To start, we arrived for our reservation 5 minutes ahead of time, to find out they were behind on their reservations..so had to wait over 45 minutes to be seated. Once we got our food, we noticed the chicken was pink. After returning the food, a "manager" came over to "assure" us that the chicken was fully cooked, although I have ordered this dish on several occasions and has never looked like that. The waitress had extremely low energy and actually argued with me about the pink chicken. I surely did not feel like we were at a high class restaurant. Will not be returning to the Scottsdale Tommy Bahamas, unless I want undercooked chicken and a waitress that hates her life.

Great experience at Tommy Bahamas. We went for Valentines Day, we arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservations but we were seated right away. Started off with mojitos, were excellent. Crab cake appetizers followed, also excellent. We both had the land and sea off the special Valentines Day menu, began with a very good crab bisque, both the filet mingon and lobster tail were perfectly cooked. We finished with a toasted coconut and pineapple cake, just the right amount of sweetness. The wait staff was polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was great as well, we enjoyed our evening.

Great outdoor patio, and when feeling like a mixed tropical drink they do a great job. I enjoy coming here right as the sun is setting and sitting upstairs, as its far enough away form the steel drum music to have a good conversation yet not lose the atmosphere. Food is above average for a chain, I recommend pulled pork sandwich ( a few times its had some large spots of fat but normally very good). Can get busy during the snow bird season as do the other places in kierland.

There is nothing special about this restaurant. It is in an upscale area and food is fairly costly. I ordered one of the 3 favorites recommended by my order taker and it turned out to be, not up to standard. Oily, no spice at all, not visually appealing .. etc. A lady who was dining next to me recommended a lime cake based desert while she was leaving - which was nothing beyond a piece of cake you get anywhere. My experience was disappointing - sorry.

Looking for great food, great service, great live music. This is the place you want to come to. The steel drums take me back to when I visited Hawaii. This place is a great place for a romantic dinner. Or if you just want to have appetizers and enjoy the music. The people here are always very friendly and the food is top quality. You will not leave here disappointed. Hurry go and try it for yourself.

Blackened fish tacos were delicious. They have flour tortillas. Should give customer a choice between flour or corn tortillas. Also, please stop charging for soda water from the tap/not a bottle. I am a restaurant connoisseur and have eaten at several restaurants in recent months. This is the absolute ONLY restaurant that charges $3.50 for it. I was annoyed by that.

Food was wonderful with a variety of yummy drink for those over and under 21. The atmosphere is comfortable open and airy allowing for casual or elegant wear. Our waiter who was very friendly and helpful was always there for anything we needed yet wasnt a pest. The price range isnt to high around $30 per person and a wonderful dinner Ive repeated many times.

I very much hoped that Monarch would meet my expectations. But I thought that it went above and beyond. The service was excellent, very kind, and attentive service. And, the most important, the food. The perfect size portions make dinner more enjoyable, because you do not feel like you are ill after having a mere 2 courses.

Went about 3 weeks ago dont care for the new look. No style, staff no longer looked happy to work there drinks we not good bartender took forever to make them . The rude hostess kept fixing chair next to us even though we were the only ones there at the bar on a Saturday afternoon. one star is to much will not go back.

Ive only been here once, but what a cool experience. The food is amazing, the seafood is fresh, and the vibe is unbeatable. I mean... Its Tommy Bahama, after all. You really feel like you are on the ocean when dining here. BIG fan and I hope to return in the very near future. The fish tacos... Incredible. Cheers!

I wasnt very impressed with their happy hour selection... I have been here countless times for dinner and lately I just am not feeling the quality of food. The restaurant went through a renovation and has an amazing outdoor patio. The staff is friendly but again it just fell short with the quality of the food.

Great service! Nice outdoor environment! Classy, romantic. Live music. Excellent food and bar. Had the tuna tacos and bread which was actually a lot of food for the price! Sat at the bar, listened to some live island music while chatting with some locals. Fun time. Nice place. Friendly / fast service.

Im always surprised by how few people realize there is a good restaurant instead Tommy Bahamas. The food and drinks are great here, especially if you like seafood, and theyre not lying when they say theyve got the best coconut shrimp!

I had a delicious meal (the fish sandwich) - I would recommend asking for just the fish part, as its a huge meal and I couldnt eat the bun/fries. Very, very good and friendly staff. Andrea was walking and shes just the nicest person!

Great service, Lauren was amazing! Their drinks were so creative, the blood orange margarita is a must try. Their food was also awesome...Id recommend starting with the grilled artichoke. Cant wait to go back again.

Had dinner a cafe monarch; beautiful small romantic fine dining restaurant with a fine dining menu that unfolds as the evening progresses. The outside patio is a must. The service is classy, but not snooty.

Food was good but the place was packed, service was slow, and the live music was terrible/loud. Because most of that wasnt much of the restaurants fault it gets 4 stars for good (albeit pricey) food.

Came for Happy hour 3-6. Excellent service, sliders were delicious, $7 tuna poke was good for the price but not mind blowing. The cocktails though: always top notch. Love the island experience

One of my favorite restaurants. Love to go with friends and try different menu items each time. Simply looking at the dessert tray presentation is satisfying. They also have GREAT cocktails.

Phenomenal food. Best seared Scallops and juicy Shrimp topped with mouth watering curry sauce . Just delicious cuisine. Highly recommend their happy hour menu.
