Live around the corner from this place and have tried for years but its the same sad story. I really want to love this place with its mountany look and feel and all but it just does not deliver what I assume would be a proper ozark country meal. The food is soaked in grease from excessive cooking oil, potatoes are burned everytime (they might look into cleaning their cook tops), bacon tastes very odd. The worst part is you go in and come out smelling like a grease pit from all of the smoke and grease in the air... They should look into their cooking vents in the kitchen lol. Do not wear nice clothes inside as they will be saturated in grease fumes for the day! For a place that has a sign inside touting "central Arkansas best breakfast" they sure must be delusional. This place is BADLY in need of a refresh, deep cleaning, health inspection and new management (well, the servers are always nice). The man that checks you out is impersonal and wont even look you in the eye upon checkout. Smile man, you work at (what could be) a really awesome breakfast spot! Side note, who put up that cheesy zerox vinyl sign out front?..looks like something youd see in Branson or on a service road in Benton. AND why is your deck always closed? Would be an awesome brunch spot in the fall and spring (tip).

Not 2 stars 0 stars (cant figure out how to change the star). I would not even give it 1 star. It cost my husband and I $25 to eat breakfast. He had to send his scramble eggs bak 3 times, he wanted them dry, they still had runny egg whites in them. The 3rd time she stuck in the microwave and put more cheese to cover the ugliness. He did not eat them. Our bacon tasted like ruint pig so we cudnt eat the bacon. Someone else commented bugs in the window seal and they were there today 12/17/2015. My husband saw them but i didnt if i had we wud have left before ordering. The place was just dirty looking and smelled of old grease so bad so now thats all we can smell in our hair and clothes. The waitress was lacking social skills and kept sniffing the whole time then sneezed on a table without covering her nose...i really feel like throwing up right now!! The sad thing is i called before to make sure they served breakfast and the man said they had the best breakfast in little Rock... i beg to differ. Then one of the workers had straggly long hair hanging from his chin with no hair net. Plum disgusting l!!! The bathroom had no soap which tells me they dont wash their hands. Never will go bak!!!

I was hesitant to eat there because when we walked in, the place had dead bugs on the window sills by the tables, the place looked dirty, and the employees didnt look clean. However, The food was alright (my potatoes were a little burnt) BUT not good for what we were charged. We paid 27.00 for two Steak Omelettes and 2 soda drinks. Didnt make sense because a single omelette was 8.99$. Doing the math.. 2 omelettes is 17.98. Two soda drinks CANT be THAT expensive!! Im not sure where the other 9.02 went.. but the big guy at the register told us it was the right price. WE got ripped off. I wont waste my time in there again.

Here from out of town and wanted to find a local breakfast place, not the typical corporate chain restaurant so we looked on Google and found this place. Im sorry we did. More like "Back" country restaurant. Service was poor especially disgusted by servers long hair not kept back just hanging all over while serving our food. Over priced for poor food quality and service. Sorry to say but eat at your own risk....

Ive given this place 3 chances, I will MAYBE go back for lunch, the turkey club was fine. But, breakfast is overpriced and not good. The breakfast potatoes and the scrambled eggs were greasy, bland and covered in oil and black gunk from the filthy grill both times Ive been there. Service is just ok.

The food was tasty, especially the pancakes. However, the service was dreadful. We stood in the doorway waiting for a table. No one greeted us and it was awkward. The server seemed annoyed when we asked for something. Also, the owner just stood at the cash register without so much as a smile.

Good food and atmosphere. Hearty portions of home style cooked country favorites. I see reviews from morons complaining about the food being greasy but these idiots apparently were looking for plain toast and water to match their pale skin and took a wrong turn. This place is the best!

The food was amazing! Blueberry and pecan pancakes, sausage patty, and my husband had the platter with great biscuits and gravy And pork chop. We cant wait to go back and try more! Forget IHOP or Dennys ( where we almost went)!

I read the bad reviews and decided to try it anyway. I was not disappointed. I may be showing my age but this is what all diners used to be like. The food was good the service was good. Enjoyed it greatly will try again.

I dont like country/southern food but their breakfast way superb! My husband tries to have us go every weekend now. Staff was super nice and the owner came over and spoke with us. Love our experience everytime we go.

The pancakes are phenomenal! Sweet enough to not need syrup. I only ordered two and was afraid it wouldnt be enough... until my plate came out! Each pancake was bigger than the plate and oh so tasty!

This place used to be really good. It has fallen into disrepair since the name change (it used to be Ozark Mountain Smokehouse). The breakfast is still good but the service is lacking.

Great Country Breakfast, Nothing fancy. Just good cooking. Pancakes are the size of dinner plates. One of the best home style country breakfast in the city.

Great breakfast - great service. Id give it 4-5 stars if it was cleaner. Just old, dingy and dirty. But, the breakfast is great.

I walked in, turned around and walked out. If the owner doesnt care about cleanliness, Im sure the cook doesnt either. NO THANKS!
