"Go For Show, Not The Food" We took our son there for his birthday. While they put on a good show that the kids will enjoy, the prices and proportions are horrible. We got there for the early bird special which is chicken and beef for $13.85. Now you get soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, noodles, rice, and your meat. Now here is were they get you. You get white rice or pay $2 more to substitute for fried rice. They give you a little strip of chicken and a little strip of beef. Dont get me wrong, you wont leave hungry, just full from all the filler food I listed above not the meat. The cheapest kids meals are $9 each. My total bill for the five of us was $75 before tip. The waitress let my wifes and my water run out 3 times. We will go back again for special occasion, but will get kids something before hand so not paying $36 for 4 kids meals.

I never have written a review before, but wanted to express my enjoyment eating here. The food was excellent, I didnt think it was possible to make rice taste absolutely amazing. The staff was awesome, Chief Baker was really on his game, very engaging to be a tough job. The waitress was fantastic, (Britney) It was really great to see the manager on the floor the whole time doing a little bit of everything. an over all proper manager and staff. Decor was really nice, great sushi bar. one of a kind with the boats. Please share the feed back to everyone if its possible, they deserve to know. P.S. I love the food, it is excellent. I always get the teriyaki chicken almost every Sunday after church. I also love the brown ginger sauce that comes with the meal. The orange sauce I cant eat because it upsets my stomach so I double up on the brown ginger sauce instead. Im only giving 3 stars because when I ask for extra noodles or vegetables they dont actually give me extra, they just take other peoples share and give it to me. They are very cheap when it comes to portions. You have to order a completely second meal to get extra even when you only want extra of just one side. Otherwise this place would get 5 stars from me

Best Sushi around! The fish is fresh, the sushi chefs answers any questions, and the service is good. They have sushi boats floating around the sushi bar as well that allows you to choose whatever floats by while youre there. Its a fun way of presenting it and letting you see it before you buy. Also, they have a pineapple saki special on Friday nights which is awesome! I highly recommend it. If you asked my husband he would highly recommend trying the Toro nigiri. He claims its the best stuff around.

Very clean! great environment, i loved the sushi boats floating around the sushi bar. The chef we had was very funny but professional at the same time. he cooked everything perfectly and it was a joy talking to him after he prepared our meals. The service was a little slow on refilling drinks, but it was a busy sat night so I wont take off points for that. Overall it was a great dining experience and we will definitely be returning.

Great place for good hibachi style dining. The cooking is as you would expect from any hibachi place. The vegetables (which can seem to scrimp on the more expensive ingredients at another hibachi on Pineville-Matthews) are always balanced. There is normally a crowd, but our family has found the best time to go is Sunday right when they open. Sunday is the only day they serve lunch, so take care not to visit for weekday lunch.

The service was quick and the workers were nice. The place seemed pretty clean, cooktops and seats. The food was very good, steak cooked perfectly, shrimp and scallops werent overdone, and everything was nicely seasoned. My only complaint would be the portion sizes. At similar hibachi places, the portions tend to be much larger for the price, so I had to take off one star. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

This a good place been here a couple of times. Really liked the sushi rolls from my previous visits. I guess tonight wasnt my night I got some rolls that looked like they were out for a couple of hours. Funny thing this guy comes and try to tell me that thats how all spicy tuna rolls taste. Im like its Saturday night I dont want to argue about food. So whatever hope next time if I come back everything goes well.

Never in my life have I ever been so disrespected! I tried to place an order to go, and first they gave me the wrong order. Then refused to give me the correct order. I have been a customer for as long as I can remember, but this drew the line. I find it disrespectful to mumble under your breath about me while I am standing there. Its disrespectful and bad for business.

I used to go there almost everyday when I worked in the area. Ive moved since then & will make a special trip over there on my birthday. The atmosphere is family-friendly & the staff is great. Now my bill is a little more expensive (being a mother) than it used to be as a single lady. But my daughter really loves the food & now I can go whenever I like❤

Great hibachi place. The chefs are all well practiced and rarely miss a beat. The food is tasty by Hibachi standards and the proportions are generous. Theres even a conveyor belt sushi bar and regular dining for those not looking for hibachi. If I had any complaints, itd be that they could have deveined the shrimps better. But I dont especially mind.

I ate there for the first time last night. And it was the most horrible Japanese food ive ever eaten. I told them i was allergic to onion get home and onions all through my rice. Callled them back today and they ask for the last 4 of my card and then proceed to tell me they sorry and they could only discount i ordered today.

Enjoyed a wonderful night at the sushi bar last night with my wife. We had rolls with crab and shrimp, cucumber, eel sauce, etc. Wonderfully fresh and sauces had great flavor. Good portions with pieces not oversized like some places. Waitress service was prompt and just right. Cant say enough. We will be regulars!

No good. We are very experienced eaters... coming from NYC... this place was very busy, but the food was no good. Sushi were nothing special, but expensive. Hibachi was plain bad. Soup was ok, salad was not. Scallops we great, the steak was horrible. Nothing was seasoned properly. Would not recommend.

This place has very energetic staff. Great for parties. Plus i always love places that always brings food to the table. You will never leave this place hungry. Plus they never keep you waiting for your food to come. I would always recommend. My uncles birthday was a major success.

Just not the best visit I have had there. Typically would go through the full hibachi experience but was short on time. Sat at the sushi bar but still ordered from the hibachi menu. It simply was not as good as it typically is sitting through the full hibachi experience.
