We come in here a couple times a week and never have had a big problem. This evening we came in and sat in the smaller room off to the side because there was no other available tables. There was another table in there they said they hadnt reserved the room there was just no where else to sit. We sat down and the server came in with the other tables drinks and asked of we were part of their table. We said no. She rudely told us we had to get up and sit outside the room because its reserved for private parties?!?!?! The other table already told us they werent a private party they just had no other seating. We ended up leaving since there was no other seating in the dining room. Ive worked as a server for many years and that would not fly anywhere ive worked. Customer sits where they want. When we called to discuss it calmly with the manager we were hung up on. No way to run a buisness that wants returning customers

Im conflicted in writing this review. Yes the food was good quality, yes the prices were more than reasonable, yes the service was good. Will I eat there again? Probably. I just felt like the food was missing something. The steak was cooked to the temp I asked but very bland. Same with the mashed potatoes. The gravy tasted like it came out of one of those just add water packets. On the other hand, the baked beans were great. Add a little bit of seasoning and this place would be great. As far as the atmosphere goes, I was a fan of the turn of the century decor but it did seem a little crowded and half a**ed

So I love cedars never had a problem with them and today I was hungry and our group of 4 was looking for seating and there was absolutely none so we walked into the party room and there was a family sitting there THE FIRST THING THEY SAID WAS YOU CAN SIT IN HERE then there server comes in and was like you cant sit here theres a party and the people didnt have a problem with it but we left because there was no other seats I love all the waitress there and this one in particular was rude the restaurant is based where you walk in and seat your self I had to put this out there cuase cause it was uncalled for

Food was what you would expect from a family restaurant and it was a small menu, but we enjoyed everything...mushrooms, chicken strips, salad, club sandwich, and fries. I like eating at mom and pop places instead of chains and would recommend this one. Service was very friendly and attentive. And you cant beat the prices...6 of us are for less than $40.

Horrible service, havent even seen the waitress after our food came, she got my drink wrong, only gave us one straw for the table, my son asked for melted cheese on his eggs which wasnt on there so she took it back and came back with now cold eggs with cold shredded cheese on top. The food wasnt very good either. It use to be good. What happened?!?!?

I was excited to try Cedars because reviews said they had the best tenderloin in town. Unfortunately it was sub par. My french fries were soggy and our Onion rings were not done. I ordered mash potatoes for my son and they were as bland and boring as they come. They were defiantly out of a box. Not some place I would go back too. Disheartened!

Seen our server 3 times. First after waiting over 5 min. Second to take order third was when we left. Had to ask for ticket to pay no refills. No reasoning place had 5 other tables and the other waitress was on them. She even offered refills as we were leaving and then got our tickets. Did was subpar to any time I have ever been in cedars before.

Ive eaten at Cedars on Campbell twice for lunch. Ive been very dissapointed in the quality of food. The first time I had their Tenderloin sandwich which was all breading and no meat and the second time I had their philly and it wasnt very good. The service wasnt all that great. I waited 20 minutes for my ticket and was late to work.

We went to Cedars last night with another couple. The radio music was blasting so loud it was annoying and hard to hear each other speak. The staff was friendly, even though we came at a busy time. The steaks were tasty, well cooked and the rest of the meal was good. As long as the music is so loud, we probably wouldnt return.

The employees were incredibly kind and helpful at Cedars. The customers all seemed very satisfied, and the food looked delicious! Cedars donated to our silent auction, and we are extremely appreciative of their support! Tent highly recommends Cedars!!

Moved to Springfield in August of 2015. Found out about Cedars, and been eating here 4 to 5 days a week ever since. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced. My server, Shauna, always makes me laugh and feel like family.
