Upon walking in I saw the fluorescent lighting and the weird carpet and thought "What on earth did I just walk in to?" I sat down and the waitress brought our drinks and menus. I started looking at the menu and I was amazed at the low prices! I got an omelette with hash browns and oatmeal. The waitress patiently answered my questions about calories and if I could have egg beaters instead of eggs and she said "Of course!" And was so nice about. We had a wonderful conversation about my pets and how I had never been to Vinton before. When the food came out I was astonished! The portions were HUGE! I ended up taking half my meal home (which wasnt an issue for me). I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Its not every day you go to a restaurant and get big portions for low prices. Get chya some.

Honestly, I will probably never eat here again. The food isnt great, it tastes as if it was all pre-frozen or pre-packaged. They claim their food is fresh, but from my experience eating there it isnt. I was there on one occasion and I ordered steak medium well and I got it back rare. I was very disappointed.

I pick a local restaurant over any franchise every time I travel. Vinton family restaurant with their beef kidney and sauted onion left an unforgettable taste in my mouth. Not to mention their friendly, smiling staff. Would go back tomorrow for breakfast.

This is a nice little family restaurant. Good service, a wide range of options. Ive been there a few times, never had anything bad. My only disappointment was they dont have many dessert options. Bathrooms are a little yuck.
