This "Super JJ Fish & Chicken," located at 213 S. Larkin Ave. in Joliet, Il. (60436) in the United States of America is a super place to dine in and, I trust, to carry out, as well. Although I have experienced the pleasure of dining in only twice and have yet to request a carry-out order, I gladly express the greatest of enthusiasm for mouth-wateringly scrumptious catfish nuggets, chicken tenders, savory and extra crispy fries, bread, and a yummy tangy cocktail sauce. Best of all, however, is the gracious hospitality that I receive; so, in addition to the outstanding food, the welcoming atmosphere is the other essential reason why I sincerely hope to return quite often. Most fortunately, while staying at the exquisitely beautiful and immaculately clean Clarion Hotel-Joliet, only a few blocks south on Larkin Avenue, I have been blest to walk leisurely in the area and find what I might refer to as "best-kept secrets" along the way. Nearby and beckoning my appetite each time that I pass, I have an extremely positive hunch that I shall visit "Super JJ Fish and Chicken" frequently. I admit that the batter is much like that of beloved Grandma DelMargos...Oh, what a sweetly heartening memory that had been evoked when I took the first bite of a nugget--steaming/piping hot, too! Kindness shown to me by the chef and other staff also is unforegettable. Consequently, I include in this review every good wish for a wonderfully peaceful, healthful, and prosperous New Year 2017 for everyone associated with this fine restaurant. The wings were very small and fried hard even when I asked them not to fry the wings hard. The inside of the wing was dark in color all the way to the bone. I asked for lemon pepper and it was like they poured a whole bottle on the wings (extremely salty). I will Never order from here again. When I called to complain the person on the phone was rude and nasty. I came from Bolingbrook, but Never again.

I have eaten from this place many times and its usually great today I ordered and my fries were dark brown and tasted like fish when I called and talked to the manager he really didnt seem to care the last time I was there, there were ppl saying the to watch out that they were served spoiled food these ppl are ridiculous never eating there again!

Was trying to order food. When I called he kept yelling WHAT! And then mid order he says I have to put you on hold. Didnt press the hold button I suppose and I here his conversation talking about someone who just left the place in a negative way. Very unprofessional.

This is the slowest place in the world placed a order at 4:30 for 40 Wings she said she cant have them done until 6:00pm ugggh!### Okay fine I come back at 5:4pm guess what no Wings until 6:30pm never again! !
