I want preface this review with the fact that I lived in Japan. The food was okay but was mundane in that it lacked the flavors assoiated with Japanese food. I had the lunch chicken teriyaki bento box which was pretty good. The other people in our party had the chicken don which was really just breaded chicken as it was not over rice. The chicken coating was not panko and resembled chicken fried steak. The curry sauce was terrible and did not resemble Japanese or Indian curry. The sushi was okay by American standards and what you would expect. If you are looking for American cuisine with some soy and teriyaki flavor then this would work for you. However, if you are looking to experience Japanese food this is not the place.

I am new to Conway and I wanted to try this restaurant since its was the first hibachi restaurant that I found near my home...so I decided to try them out for lunch (not realizing that they closed @ 2p) was seated and the cook prepared my food in a hurry and as I was beginning to eat the waiter comes and asked if I needed a take out container because they were now closed and that I needed to take my food out. Immediate expression was wtf I just started eating. So I politely packed my food and left......so thanks Novi (waiter) your customer service was horrible.......you guys have just lost my business!!

It was Valentines Day the wait was 50 minutes, but VERY worth it! Our Hibachi Chef was excellent, he even got down Gangnam Style! The service by the wait staff was excellent. I watched the bus boys as they moved quickly to clear empty tables for the long line of customers still waiting to eat. I think you all did an above job! I will return again to the restaurant to dine and recommend and bring more friends. Thank you so much for the filling portions of food, the great service and the fun time! PS: I loved the Japanese dressing on my salad!

Friends say the sushi is fine. Ordering off the main menu isnt worth the trouble. Ive tried several dishes from the entrees and theyre all overpriced. Service here is also hit or miss. Servers would rather ignore a problem than deal with it. Often, ingredients are left off the menu listing. Dont bother to complain, nothing will happen. I havent tried the Hibachi grill, but it stays busy and folks look happy leaving. Theres just no reason to pay these prices for this service and quality. Go elsewhere if youve got the option.

The smell is horrible in the place. It smells like old mop water. I waited a hour just to have the chef out to cook for us. The worst part about the experience was that my total was $13 and I was on a really tight budget that night because it was my birthday. I checked my banking account this morning to find out the tipped their selves to $20. IM PRETTY DARN SURE THAT ILLEGAL. That was completely rude I will not be coming back for a VERY long time.

I came here a few Sunday back and the food was excellent and the service was good but I noticed when I came threw the weekday service was slow food wasnt that good. It was almost like they change the ingredients threw the week day. I talked to one of the manager about the rice and how bland it was and they didnt try to record more or take it off the check still had 2 pay for food I didnt eat. Want be back unless they change somethings.

The entry way smelled horrible when we walked it. It still smelled funky while we waited for a hostess to seat us. We stood there and waited and waited as waitresses and employees walked right past us without saying a word. The experience was very awkward and uncomfortable. We ended up leaving with a long line of people behind us who were also waiting to be greeted. On my way to unami. Hopefully they will have better service.

Smelled bad up front and was seated by rear kitchen door. Every time they opened the door, it smelled sour. Hibachi was mediocre at best. Still cost $100 for 4 to eat. Not fond of paying that much for mediocre food and terrible atmosphere. Been several years since we ate there. Gone down hill badly since then. Ill keep going to Naru. Much better, at a fraction of the cost. No show, but thats over rated anyway.

Been here a few times. Nothing really blows me away about the food. I only get the salmon hibachi because the chicken, steak options arent very good. Ive had different kinds of sushi here as well but again. Nothing really exciting, just same stuff everybody else has. My favorite thing is the clear soup they give you while you wait 30 minutes for a cheap dinner show followed by fair to moderate quality food.

My favorite place for sushi, not just because of the quality. a big drawing point for me and my friends. They remember what you like, encourage to try new things, have never failed to deliver excellent sushi, and a few surprises as well. If youre new to sushi, this is place. If youre an old pro like me, you should feel right at home snugged up to the bar watching the chefs perform their magic.

Horrible service everytime we come here. Weve figured we just caught the place on a bad day, but its been too many times of disappointment. The servers cant get simple orders right, they take 15-20 minutes to come by your table, and they just look pissed to even be here. Food isnt that great to put up with the service. Just go to Umamis if youre looking for sushi and habachi.

Fuji is my favorite hibachi steakhouse. Ive eaten at a few different locations; all very good. There is just s different flavor about their hibachi than all of the other hibachi restaurants. Very good sushi and THE BEST yum-yum sauce. I LOVE the little crispy flovored appetizers that they bring while youre waiting on your food. Sooooo yummy.

This place used to be awesome! Not very clean anymore. Food is hit or miss these days. My wife and I were eating hibachi and several minutes after being seated water dropped on to my plate. Asked the manager and was told they just cleaned the hoods on the roof. Needless to say I lost my appetite. They didnt even ask if we wanted to move.

Dont go here for sushi, it sucks. My salmon sashimi tasted like the refrigerator it had been stored in for way too long....with a healthy soaking in bottled lemon juice to try & mask the odors/flavors. If youve actually ever had good quality sushi, this will surely disappoint you.

Great place, much better experience than at Umamis. Went for hibachi, soup was slightly on the plain side but still good. They provided us with real napkins unlike Umamis. Chop sticks were much better quality. Wonderful service. More food for a better price.

Every time that I have been here, the food and service have been good. The only complain that I have is that it smells when you first walk in (and it doesnt smell like a Hibachi grill, either). The waiting/sitting area that they have smells terribly.

We eat here 2-3 times a month. Dinner is very expensive, but a lot of fun. Lunch is the best value, never had a bad meal. Sushi is ok, not the best Ive ever had but good for Arkansas. Service is usually pretty good.
