The place was pleasantly busy. We were immediately seated, and thats when the problems began. They tried to locate us at a table where there just wasnt room for two people. If we had agreed to sit here my chair would have been blocking a major access point for the servers. I requested a different table and we were moved about 5 feet away. My wife and I are not big eaters, so I clearly told the server that we would like to order one entree and their combo appetizer, and split them. She took our order, stopped back 5 minutes later to remind her which 3 apps I requested for the combo, and went on her way. When the food was delivered the apps looked OK, but the Shrimp Scampi I ordered as the entree looked like no Shrimp Scampi I had ever seen. No pasta, no butter, and fried!!!. We inquired, and the waitress said she had placed our order for Shrimp Scampi Fritta, which is apparently a fried appetizer, instead of the entree I had requested. This was in addition to the 3 app combo. She apologized for the "miscommunication" as she put it. I didnt send it back, as I didnt want to wait 15 minutes for the corrected order. She came back 5 minutes later and said that she was going to place the order correctly, and that the Shrimp Scampi Fritta would be taken off our bill. So our bill just went up from the cost of an app to the cost of an entree. Curious. She brought out the breadsticks that would come with an entree, but no soup or salad. My wife asked for some butter for the breadsticks, and the waitress brought 3 square silver packets. They were rock hard, so I placed them on my plate to try to soften up the butter. After a few minutes they were still hard, so we just opened them up. They were chocolate, not butter. All the food was mediocre - totally lacking taste and character. Nothing wrong with it, just not very good. As we were finishing our last few bites our entree was delivered. We requested boxes and took it home. When the bill arrived, sure enough, we were charged for the entree, not the app. A sad visit where not much went right.

I went tonight to Olive Garden to celebrate my friends birthday. With a party of 8 plus two children. First I come to the this Olive Garden at least monthly and is my go to place for dining out. After tonight I most likely will not return to this Olive Garden. I personally am amazed that one dining trip would make me dislike a place so much but from the waiter to the manager it was problem after problem. First one salad was brought out for 7 people, we asked for another, has that simply is not enough. The second salad arrived with the entrees! Then they completely spaced my daughters order and once it arrived (after everyone else) they forgot her side dish. We had to ask EVERY time we need a drink refill, or bread, or anything. We had two waiters since it a larger party and still couldnt get service. Then comes time to pay and everyones ticket (we split the check up) is messed up. People are paying for things they never order, and our credit cards are gone for OVER 40 MINUTES. I do NOT feel safe having a stranger with my card that long. Then they under charge me so they were going to refund me and charge me the correct amount. But they again recharge me and not refund. So long story short, I have two three charges and two refunds on my card. My friends tickets are also messed up too, so on my out I asked to see the manager. Fernando Garza was his name. NEVER once did he say sorry, or ask how fix this or even acted like he care. He only repeated that my card will only be charged once. BUT the other charges may take up to 5-7 days to disappear from my account. He gave me his card to call if they dont disappear. I thought he would say sorry, and that the waiter messed up but he would hope I would return...but nope nothing. Since the waiter cant return cards in timely manner, manage wait on tables, and the manager doesnt care I dont care to return here.

Restaurant Reviews: ~Today’s Review is Olive Garden~ Location: 13379 West Grand Avenue Surprise, AZ 85374 Rating: **** Food/ Drinks: ***** Waiting Service: **** Handicap Accessibility: ***** Price: *** We and many other people have enjoyed Olive Garden because we have had many exciting experiences. Olive Garden has exquisite dining and food. Their waiting services are always spot on and they are so nice and pleasing and they always refill your drinks, salads, breadsticks…. Even before you order you can have something to munch on, they even have unlimited breadsticks and salads. Make sure you try their spaghetti, it is our personal favorite and I think it could be yours too! Their menu includes: appetizers, lunch, dinner, dessert, and an extensive drink menu. Their food is also very filling and their portions are extra, extra large. Olive garden also always has specials but the prices are still high but the food makes it well worth it. Olive garden is also a great place for birthdays or family gatherings because they have birthday desserts and big, huge meals for big families. Olive garden is a big place for inside and outside seating. Usually you do not have to wait a long time either. The noise level is not too high and it never bothers us. Olive Garden also has no stairs so it is wheel chair accessible and it has handicap bathrooms. It also has no lines for the bathroom so you can go when you need to go. I would say that the only bad thing about Olive Garden is that sometimes you have to wait outside because their waiting room is not very big. But the good thing is that you can make reservations and the wait is not very long anyways. Overall this restaurant is really good.

The Daily Dine By: Jake And Maddison Olive Garden is a place where you can take your family. They offer a kids menu with kid’s drinks. Olive garden serves Italian food. Appetizers include Fried Calamari, Sicilian Scampi and soups that range from a White and Red bean soup called Pasta e Fagioli Minestrone. The food was delicious in every way. I thought that the only disturbance was the one time the waiter got me a diet instead of a regular pop. The food melted in your mouth and tasted so succulently when it went down with a large gulp. They have a very large wine selection that I found delightfully tasteful. The service was so sincerely kind that I almost jumped for joy in delight on my waiter. He gave me smiles and winks at my tip of $15. I found that on slightly the rude side but he was kind enough to give me a free desert. For being a critic I get many free things but I still pay as much as they let me because I don’t think that high quality dining should be free for even the highest of authority. These are some reviews from other critics in our standards of high dining. The dining was an extremely interesting service with peculiar food with high standards of tastes and textures. The News In food The service offers family menus from ages 0 to 99. Critics Galore I did not find one hair in my food. The atmosphere was great if you have to wait to be seated they have an arrangement of chairs inside and out. Olive Garden has comfortable seats. They offer booths and tables. The honey moon seat is the best view of the restaurant and the guests in it.
