For down-home Arkansas cooking, its hard to beat Homers. Their fried catfish is some of the best in town, and their vegetables and salads are well-prepared and authentic. Theyre also one of the few home-cooking places left in Little Rock that doesnt serve the horrible sweet cornbread and sweet hushpuppies that now seem to be taking over, and which misrepresent traditional Southern cooking. Service is friendly if a bit brusque--understandable, given the mass of patrons Homers serves at lunch every day. For anyone wanting a taste of real Arkansas food, Homers is at the top of the list.

Crystal Oshields review is rude. I dont think she even ate here and I went to the menu from the website and the link is fine. I wish you could leave comments on other peoples reviews. My review: this is an old looking building but the food is good. It looks like a place the locals frequent. I got the double bacon cheeseburger and it was huge. The Onion Rings were very flavorful. The wait staff is friendly. The girls all have sortof a sports bar attire with tight shirts. I give this place a solid 4 stars. When Im in the area I will go out of my way to eat here again. The good is good.

i travel alot and always looking for new places to eat. i googled this place and seen it had a 4.8 rating so i continued to their menu link to check the food selection. i was ao disgusted due to the fact that when you select their menu link it takes you directly to porn sites. ughhhh shame on this place, not a proper way to run a buisness

I worked across the street from Homers! Definitely some of the best food Ive ever put in my mouth! Quick service.. friendly staff n atmosphere.. great prices w/plenty of food for your buck.. if you love that southern down home country taste, try Homers on Roosevelt Rd.. definitely make you lone for home..

Hahaha I love reading the comments about the food. Ive eaten at Homers a thousand times and its not for the food. No one goes to homers for the food. Now the waitresses...... thats another story. I do recommend the chocolate fried pie!

Started eating here longer ago than I care to remember and still love it. Great daily specials, superb service and the best chili death dog piled high with chili and other goodies that you can find south of the Mason-Dixon line.

Simply the best down home meat and three (or four vegetable) plate lunch in Little Rock. Period. End of subject. Go Thursdays and be conflicted between the chicken and sage dressing or the chicken and dumplings.

This is not the prettiest restaurant around but the food is Dynamite and staff is friendly. Smothered cabbage was awesome and we left more than full for way less than I expected.
