeeming item in my meal. But not worth the cost go there again. (Though even if the tenders were free I wouldnt eat them again. Never had such tasteless meat with the slight after taste of chicken)

Under cooked hot wings. I spoke to the manger and was told that was not possible because they have controls in place to prevent that from happening. I returned to restaurant and showed the under cooked wings to the manager. He said they changed to larger wings and that is why they were not done.

Great fresh food and extraordinary service for a quick lunch stop. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Chicken, sauce and French fries all outstanding. Worth every penny. The people who work here are phenomenal. Whenever we drive through this area of AR we make a point to stop here.

Our favorite place for chicken. Always Cookes after you place your order, so it takes a little longer, but the freshness and quality is well worth the wait. Portions are generous and the fried pickles are the best around.

Was placed on hold for 15 MINS!!!! and tried unsuccessfully calling back 35 TIMES OVER A 30 MIN PERIOD AND THE LINE WAS BUSY!!!!!!!! Get more phone lines people. I was trying to place a large lunch order

Gloriously unhealthy, but deliciously addictive. Slims Sauce & peach tea for life! They do have salads if you want something on the lighter side, but honestly, how can you resist the tenders or wings?

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff the most. I didnt care for the chicken much. Seemed like it was baked with flower on it. I am from out of town and will try it again. 4 stars for now.

Fast and friendly service when dinning in. The drive thru is not as fast. Great food but I only go when Im I have time to eat there due to the long wait when going though the drive thru.

The staff is friendly and the service is good. If you like wings its a solid choice for taste. As far as it being fast food it can be on the more expensive side, but it is chicken wings.

Im a loyal slims follower! This location is great! Slims plate is a good go to. The salads are also good for a healthy option. They recently changed to shredded carrots in the salads
